It’s ok, not great
The clasp area was ok. The film was not cut accurately at all for the main watch lugs. I have worked in the PPF industry and am pretty good and applying what is essentially PPF, but for a watch.

The product page photos of the Datejust 36 have the lugs and the rest of the kit applied so they should be the same as what can be seen in the photo.

A mixed result for me but I can see the…
A mixed result for me but I can see the benefit of the product.
I’ve sent both a message direct and via instagram with no response but understand people can be busy so I may still get one.
The product arrived as ordered and installed on a GMT Rootbeer.
I’ve watched the tutorial and a YouTube video of someone installing this on the same model so knew what to expect.
I spent two hours fitting the film and in some places it sits well and in others I find it’s a not quite right, my observations:
- the bracelet centre links as one piece are hard to install. For me I’d be happy with just a section to cover the polished parts. I feel this would sit better, be an easier install and also be less obvious.
- be careful when installing as any slight overhang on any edge will start to catch on clothing and you’ll have parts that lift, I’m already experiencing this.
- the sections that sit towards the underside of the bezel can be difficult to install. If not sat right any bezel rotation will cause these to lift.
In general I’m 50/50 with the product. Some sections could do with improvement but I may remove these and just manage with the bits I’m happy with for now and decide what to do long term. Remove the product and be cautious, try again or try an alternative product.

A Little Disappointed.
Took a few days after placing my order for TWPC to ship out the item. The tweezer provided in the install kit left a black mark on the sticky side of the protection film. Ended up wasting that piece. The film is also thinner compared to other watch protection film from another company. Not very pleased.

Great idea……BUT…….
fantastic design and simple to do and does stop you getting scratches looks invisible make sure you leave the watch 24 hrs to cure however after long periods of daily use I’ve noticed the edges do come up on certain corners due to clothing rub its mainly the clasp also very expensive for what they are my last order certain pieces were missing so check they are all there before you start i made this mistake did inform them when I ordered again but no offer of a refund or discount either which i was surprised at i have purchased another half set whilst on offer so i have a spare set ready.
(Half set protection only) not bezel and crystal.

Initially brought the clasp only protection kit for my DJ41 which was great so decided to get the lugs and side casing protection as well. Messaged them via instagram with a few queries and they responded swiftly. Overall great product and experience.

Datejust clasp
I ordered a clasp protection kit for my DJ36, very impressed with the kit, both in terms of protection and general fit and finish. I had a slight issue with one of the decals and immediately contacted customer services. Chloe was kind enough to send out a replacement set of decals asap which resolved my issue. I would highly recommend the decal kits.

Outstanding product. Purchased the Foam Cleanser and the Full Set for Tudor Black Bay Heritage 41. Very easy to apply and the cleanser works fantastically to prepare the watch.
Would definitely purchase again if more brands were supported in addition to Rolex, Patek Phillippe and Tudor.

Excellent service. Precise fitting on protection stickers. Speedy delivery. Customer service very helpful with any queries and dealt with in fine fashion. Presentation is second to non and probably overkill however it is a nice touch on opening. The cleaning brush is kept in the shower to keep my watches spick and span.

Despite having a few problems attaching the film with my timepiece, upon contacting The Watch Protect Company they were very swift addressing my concern and yes I was very happy that they assisted me right away. The protective film looks great on my watch now and I highly recommend their film for those who want to minimize the scraches and dings with their timepieces.
