TOG24 stands for “Truth Over Glory Everyday”. We’re not about the “Glory” side of the outdoors; Planting flags on mountains or skiing down sheer ice walls, we’re about the “True” outdoors that everybody can be involved with; walking with friends to the pub or skiing with the family to a bar. Based in the Spen Valley town of Heckmondwike, initially produced footwear, branched into sports bags and football kits in the 70's before finally landing on waterproofs and fleeces. As the brand grew in popularity skiwear and casual clothing were added. We manufactured all our clothing in the head office we still own today, however, to ensure we stayed competitive and to keep our doors open, it was with a heavy heart that we began producing overseas. Whatever the product was, it had to fit into our motto... TOG24 are a product of our location in the Spen Valley, Yorkshire; we try to do things right, we don’t believe in the marketing hype that’s out there and everything we make represents quality and value for your hard earned pound. And while we no longer manufacture here (that stopped in 2010) all our products are still proudly designed in the Spen Valley TOG24 began with the factory shop in Heckmondwike. Originally carpeted in off cuts of fleece and selling seconds and ends of lines out of cardboard boxes, the store did so well that we stopped trying to sell TOG24 to other people’s shops and set up our own chain of stores. TOG24 now sells from over 60 outlets across Britain and Ireland, (and for the biggest bargains you can still visit us at our original factory shop in Heckmondwike).

Handy coat

Great help within the shop from assistant to help with sizes. Lovely little pack away coat purchased to take with you wherever you are going.

Really disappointed with the customer…

Really disappointed with the customer service from TOG24.

I bought a coat in November 2024 as a long-term winter coat and was very happy with it at first. Unfortunately, the zip has already broken due to a missing tooth, making the coat unusable after what I would consider a reasonable amount of normal wear.

What frustrated me most was the response from customer services. Rather than showing any understanding or offering any goodwill gesture, they were quite abrupt and immediately focused on explaining why they wouldn’t help. They suggested the issue may have been caused by me not engaging the zip properly, despite the fact the coat is less than two years old and should reasonably last longer than this.

I wasn’t demanding a brand new coat — even a contribution towards repair or some form of goodwill would have shown they value customers. Instead, the overall tone felt defensive and dismissive from the start.

It’s a shame because I genuinely liked the coat itself, but the aftercare experience has completely put me off buying from TOG24 again.

It’s great to hear that you were initially happy with the coat, and we understand how frustrating it must be to experience an issue with the zip after regular use.

As your purchase is now outside of our 12-month warranty period, we’re unfortunately unable to offer a repair, replacement, or goodwill contribution on this occasion. Our Customer Care Team can only assess claims in line with our warranty policy, and we apologise if this came across as dismissive in our previous communication, as that was never our intention.

Absolute scam

Absolute scam. Do not buy from this disgraceful company. Poor quality, poor fit, poor customer service. Daylight robbery. Refuse refund returns.

Who knew?

After saying to my husband "I'll come, but I don't need anything" yet another great find....who knew TOG did swimsuits haha.

Great customer service and laughs as always.
