The website is an overload of ads. I wanted to check the tide and found myself in the middle of a toenail fungus ad. I am not using the website any more.

Historically really good with graphics.

Occasional glitches which are resolved quickly to credit of the developer.

Used daily in my role in coastal rescue.

Highly recommended.

Ad's take up more then half the screen and when you try removing it you get asked why and you select covering content it says thanks for the feedback and puts it straight back same ad

We wanted to check the tide in Sealand, Denmark, to go for a hike where a part is only accessible at low tide. The high tide shown on tideschart was off by 2.5 hours. Thankfully, we consulted another website before going. Otherwise, this horribly wrong information would have left us stranded on an island until the next low tide. I agree with the other people here, this website can put you in serious danger!

Every site gives different predictions for tide at a given location and often none of them match paper tide tables either. This one predicts slightly earlier tide times than most others for where I live (Can be almost identical or up to 50 mins different to a site with the latest predicted time). I swim somewhere where it is important to swim before the tide turns ...so I check this site plus another, because if I rely on the later prediction of another site, sometimes the tide does turn earlier and I've been caught out. This gives me an earliest predicted time and keeps me safe.
If someone has found a source of tide information that is bang on accurate at every location I'd love to hear about it because the reality is that it's not just moon and sun affecting tides, but also strong winds and atmospheric pressure, the impact of rivers and the shape of the coastline. Places close together can differ because the shape of the coast affects how water flows

I regularly use an accurate tide forecasting app, but thought I'd give Google voice search a go today, and it came up with tideschart.com.
Thank God I was only testing Google! The tide times and heights on this website, bore no resemblance whatsoever, to the real information. It's nothing but dangerous and should be taken down.

Terrible forecasting, i'm sure they just guess what the weather will be. I live 10yds from the coast in a popular fishing area in SW Scotland, I can see the weather from my window and often go out in my boat to fish. Tideschart has never once got the foreast right in 3 years. Do NOT trust this forecasting.

If I could give 0 stars I would. The only purpose of this website is to give you tidal information and it couldn't do that.
I went for coastal walk in Ceredigion, Wales and only consulted this website. It told me that the tide was going out so I walked for 30 mins along parts of the coast only accessible when the tide was low. This led me to reaching a point where I should have been able to go further but couldn't because, after checking a different source (RNLI), I found out that the tide was actually going up. I then had to scramble across rocks and wade through the sea to get back to safety. This website could have killed me and my father if the conditions were worse or we didn't check a different site. DO NOT USE THIS WEBSITE!
