Alex repaired my Habring watch, which I know from prior repair experience is an incredibly difficult job -- date (month, date, day), moon phase, jumping seconds -- that cannot be done by any workshop, only if trained by Habring. The watch needed parts repair (some parts wore out) and case brightening. Alex returned my watch to me ticking beautifully. He also went the extra mile to procure a replacement strap for the watch from Habring given I totally wore out the original.

I sent my Oris automatic diver in for repair in March 2023. I got the watch back on Monday 19/6/23. The repair took this long because one issue with the watch was hiding another, when the first issue was rectified the second problem came to light. The second problem required a part (crown) from Oris who are notoriously slow at sending spares. Hence the length of time the repair took. I have nothing but praise for Alex, he kept me informed about any progress (or not!) made with the watch & as soon as the part arrived he repaired & tested the watch as a priority. The delay was not of his making & I wouldn't hesitate to use him again.
The watch is back on my wrist, working well & keeping excellent time.

I came across The Watch Professional whilst looking for a watch repairer who was local to me. I wasn't expecting to put my watch in the post and send it over 200 miles to be repaired, but that's exactly what I did and it turned out to be a great decision. From start to finish Alex will keep you informed by email with accompanying photos about what is happening with your watch and is also happy to take phone calls to give a more detailed explanation where necessary. All this come at an excellent price. If you're reading this review and are debating as to whether or not to use The Watch Professional all I can say is don't hesitate. Just get your watch in the post, you won't be disappointed.

Excellent communication with Alex throughout the process and very happy with my watch which looks brand new following the service.

So far I've sent two watched to Alex. One for service the other for new hands and saphire glass. On both occasions I've been tremendously happy with the price, the service, attention to detail and correspondence.

I sent 3 watches to Alex. They were all losing 30/60 seconds per day. They are now all keeping within +\- 2 second a day.

Super impressed with his communication, speed and price. He’s also super knowledgable and will always happily talk about watches etc. You can tell he has a real passion for what he does.

Real quality service from Alex. Had my vintage Omega Seamaster Cosmic 2000 serviced and lightly refinished and despite a raft of issues, outside of his control, that kept cropping up, Alex was always really great at keeping me up to date and continuing to persevere with sorting everything out. On occasion, covering additional costs that he ran into along the way. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending The Watch Professional if you are in need of a quality service to your watch.

Alex serviced my Breitling SuperOcean, with an optional case brightening.

The watch looks like new, had regular updates and photos of the work he had carried out.

I would highly recommend using Alex, and will be sending my other watches when they are up for service.

Excellent job in replacing a quartz movement (after battery damage) with the additional problem of a damaged back plate caused by a previous 'repairer'. All the work done within the quoted time and good communication at all stages.

Again, brilliant, prompt service from Alex. He sorted my troublesome Girard Perregaux - a feat Swiss repairers had failed to achieve!

Alex provided a fantastic level of service. I was able to speak to him multiple times throughout the servicing of my father-in-law's watch, both on the phone and via email - something I haven't been able to do when sending my watches back to the manufacturer for servicing.

The watch is now running great and looks fantastic after a sympathetic case and bracelet brighten. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend Alex and look forward to dealing with him in the future.

Alex is a super star, sent my Tag Heuer over 20 years old, never serviced before and got back a piece that I barely could believe was my watch, what a stunning transformation! And ticks and tocks like new too.

I could not recommend The Watch Professional highly enough. He was prompt, courteous and eminently affable in our exchanges over email for the repair of my Grandfather's Tissot Seastar Seven (Manual) watch for which Tissot themselves were unable to accommodate.

The watch was finally returned safely in rigid zipped capsule case and has been functioning flawlessly for several months hence.
