Weight Loss Doctors is a medical weight loss clinic. Our clinics are run by doctors and we are fully regulated and registered with the healthcare inspectorate Wales and the home office for your safety and assurance in our treatments. Our objectives: We aim to offer a comfortable craving and hunger free weight loss program individualised to you. We are dedicated to your weight loss goal because when you achieve that, we have achieved our purpose. What do we do? We are an independent clinic that provides weight loss treatment by one of the doctors who will offer to prescribe you (if safe to do so) slimming tablets or slimming injections depending on what you decide together with the doctor.

Had lazer fat loss had 9/10 sessions…

Had lazer fat loss had 9/10 sessions and missed last appointment due to bumping my car, I heard nothing from them as id paid up front, I’m sure if I hadn’t they’d have been on the phone to see where I was x 2 of sessions done by receptionist who didn’t have a clue and had to read her phone for instructions to work the machine, absolutely no results, I emailed my issues as paid £400 for zero results and heard nothing .. don’t waste your money people it doesn’t work, very disappointing especially as no response from email that’s why I’ve done this review

Hello, Debbie, thank you for taking your time to write a review. To address your concerns, when signing up any non invasive laser treatment, the consent form is very clear that we cannot promise any results. The machine has great reviews from multiple clinics but equally there will certainly be individuals where the product will not work to meet their expectations. This is clearly documented in your consent form and by going ahead you accept this as a possibility. The normal RRP for the Emerald laser is usually £1600-£2500 and so luckily you where able to trial this treatment at an introductory price. I would also advise that often you would attend for your treatment post night shifts with a view that understandably you would be going to bed afterwards. I would like to stress that this is a non-invasive laser treatment for fat lipolysis and it does rely on drinking 2-3 litres of water immediately after throughout the day and ensuring you keep up some cardiovascular fitness on that day in particular, we use the power plate to get this process started but ideally a gym session or a brisk walk is advisable, as this will keep the lymphatics flowing and clear out dissolved fat. Where we have had good success with several clients this advice has been followed. I of course understand that with your lifestyle this may not always be possible but without following the complete protocol it is difficult to achieve expectations.
To address your concern regarding your missed appointment, I have asked my reception Darcey to have a look and see when you had made contact as I am not aware of this, she will have a look through her emails and phone and you are of course welcome to complete your last session, I can only apologies if we have missed your contact. In terms of your comment that the reception, Darcey had set the machine up twice 'with no clue', I would respectfully disagree, Darcey has been trained to run the machine, as it is a low level laser, it is perfectly acceptable for her to set this up and this allowed us to book you in with more flexibility as it does not need to be doctor operated procedure. With regards to your comment that she had to use her phone, this is appropriate if she felt the need to ensure that was following the instructions clearly. As it is a new product in our clinic Darcey and the doctors may consult the procedure manual at any time without feeling pressured to memorise operating procedures to ensure everything is done correctly.
I hopefully will continue to have the privilege of seeing you in clinic but if not I wish you all the best with your weight loss journey (and I hope your car is ok!).

I have been visiting the Cardiff Clinic…

I have now had three visits to the weight loss clinic and the service has been great every time. I have always been given time to ask questions and get advice. After struggling to control my weight I finally feel back in control and am looking forward to reaching my goal.

Amazing

What made my experience great is the doctors are very friendly and know there stuff I started in September this year and since then I’ve already lost a stone and 11 pounds and not too far to go to my target weight the tablets are really good they stop cravings and slows the metabolism I am really enjoying my journey at the moment and I definitely recommend these to anyone who struggles dieting and struggle to loose weight they deffo do what the doctors say

I have tried losing weight on and off…

I have tried losing weight on and off for so long,and I never make any progress
I sated taking the weight loss tablets coming into my 3rd week an I have lost 9lbs and feel more energized, less tired and able to stop binge eating.
The staff are lovely and very helpful
Would definitely recommend

I have been taking these tablets for…

I have been taking these tablets for about 3 weeks and have lost over a stone just in 3 weeks and they are brilliant and I can really see the difference in myself and feel a lot more confident I recommended these if you are struggling with weight and dieting as they do what they say and I get 0 cravings at all and I’m actually enjoying eating healthy and can’t wait to get to my goal and the doctors are really lovely
