I recently popped into the Nottingham branch of The Wheel Specialist and had a chat with a fine chap about getting an 18" Audi A3 alloy wheel re-diamond cut to clean up some scuffs and white worm. The quote I received was £150 which I was very pleased with.

A few days later I got a call from James who told me my wheel was ready to be collected and looked "like new". When I popped back in later in the week I was truly delighted with the job they had done and James was there for me to thank in person. Overall my experience at The Wheel Specialist was excellent and I can see why they have so many positive reviews.

Faultless, from my initial contact to collecting my wifes VW Golf (I can't believe I kerbed). Excellent communication, friendly service and the wheel was perfect.

Very disappointed with the Nottingham depot. Took a pair of motorcycle wheels in to be powered coated white. I gave them specific instructions to NOT coat certain areas and when I went to pick them up, yep, they had coated the whole area that I said not too. All I got was "well I’ll have to do the whole job again to put it right " in a very unapologetic manner. I would NOT recommend this place and I certainly won’t be going back.

The wheels on my Mercedes ML 350 were looking a bit tatty and a bit on online research came up with The Wheel Specialist in Nottingham. What a find! The wheels look factory-fresh after a complete strip and respray, and new tyres were fitted all-round, too. Fantastic workmanship, a great price and an absolute pleasure to deal with. Cannot recommend them highly enough.

Took my sons car on a Thursday afternoon and it was ready the Friday lunchtime, very good service and the results were exceptional .
Wanted black gloss and they were perfect.

Excellent customer relations

After shredding a tyre using a pothole, my wheel was "bad" according to another garage but couldn't say more. One phone call to TWS and I was booked in a week later for what they presumed the problem would be (wheel buckling), which was done quickly and the car is no longer juddering!

Any future wheel issues I will be returning.

BMW wheels got damaged when new tyres fitted causing the top finish to start peeling away. Contacted these guys and James was brilliant at sorting appointment and getting the work done. Turns out one of wheels damaged by a pot hole (good old Notts roads 🙄) and guys fixed this within the price. Great service and superb workmanship. Car booked in again as front near side also damaged from another pothole.

Wanted my wheels freshening up since the lacquer had started flaking off a few months after buying from new, took them down to the local wheel specialist who said no problem with having them powder coated, decided on finish/colour and dropped them off a few days later, well impressed with the finish and they still look clean after a few runs out,would deffo recommend

Great service and communication

James recommended and ordered me some new winter tyres. Once they arrived I booked an appointment and his team fitted them on my steel wheels, replacing and disposing of the old ones.
They then fitted my standard alloys back onto the car, all in an hour and a half whilst I went for a walk.
Great service.

All very straightforward to arrange and did a great job.

James is very knowledgeable in this field and very helpful. Explains everything you need to know, no pressure. Job completion on time. Use this place with confidence.
