Hi Joséphine,

We’re sorry to hear that the Magnetic Wall Board came off your wall and understand how disappointing that must have been, especially after you were excited to set it up.

When you contacted us, we responded promptly and asked for some additional information so we could better understand what was affecting the adhesion.

Although the wall may look smooth, the type and finish of the paint can still affect how well an adhesive bonds. We also asked whether the included 12 × 12 cm sample had been tested on the wall, as this can help determine whether the surface is suitable before applying the full board.

We also shared our setup and wall-compatibility guidance, including the recommended hairdryer method, and asked for the sample result so we could advise you more accurately. As we haven’t received a further reply, we haven’t been able to determine what may have caused the issue.

We’re sorry that this experience has been disappointing, and we hope the information we provided helps clarify the steps we took to assist with the issue.

Hello Madeleine,

We’re truly sorry that the Magnetic Wall Board and magnetic pieces did not work as you expected.

Upon checking, after you sent us the videos, our team reviewed the issue and confirmed that the Rings & Blocks were not holding. We apologized for the problem and offered you a refund for that product, which was subsequently initiated.

When you later reported the issue with the Magnetic Wall Board itself, we also reviewed your concern and wanted to make sure we could provide you with a suitable resolution.

Even though the standard return period had passed, we offered you the choice of a 30% partial refund if you wished to keep the board, or a full refund once the board was returned to our warehouse. You chose the full refund option, and we provided the return instructions and warehouse details so we could proceed with the refund once the board was received.

We’re genuinely sorry that the product did not provide the experience you were hoping for, Madeleine. We appreciate you giving us the opportunity to look into both concerns and work toward a resolution.

Merci d'avoir pris le temps de nous faire un retour aussi détaillé. Nous sommes ravis d'apprendre que la livraison, l'échantillon et le miroir vous ont donné satisfaction.

Nous sommes toutefois désolés d'apprendre que les formes en bois n'ont pas répondu à vos attentes en matière d'adhérence. Pour une tenue optimale, nous vous recommandons de vérifier que la surface magnétique et le dos des pièces sont propres et secs avant utilisation. Pour les pièces les plus grandes, les placer à plat contre le mur plutôt qu'à la verticale peut également améliorer la stabilité.

Regarding our 30-day guarantee: we’d like to clarify that it does cover opened and used products. If the decal didn’t work for you, we would happily have issued a refund regardless of whether it had been tried.

We’d like to clarify what ‘risk-free’ means in our guarantee: we accept returns on used products, which goes beyond what most brands offer. Return postage is the customer’s responsibility, as outlined in our policy — this is separate from the guarantee itself and is a standard industry practice.

Regarding the wall: our instructions specifically recommend using a hairdryer to warm the decal before moving or removing it. Skipping this step significantly increases the risk of paint damage, especially on walls with older or weaker paint.
