Website designed for bots. Drip feeding product giving regular customers no chance to get anything,

Completely unusable website. Says access denied but am not using a vpn etc. Support said they would look into it about 6 months ago but then nothing. Guess they don’t want new customers.

Had no previous issues, but have currently been waiting for a month since release of Vendetta (Riftbound) and still haven't heard anything about my shipment, while no other places has any issues with delivering their orders. I have contacted customer service a couple of times and just get the answer that they "don't know when they will get the product". Kinda awful customer experience.

As of 07/09/2026 i still have not heard anything from Total Cards about this order. This is getting ridiculous...

I’ve been a customer of Total Cards for around six years, but unfortunately, my experience with them has steadily got worse over time.

A recurring issue has been pre-orders for TCG products. I’ve ordered a number of pre-order items through their website, only for the release date to come and go with no product. A month passes, I chase them up, and then another month can pass before I’m still having to chase for an update. 6 months go by... etc.. etc..

There are two major issues for me here:

They appear to consistently oversell pre-orders.
Communication is extremely poor. If there are delays or supply issues, why can’t customers simply be kept regularly informed rather than having to repeatedly chase for updates?

Another major gripe is their VIP programme. I’ve spent a significant amount with Total Cards over the years, yet their VIP scheme seems to reward customers based almost entirely on whether they have made a purchase within the last month. So, despite being a longstanding customer with considerable spending history, I’m effectively not considered a VIP if I haven’t happened to make a purchase recently.

When I questioned this, I was told: “Our goal is to give back to everyone who supports us, not just those who place big orders when a new set is released!”

The phrase “not just” is interesting, because in reality it seems that customers who have spent heavily with them historically aren’t being recognised unless they continue purchasing every single month. When I can get through their annoying site I do try and buy every few months, but TCG products have recently been selling out very quickly, giving me no chance to buy.

Thankfully, there are now more TCG stores than ever, and customers have plenty of choice. I can’t help but wonder whether, when the market inevitably turns and competition becomes tougher, Total Cards might regret alienating some of their longstanding and loyal customers.

After six years of being a customer, it’s disappointing to feel that loyalty doesn’t seem to count for very much with this company.

I have previously ordered from Total Cards and had no issues, usually quick next day delivery. However, last month I pre ordered pitch black as well as ordering some other cards and it still hasn't arrived. I've had to reach out to them every time as I've had no updates via email through total cards or shopify.

I placed a pre-order for some new Chinese products, which then shipped almost a month late. There was no communication about the delay unless I explicitly reached out to ask what was going on.
Eventually once the products did ship they arrived damaged with big dents on the corner of the boxes. Customer service said they were not able to help since the contents of the boxes were probably fine. However it is common in the pokemon space to keep sealed items and I had aoecially bought 2 so I could open one and keep one for my sealed collection.

I really dont find the communication about the delay or the response to damaged products to be acceptable.

They fake their pre-orders with "comin soon" and hold product to sell them at market price "scalper price" all shops are doing it so obviously the prices will be artificial like this

Ordered on 16th May, still haven’t received my order. When I check stock levels they have 1 of 3 items in stock at any one time. items sold rather than put away to honour back orders. Every week same reply. Stock coming next week. But they then sell the other items that were in stock then say we won’t send your order until it’s complete. Will just stick to magic madhouse and chaos cards in future.

I used to love these guys. 4 years has past and now I wouldn't touch them with a barge pole. You can pretty much forget getting any English product. They seem to hoard them. Now all we get is Japanese/Chinese/SK product and it's massively overpriced. These guys have turned into scalpers and it's not OK. Avoid them, especially if things ever go back to normal - scalpers need to learn.

The selling option needs alot of work.
I sent in a bundle any they only offered 10% of the miminmal value of the bundle. Now I now this is a business and you need to make money but you need to make fairer offers.
I also paid a processing fee so I expected my cards to be delt with with care however when retued all my AR and SAR cars were left out of the protective packing and everything was just thrown in the box without any care. Im horrified how you can charge people and still treat their products like this, also i had items missing on my parcels return.

It is my first time using this company to support my new Pokemon hobby and so far no issues or problems. Contacted customer support, whom got back to me really quick. Received my all my orders with no problem as well.

I recently ordered a few times from this company. I ordered a couple of Yu-Gi-Oh booster boxes that were already in stock. The whole process was excellent, very fast delivery, items arrived safely and thankfully they use a very reliable courier service to deliver my items

Paid over RRP for a current product. Ordered 9th of April on the back of a "Restocks just Dropped" email.

After a week of receiving no tracking, I contacted TotalCards to be told the product would be "shipping tomorrow"

That was last week, still waiting for my order, or any tracking information.

When I ordered, there was no "Shipping On" date, nor was it stated as a Back Order. The email clearly stated a Restock had happened, not an order for stock...

I genuinely wouldn't mind if it was clear at the time of order, or if it stated this in the order confirmation. Instead I had to email to find out what was going on. The staff were friendly, but that's a shocking level of service.

Order is 2 months late and there isn't even a sense that the place cares. The customer service team is abysmal. With a 2 month delay all I get is "maybe in the next few weeks". I can't remember the last time I dealt with an online shop with this level of customer satisfaction indifference. Ridiculous.

Awful company, made an order and then cancelled it hours later. They still sent it out and charged me, their chat system is a stupid AI chatbot and they never reply to you, waste of time dealing with them, avoid and user other card retailers.

Update 29/01: It has been 10days since I sent multiple message via their online chat, still not had any reply. Zero customer service, like talking to a wall. Avoid, avoid avoid.

I don't want to be harsh but I feel they should make it more clear on their website that a product is on back order, as I didn't see anything indicating that when I made my purchase - I bought the last item "in stock", which implies that they have the stock. There was no mention of a pre-order when I made the purchase

Only found out after waiting a month and then contacting customer service that they "are still waiting on our supplier to receive their delivery of this from the manufacturer (these are still on pre-order with us)."

It might be in their terms and conditions somewhere, but I feel it should be made more clear when making the purchase

The people who work in the gaming centre (the shop front) are lovely. There are some of the admin and warehouse staff that are also lovely. That's it. For the sake of not being sued, that's where I'll leave it. Personally, I wouldn't provide my money to this company ever again.

Made a pre order with this company years ago, did not deliver, did not even bother to contract me about it.... upon contacting them they were unable to give me any kind of concrete info as to what was going on, just the usual copy paste careless responses. Decided to give them another chance recently with a pre order, since it had been years since the last time, thought maybe they had improved in that time... but nope... once again let down... meanwhile other stores showing the product as in stock, avoid this company they are a joke and will leave you utterly frustrated. They also try and weasel their way out of negative feedback on here, taking no accountability for how bad they are... watch them also do it with this review.

Used to order from here a lot over the last couple of years. But since the craziness of trying to buy Pokemon cards Total Cards have become greedy in my opinion and charging over inflated prices at times. Initially they always came up the cheapest matched with great customer service. Now despite saying there is free shipping, this is not the case when a new set drops.

Fantastic service, quick email response to a problem while ordering and then quick delivery with the product being very well packaged, would definitely recommend.
