My first use of the pan was to fry…Fried Eggs
My first use of the pan was to fry eggs. I used a tiny bit of oil and made sure the heat was low. After cooking, I wiped the pan with a white tissue before washing. A black film appeared on the tissue. I was concerned. I fried eggs again and used butter. No black film on tissue. Yesterday I cooked a hamburger and used oil again. Black film again. It seems that when I use oil there is a black film?? However, I LOVE my new frying pan! Just knowing it is a "safe product" is wonderful! Has anyone else mentioned this black film? What you’re describing can occasionally happen during the first few uses of brand-new cookware and is usually related to residual oils or seasoning residue interacting with cooking oils. A thorough wash before first use and a few cooking cycles normally resolve this completely.

Im very happy with my new pan
After a very long wait for my pan to arrive and having to put the handles on myself (not too difficult) I find that I am very happy with it. I followed the instructions for first use and I've had some excellent culinary results. It doesn't stick at all and cleaning is a breeze. All in all im very happy 😊

The only reason this isn't a 5 star is…
The only reason this isn't a 5 star is because it really wasn't clear enough for me how much oil to use to season the pan for the first time. I must have not used enough, because my eggs stuck to it for the first use. Otherwise I am so happy to use something that will last and not add toxins to food.

Very happy so far, the pans look great and no sticking eggs. No hassle, no horrible coating. They feel solid, should last a lifetime if looked after.

The pan performs exactly as advertised…
The pan performs exactly as advertised ,well constructed easy to clean. The only issue I had is that one of the gaskets that goes between the pan and the handle was missing

Seriously the customer care of this…
Seriously the customer care of this company is a joke. Despite emailing them multiple times regarding refund process, no reply from them. Now I am absolutely certain that this is a hoax company. These guys are selling expensive but poor quality, used metal pan in unlabelled cardboard boxes, completely unassembled with no booklet for instructions. I am absolutely certain that the Pan will not turn out to be titanium if tested. These guys are scammers and should be reported to appropriate authorities.

Dangerous pan lid and shocking customer “care”
My issues are more with the lid I bought with the pan, and Titan’s Kitchen’s“Customer Care”.
The pan arrived with the pan handle and lid handle in a separate box. My partner fitted them carefully.
The very first time we used the pan (on low-medium heat), within a minute or two the lid handle shot off into the air at considerable speed and force. The immediately the lid shattered all over.
Fortunately, the lid handle flew away from me. I was standing in front of the stove, so if it had projected at me it could have gone straight into me eye.
I immediately emailed Customer Care to say what had happened, attaching a photo of the shattered lid.
They sent me another one, this time with a broader metal rim than the first one. But no handle for the lid.
I emailed again, asking where the handle was.
They replied as follows:
“ We have checked with our team, and as per the assessment, only the lid was reported as damaged. Based on this, a replacement lid was shipped to you.
Regarding the handle, it is not included with the replacement as it was not identified as a faulty or missing part at the time. If you would like us to arrange a new handle for you, we can certainly assist with that; however, it would require an additional cost.”
I am shocked that “Customer Care” expect me to re-use a lid handle which was clearly dangerous and which could easily have caused physical injury (which would have been Titan’s Kitchen’s fault).
And now they expect ME to pay for a new handle and shipping! What kind of customer “care” is this?
My advice is to steer clear of this company and its products - for your own safety.

The pans are nice but after reading the…
The pans are nice but after reading the small booklet, the pans are not titanium but stainless with aluminum and a top coating of titanium. What this means is that need to be very very careful with them. I do not know where the aluminum is but that is likely a dangerous contaminant if the food gets in contact. Otherwise, I love the pans. I just wish they were 100% titanium.

Our pan has a three-layer composition. The only part that ever comes into contact with your food is the pure titanium cooking surface. We do not make the pan 100% titanium, because titanium on its own is a poor heat conductor. The aluminum core is there to provide fast, even heat distribution, and the stainless steel base makes the pan induction compatible. Again, the only material that will ever touch your food is titanium, so no need to worry.

I bought 3 fry pans
I bought 3 fry pans. For the first pan, I did everything to the T wrt the seasoning but it was a fail. The egg got stuck and I was super disappointed. I managed to get the stuck food off and complained to Titan's. Reply came with a different set of instructions and it worked!
For pan no 2, after the first wash and dry, I kept rubbing the pan with oil until no more grey stuff appeared on the tissue. Next, heat it on a gentle heat, add 1 teaspoon of avocado oil, heat on low for 2min, turn off heat and wipe off oil. The second pan was FANTASTIC. Egg just glided off. So, I feel that the company should revise their seasoning instructions.
After all this, I would recommend this product.
