I wouldn’t recommend trusting Thistle with pre-orders. I placed a pre-order on 29 October and waited until the release date on 18 December. During that time, I saw the item available in several other stores — and at a lower price — but since I had already pre-ordered, I decided to wait. On 17 December, just one day before release, I received an email along with a refund saying they couldn’t fulfil the order. Now the item is out of stock everywhere and only available on other reseller websites at much higher prices. Do yourself a favour and avoid using this store for pre-orders. If they can’t guarantee stock, they shouldn’t offer pre-orders. When I placed mine, the item was listed as “5 in stock,” so I can only assume several other orders were cancelled as well.

Amazing store that was able to host an event while maintaining shop operation. Did not feel cramp with capacity occupying space available. Plenty of stock available to browse between rounds and friendly staff to chat for more information. Will include in future visits to the area.

Have spent many a night at thistle tavern, the store is well stocked with many different games and card games with a bunch of friendly staff that always do there best to help and guide its customers to that on which they seek. Highly recommend thistle tavern plenty of events and plenty of opportunities to play something in house whether you are new to games or returning to a hobbie once enjoyed.

I like to pop into Thistle almost every time I visit Aberdeen. The staff are always incredibly friendly and helpful, probably that best part of the shop 😊 They have a very large range of booster packs and board games. They also sell plenty of singles for just about any cards 🙏
