I could not recommend TCR Builders more .
Neal came to measure up and give me a quote to replace my old conservatory clear roof .
After a few other quotes they were by far the most impressive, showing us the product and examples of their work as well .
The new roof was planned for last October 25 but due to personal issues on our part it was postponed until February 26.
They came at the date and time as agreed and it was terrible wet cold weather but they carried on.They were incredibly hard working ,professional and courteous at all times .
The finished roof inside and out is amazing ,we had lights put in the ceiling and a skylight so the ceiling and walls had to be plastered,again amazing young man who did such a great job of the plastering.
There is so much praise for various aspects of the who job of which I just cannot thank or recommend them enough.

We have a 20yr old conservatory which leaked so how do you find someone to replace the glass roof with a traditional tiled roof?
We chose TCR Building solutions and couldn't have been more pleased.
When I made the initial enquiry the telephone call was answered immediately by Neil, a director, and an on site appointment organised there and then. An explanation of what to expect within the construction, the insulation properties and materials to be used was supplied by Neil. He also gave us a start date and the expected time frame that the project would take.
Neil and Tony arrived on the date expected and completed the work within the specified time. They were always polite and left the site tidy at the end of each working day. The standard of workmanship is excellent and the finished result is far better than we could ever had imagined. Their attention to detail within the construcion was impressive.
I would have no hesitation in recommending this company if you require a new conservatory roof finished to the highest standard.

I’d like to thank Tony,Neil and Jack for the work done to re tile my lean to conservatory roof. It’s a first class job, given me peace of mind with a watertight roof (which it wasn’t) and transformed a shabby looking roof into a smart, tidy roof with a guarantee of no leaks
They stripped the existing tiles, that over time were not fit for purpose, added new insulation, boarded with OSB timber, replaced the Velux flaunchings and fitted new tiles. On the inside between the top of the windows and the ceiling they added extra insulation and repaneled to give a very smart look. And all with absolute minimal disruption to the internal plastered ceiling.
The guys were a pleasure to have working for me and I would certainly have no hesitation in recommending them

I don't know what to say as I think most previous reviews say it all but here goes. Firstly would I use Tony and Neal again? Without a doubt.
From our first contact with them they set a standard so high you would think they will never maintain this. Well they did. From planning, workmanship, communicating, advising and work ethic they set the bar so high. Made the whole experience of replacing our conservatory from the dwarf wall upwards and with a solid roof pleasurable. Looks outstanding.

The task was taking down the old conservatory to base brick wall and disposal, fitting new conservatory with solid tiled roof. Neal and Tony were fantastic from start to finish. From their presentation when quoting (especially their recycling ethos) right through to the end product with exterior lighting. We were so lucky to have chosen them and extremely pleased with the result. Nothing was too much trouble and we cannot recommend them highly enough.

Tiled Conservatory Roofs Ltd (TCR) have completely transformed my conservatory into a garden room by replacing the old polycarbonate roof with a solid tiled roof which has state-of-the-art insulation. The old cliché of it being too cold in the winter and too hot in the summer was exactly right. So much so, that the room was never used and, worse, the temperature in the conservatory used to permeate into other parts of the house. There was an immediate benefit in that, even with the radiators turned off, the conservatory now feels much warmer. Neal and Tony worked solidly from Monday to Friday, in some cases 11-hour days and finished the building work one time. They were friendly and efficient and nothing was to much trouble. Conner and Zack arrived a couple of days later and completed the plastering in a day and a half. I would not hesitate to recommend this company, although I would advise new customers to first buy shares in Twinings as their capacity for consuming tea was outstanding!

TCR have done the most amazing conversion of our conservatory. We had two clear requirements: the room must not feel or look like a conservatory, and it must be an excellent, all-year round living space.

Tony and Neal surpassed on both requirements, delivering a conversion that exceeded our expectations. Their workmanship is second to none, as is their work ethic; they are amazing craftsmen, true grafters, and really nice guys! They are extremely professional and take pride in every aspect of their work.

I had a single storey extension built in 2007 adjacent to my neighbours side, attached to a further 2 storey build. This room was approved as a Conservatory due to a 3 mtr window that ran along the neighbours side & a polycarbonate roof. Due to the extremeties of the UK weather the room was either an oven in the summer or a fridge in the winter; so was effectively a waste of space!
The polycarbonate roof had leaked for a few years & I wanted to have it replaced with a solid, tiled, fully insulated roof. I was aware of the large multi-national companies that offered this service, but most of them had several poor reviews online. I then came across Tiled Conservatory Roofs on Trustpilot & was immediately struck by the overwhelming number of positive reviews.
I contacted Neal & he arranged to visit to discuss my requirements & show me a sample of the roof profile & construction. I was immediately impressed by his extensive knowledge and experience. I was particularly impressed when he confirmed that he & his business partner would build my new bespoke roof on-site themselves. I was also delighted that the quote included the installation of new lights in the ceiling & a plaster skim (third party).
Neal & Tony completed the job over 3 days & I am absolutely delighted with the finished result. It is now newly decorated & furnished and is the room I had wanted back in 2007, but could not have then due to planning restrictions (ref type of roof). Neal came up with a new design for my roof & it required replacement of the long side window with a new replacement. Considering the quality of the materials used, the long days the 2 guys worked & what was included in the quote, I felt the price was competitive and fair.
I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending TCR as they are the personification of the the phrase "you get what you pay for".
I am now able to enjoy the hot sunny days in my new Garden room / home office & actually can't wait for this years winter to enjoy the room all year round.

We had endured a leaking, over heating conservatory for long enough, it had to be dealt with.
We came across TCR and can not fault them. They did a fantastic job for us. We are extremely happy with what was a room that we could only use for part of the year, which we now spend all our time enjoying. We already had underfloor heating and have fitted a small electric radiator which we have only used a couple of times when the weather was at its worst.
Tony and Neal could not have been more helpful, they offered advice and assistance for work in addition to the roof which all added to the positive experience of having the work done.
The roof has been in place almost a year now but we waited with our review because we wanted to see how the winter effected the way we used the room.
We thoroughly recommend these guys and would not hesitate to try and get them here agian if we needed more work done.

Delighted with our tiled roof. More like a garden room now - light and bright. Sun keeps it lovely and warm. Turn on the heating on cooler days. We have installed a tv and a corner sofa - lovely to eat in there and look over the garden. Any prospective buyers in the future could use it as a playroom or second sitting room for teenagers and their friends. Would recommend.

Really pleased with our excellent new roof for the conservatory. All done with no fuss and working long hours to get it done quickly. The work was well lubricated by huge amounts of proper builders tea. Great job.

Cannot praise Tony and Neal enough for their outstanding work to replace our polycarbonate roof to tiles. From first meeting to the finished roof, their professionalism has been second to none. Timekeeping spot on. On one occasion they were only going to be 10 minutes late, but Neal still informed me they were going to be late.
Yes, we did have a few problems, like the roof tiles and plasterboard not turning up when it should, but this was not due to them. Tony showed me the email from the company informing him of the delivery for that day. They were delivered the following day, but in order to complete the job on time, the guys worked until 8.00pm and 9.00pm in the evening, and back on site again for 8.00am the next morning.
They were both up and down from the roof to make slight adjustments if any of the tiles were not fitting perfectly. Think if I was doing it, for the little correction needed I would have thought it was good enough. You could see that they were both proud of their work.
The other problem was down to the plasterer. He arrived on site and within the hour had a phone call about a serious family problem. Obviously family comes first, but it put Tony and Neal in a predicament. They managed to get another plasterer to arrive two days later. Their work was very good, but we were disgusted with the state they left the conservatory and block paving in. Tony seemed embarrassed when he saw the mess, and he and Neal rolled up their sleeves and washed everything down. Think words will be said before they use that company again.
TCR were not the cheapest quote we received, but believe me they were a lot cheaper than the big well known companies that we ask for quotes. So pleased we went with Tony and Neal. Well worth paying that bit extra for a job that we are totally satisfied with. Would recommend them without any hesitation. Their expression on their faces when they had completed, told me that they were proud of the finished work.

Purchased a property 1 year ago which needed updating throughout. This had a lovely conservatory attached with a polycarbonate roof, which I was aware were not warm within the winter months so would need replacing. I went to task and changed my bathrooms, kitchen, flooring etc leaving the conservatory roof until last.
TCR (tiled conservatory roofs) have recently completed the roof work.
What a transformation. Neal and Tony arrived on time, were professional and polite and worked like trojans to get the work completed with minimal disruption to the property and my family. (Social distancing adhered too)
It was a pleasure to see their expertise in building something from scratch and watching each stage as the work progressed. I could actually see the thickness of insulation being fitted and they kindly explained how the new tiled roof would assist in regulating the temperature within the room. Winter and summer.
Two full days later, the roof was finished, everywhere left tidy and rubbish removed.
It looks amazing, it feels amazing and I am extremely pleased with the end result.
It has not been easy for me to renovate my home alone and I can honestly say that this is the best money spent.
I am now going to recommend TCR to all of my friends and family and if you read this review and need a new conservatory roof, I would highly recommend you give them a call.

Our conservatory roof had leaked for years but when the awful storms hit early in the year we knew we couldn't carry on doing small repairs,we contacted Tony and he and Neil came to give us a quote ,we thought them to be very professional and competent ,and this was reflected in their work.our conservatory is used as our dining area and is much more comfortable than before.the whole experience was hassle free therefore we would highly recommend this company to anyone.
