Timberline and Margaux Hill in particular are miracle workers. I am 56. My tax problems began over ten years ago when I was a high earning litigation partner at a "big firm." Went through cycle of marital separation and alcohol abuse and ignored growing tax problem until the IRS began raiding my and wife's accounts and seeking to foreclose my home. As someone used to dealing with other people and business's high stakes/dollars problems, I CANNOT say enough good things about Margaux. Compassionate and whip smart. Joe Stroup was able to resolve our tax issue with the IRS. We first engaged Joe over the tax issue while he was at another firm. He successfully resolved the issue then but almost 10 years later the IRS attempted to revive the issue. We were able to locate Joe at Timberline and he was to address our problem with the IRS immediately because of the past resolution. He worked on the problem and was able to once again resolve the IRS issue.

Joe Stroup is the Man!!! I’ve had nothing but a great & positive experience(s) working with Joe Stroup the past 9 months. Joe has taken a certain IRS Agent, who is way too inexperienced, to task for targeting me, drumming up false and out of date IRS Codes. Had I ever tried to do this myself (like I first tried to do - going direct to the IRS) my wife and I would have had to file for BK last fall.
Joe wouldn’t and hasn’t allowed that to happen. He’s negotiated on our behalf a very fair settlement offer to the IRS, one that we can comfortably afford and one that we are legally entitled to.
