Extremely rude customer service
My order has been lost in shipping for 5 days. I called Tnutz during business hours to politely request a replacement order because the situation is time sensitive. The person answering the call got very snarky with me because he was annoyed that I called while he was driving. No apology about the missing package or anything. Absolutely unacceptable way to handle a customer service call, and very rude.
Tnutz is refusing to rush a replacement order because they don't think they can get it done in one week, although the order is not even very big. Tnutz is asking me to wait even longer in case the package comes, even though UPS told me it was time for the seller to initiate an investigation because the package is lost.

I places the yesterday and change my mind and so email them last night so that they see in morning. I want to cancel my order and they ask for a order number so give first thing this morning. Got this email back form them
Sorry but the extrusions have been cut already so we can not cancel them at this point.

Absurdly Long Shipping Times
I made a purchase on September 10th, it is now September 22nd, and my order still hasn't shipped, despite receiving an email with a tracking number on September 17th. USPS Still says its awaiting item. I would suggest NO ONE to order from this business.
Bad customer service
I reached out to Tnutz regarding a damaged item I received and requested a replacement. Instead of addressing the issue or offering a solution, their response was to ask for a picture of the box along with the damaged item, saying they needed it to file a claim with UPS—no mention at all of a replacement or refund.
It felt like they were more concerned about their claim with UPS than actually helping their customer. I paid for the item, it arrived damaged, and instead of standing behind their product or offering a timely resolution, they pushed the burden onto me. Extremely poor customer service and zero accountability. Would not recommend based on this experience

Ordered some T-slot extrusion from them on december 28, 2024. Billed right away as usual. Received tracking info from them in the first week in Jan 2025 however when i clicked on tracking # there was some nonsense about "UPS doesn’t have possession of the package yet. Estimated delivery date will be available as soon as we get the package." Using Tnutz's chat feature i Spoke with someone by the name of Robert whom claimned that the package was picked up but UPS could be having technical issues and to give it a few more days.🤨
My patience is very thin when it comes to delays in online transactions. I dont play around and as soon as i detect suspicious activity i always communicate with the seller my time frame for a resolution before i file a claim with my credit card provider.
I checked the tracking # a few more days and kept getting the same message. I called UPS customer service and spoke with someone their that said he sees the same message i see. He said anytime UPS picks up a shipment they always provider a pickup number to the shipper that starts with 29. He said to ask Tnutz about that pickup number. Contacted Robert whom totally evaded my question about the UPS pickup number. After a few more communication he sent me an email on Jan 7, 2025 that Anna Antonucci, Senior Account Manager at UPS location 6975 Northern Blvd, East Syracuse, NY 13057
was working on a resolution. During this time Robert becamed extremely unprofessional so i ended up sending him an email on Jan 8, 2025 that i had file a claim with my credit card provider and on
on Jan 10, 2025 they officially started the dispute.
On Jan 8, 2025 i received an email done via group communtion with Robert and the So called UPS Senior Account Manager Anna Antonucci that they have been unable to locate the package and that they will be monitoring the situations. At this point my imagination was rolling big time and literally started thinking that Anna Antonoucci could possibly be made up.(lol)
Shortly after i got my money back the package showed up in Januray. For an order that was heavy it was poorly packaged. Pass orders were always package well with hard angle cardboard protectors on the edges of the T-slot extrusions.
This order had zero angle hard cardboard edge protectors and the cardboard box itself was grossly inadequate for that sorta weight. Almost all the extrusions had dents and scratches on them. They tried to argue that the packaging was adequate so i sent an unboxing video and images that prove otherwise. They sent a return lable and the package was returned back to them in the same manner i received it. I suspected they shipped some of the extrusions with known damages based on the location of the dents and scratches.
Recommendation: Make sure to use a credit card with these guys and dont hesitate to file a credit card dispute if you suspect something is up. Have someone assist you with unboxing videos and take pictures.
Based on my experience i suggest signature required delivery if you wont be home.
Very Slow To Ship
There website says "order processing is 5-7 business days." I'm on day 17 and my order hasn't shipped. They gave me a tracking number a week ago, and sent an email that the order was shipped. USPS tracking says they are still waiting on the package. I would consider another company.
Pleasantly Surprised
I needed some hardware for my truck rack and Tnutz had the correct precut size in stock (Prinsu). Shipping was done in the posted timeframe of seven working days. You can't beat the price compared to other suppliers.

SUPER valuable service and very reasonable prices. all my orders have shipped fast, an I haven't had any dimensional issues. Tnutz beats the pants off of any other extrusion supplier.

Overcharged on shipping
When you are checking out they under quote you on shipping fees. It said shipping for me would be $80 to Utah (I had already entered my address). As soon as I clicked the button to confirm my order it took me to the order confirmation page where it had jumped by $60. I brought this issue immediately to their customer service and after a lot of back and forth they finally admitted that it did up charge and refunded me $40 of the increased $60. They did ship super fast. I even had custom cuts and still received my order within days. The quality of the extrusions seem really good.

Company ships quality products, fast and with great value. They are based in NY and ship from there as well. Very pleased with their response time, communication and turnaround. Have placed multiple orders and have received exactly what I ordered every time, with great packaging and care for the anodized aluminum parts to make sure the black facing was unblemished. Will use them again (likely multiple times).
What's not to like?
Reading other reviews prompted this, as well as my own tremendous experience. First of all, their return policy is clearly stated, that because orders are custom to the inch, there basically are no returns, so check yourself before you order, it's that simple.
In my case I was careful to order just what I needed, but the total price was so good that I decided I'd like to add something a day later. I emailed customer service on Saturday night, expecting no answer til the following Monday, but I got an answer a few hours later telling me that since I hadn't set up an account with saved billing info., they couldn't add to the previous order (they don't take credit card info over the phone, they have a secure service contractor for that). No biggie. I went back to their site, set up the account, saved the charge info and emailed them back what I had done and what I wished to add. Three days later I received a perfectly wrapped and protected package, and in spite of UPS's typical attempts to destroy, everything was intact and unharmed. The order had obviously been packed by someone who'd done it before and actually cared about doing a good (albeit minimalist) job. Nothing rattling around or poking out, and the parts that I ordered were about 50 lbs., so had it been Amazon, I'm certain it would have ended differently, as in with holes in the boxing and parts everywhere (been there done that).
In my previous life I used McMaster quite a bit for trade show exhibit builds, and they were good, but you paid for it. These guys were reasonably priced, prompt, and they accommodated a less than organized request to help me avoid paying for additional shipping. I call that a solid win, and I'm preparing another larger order as I'm typing this. I would add that their website made it pretty simple to figure out exactly what I needed, which is no mean thing since ordering specialty machined anything can be pretty dicey. This was just one rather small order, but so far I'm quite pleased. As for the canceling of custom cut orders, I can only surmise that expecting to be able to return such a thing is the result of someone having never been told no as a child. That or they're just business dumb. Go order a wedding cake and then try to cancel and see what ya get.
My bias: I have no affiliation with this company at all, and I've received nothing in consideration for this review, I'm just older and have very little patience with children.
Unfortunately it is a Chinese knockoff
I typically try to buy American when possible. there is nothing on the website regarding origin of manufacturing and got a run around when I called. Never trust a site that doesn't put an address on the website.
Worst Customer Service EVER
The pros:
- I got exactly what I ordered
- They processed the order in ZERO business days (Ordered Friday after 5pm, processed Monday before 8am) and I had it at my door within five days. Though this could be a con, since their customer service was never available during this time.
The cons:
- Their payment system charged my card twice, 12 seconds apart, created two identical orders, charged shipping twice, and processed the order before I ever had time to call customer service.
- For context, I had a $26 order with $15 shipping. I'm sure most orders here are way larger than that.
- I called on Monday, but they did not pick up the phone or return my call. I called on Tuesday, and went back and forth many times with Robert while being spoken at about how they had record sales, how the payment system doesn't make mistakes... instead of being listened to.
- They refused to fully refund me, despite me being willing to ship the extra parts back to them. They sent a very rude email to me claiming that I am responsible for the duplicate charges.
Thankfully common sense prevailed and I got a full refund, but Robert's customer service is the worst I have ever experienced with a company. All over a $26 order. So I imagine if their system mishandles your much more expensive order, they will be even worse to deal with.

Processing time is 4x longer than stated on their website (took 19 days to ship my order). Of course they charged me the day I placed the order. Customer service is simply horrible. Once I FINALLY got my order it was was missing nearly 10% of the parts I ordered

TNutz states on their website that orders take 5 to 7 days to process, and that is admirable that they state it up front, but I still don't like the fact that they charge your credit card up front then decide when they will process your order. 5 to 7 days is slower than virtually any other retailer providing the same materials and services.
Canceled order never refunded
More than a year ago, I placed an online order with Tnutz that, due to an unexpected emergency, I canceled by phone the same day. Although the person I talked to wasn't happy that I was canceling, he did cancel it.
My payment was never refunded and the order was never shipped. Checking the order status on their website shows "Pending". I've left several messages and written to get this straightened out but they've ignored every attempt.
Multiple orders, same satisfaction every time
Ordered from them after a few recommendations from the Sprinter build Facebook groups. Turnaround time isn't the fastest but they clearly state this on their website and this isn't Amazon after all.. it's custom cut material in most cases. I've ordered on 4 or 5 separate occasions now in varying dollar amounts and I've had the same great experience every time. The shipping is predictable and the products are quality stuff. On my most recent order I had grabbed about $2,000 in extrusions and various hardware and then a subsequent order for some stuff that I forgot. I had asked if they could process the supplemental order with the first so I didn't have to wait a few days and delay my van build any longer. They processed them as requested without delay and got me ready to go. I will happily continue purchasing extrusions for any further builds from the company.
Just don't
I called Tnutz on the phone prior to placing an order. I'm glad I did. The person on the phone was dismissive, rude, and not knowledgeable.
Following up with my own research, I found that Tnutz material is significantly weaker than other mainstream manufacturers as well.
I promptly ordered from 80/20. My order arrived in 3 days, not the 2 weeks or more quoted my Tnutz.
You really do get what you pay for.

Made a few orders with them. Just with those few orders, I've seen many issues. Processing time for very small orders have taken longer than the 7 days they promise. I've also had multiple times where they sent me the wrong hardware and had to source hardware somewhere else at an additional cost to me. So that I can get my project done and not have to wait for them to respond and ship replacements. When addressing issues they have proven to be unresponsive at times. I just placed an order and 8 days later I'm finally getting a delivery date. I'm literally waiting on one piece to finish a project. One piece of profile takes half a month to get to a customer in the same time zone. This seems ridiculous to me. Even during these times. I've order other materials from other ecommerce sites, some on the other side of the country. Those came within the same week.

Come on guys . Take an air hose and blow off the excess machined material.
Other then that fasteners are similar and cheaper compare to the competitors.
