So far so good. Have pre ordered twice now with more outstanding. Both have turned up well packaged and in top condition.
As with all pre orders, there’s the chance it could be cancelled as they’re at the mercy of the distributor so take that into account.
Looking forward to making more orders in the future.

Really bad customer service, they didnt notify me that my order was cancelled, I just saw a credit card reversal. I made a pre-order for Riftbound Origins. I ordered 5 months before release (May 2025) and made sure they had enough inventory and stuff before ordering but hey around release time they truly kicked you to the curb and didnt honour their pre-order. They are blaming allocation and what not, then dont take pre-orders. Or take only what you can. Coz I had checked multiple times with them if they would honour the pre-order and they confirmed that they would

Hadn't heard of hodges tc beforehand, but glad ive came across them. Prices are amazing and was delivered the next day with great packaging which was tracked the whole time.
Spoke to them via email and got a answer back in less then 30 minutes.
Couldn't be more happier with my purchase. 10/10
I paid a £10 deposit to pre-order a MTG Final Fantasy bundle. I was then sent an invoice two weeks before release for the final balance. I then received an email the day before release saying my order was cancelled. Making it almost impossible for me to find one of these bundles at RRP this close to the release date.
They emailed me back saying they didn't receive enough stock. Which is unfortunate, but I didn't get what I ordered so hence the low rating.
Giving 2 stars because at least the refund was processed promptly.
I've got another pre-order deposit in with them for another MTG product later in the year. Hopefully that one goes okay but this hasn't exactly filled me with confidence.

Arrived beautifully packaged and on time, could not be happier. Especially considering that my order was for the full MTG: Final Fantasy commander precon set which was priced incredibly considerately considering the demand. Could not be happier to have given Hodges Trading Cards a try. Will absolutely be looking to buy from them in the future.
Perfect service as always! They really went all out with their loyal customers for DR! And I couldn’t be happier. They really do go above and beyond and are customer focused! This will always be my go to site now!

Never had a problem until I order 2 OP-05 booster boxes last year and it came damaged. On then 26 September 2024, a day after delivery I believe, I contacted them say that my item came damaged and they replied on the same day saying that I should provided pictures of the damaged item and they have provided there own images of the packaging. No problems so far. But when I provide my own picture shown that the packaging box was fully damaged as it had a massive dent and the booster boxes were damaged, I got no response from them. On the same email thread I replied again on the 4 Oct 2024 saying that "the damage is visible on the side that is underneath in the delivery photo, which wasn’t clearly captured." After that I contact them again through their website on the 8 Oct 2024 to go over the same issue and what they said was "Once we hand over our deliveries, they are the responsibility of the Royal Mail. you would need to contact them for this issue we are no longer liable." This reply was on the 9 Oct 2024. And on the same day I replied that 'While I understand that Royal Mail is responsible for delivery, the item was damaged upon receipt, and your website’s policy states that goods damaged before receipt by the customer can be returned within 30 days. I have provided pictures showing the damage to the box and the booster box itself, which aligns with your “Damaged Item Return” policy. "Damaged Item Return", "Damaged items can be returned within 30 days of Inital Purchase (from the day the order was made) If item is a pre order return time starts from the day of release."' Never heard a response from them again. At this point I was like Hodges is never going to help at this point so I went to royal mail. Long story short I got a reply on the 2 May 2025 "On this occasion I am not able to accept your claim for compensation, as the service used was a prepaid contract service and all claims must be made by the contract holder. I do recommend you contact them to discuss this issue further." Then I went back to Hodges and contact them through there website like I have always done and never got a reply. I contact them again on the 14th of May and it has been over a week and no response. Never use Hodges Trading Cards as when something goes wrong they will not respond.
*UPDATE* Hodges has reply with misinformation. Not once Hodges has asked me to returned the items. The first time I message them I showed them the box was damaged and ask to and give advise on the next steps. Never got a reply after that. I had to contact them again stating that I haven't got a reply and how we can move on from this. Then they replied with that the responsibility now is with Royal Mail. Then I looked at the company policy and found out that damaged items can be returned within 30 days and told them that. Never got a reply. You say that "returns are the sole responsibility of the customers" but at least you could of reply to one of my email give and give acknowledgment that I can return the item and give me a refund. How am I pose to return the item when you haven't said anything other than the responsibility now is with Royal Mail

Continue to order from Hodges, and each time they always provide the best service, clear communication if there’s any delays with stock coming in from suppliers which is out of their control. and easy to contact if you have anyways questions. Couldn’t recommend them enough!
Really good company I cannot tell u how much care they took in packaging my game .( Much appreciated )The game itself was brand new and was sent by tracking which is always good. This place i highly recommend .

Great experience all around, I had made a mistake with the order and they were quick to refund the card that I had accidentally ordered a duplicate of, the shipping was smooth and on time.
Appreciate their stance against practises that are too common these days, will definitely be getting my continued business! Thanks!
