Double charged
My husband had been a member for a couple of years. When his credit card was compromised, he went into the car wash and updated his payment information. Unfortunately, the old card wasn't removed from the account, and when the credit card company automatically transferred recurring charges to the new card, we ended up being charged twice every month for 10 months.
When we brought this to their attention, the only resolution they offered was a refund for 3 months of the duplicate charges, leaving us to absorb the other 7 months. After being a loyal customer, that was extremely disappointing.
Mistakes happen, but how a business responds is what matters. In our case, it didn't feel like customer service was a priority. We cancelled our membership and hope others don't experience the same issue.
