I purchased a small Kamadosan Donabe & a steamer to accompany it. The items arrived well within the delivery time given with communication from Wasabi. However the donabe was the larger size & so the steamer didn’t fit. I contacted them by phone & they were super helpful. We made an arrangement for me to keep the donabe but to swap the steamer. The whole thing was sorted in 3 days. Really happy with product & service.

I ordered fresh finger limes, yuzu fruit and a buddas hand. All were of beautiful quality.

I also ordered a finger lime plant. This exceeded our expectations. Looking forward to planting it out in the spring.

Ordering was straightforward, delivery prompt and without problems.

Overall. Excellent service. I intend to buy more of their outdoor plants soon.

Ik wil graag mijn eerdere review even rechtzetten, het bleek allemaal een misverstand te zijn. De Yuzu Jam die ik had besteld kwam van Dutch Wasabi, een kleinere dochteronderneming van The Wasabi Company, en alles is uiteindelijk helemaal in orde gekomen. De klantenservice heeft snel en vriendelijk gereageerd, en het probleem is netjes opgelost. De jam zelf is heerlijk van smaak en van topkwaliteit. Ik bestel hier zeker weer!

I recently ordered a jar of Yuzu Jam from The Wasabi Company, but unfortunately my experience wasn’t great. The package arrived safely, but to my surprise, the jam was already two months past its expiry date. That’s quite disappointing, especially considering the price and my expectations for quality.
I hope this was just a one-time mistake, and that products will be checked more carefully before shipping in the future. It would be appreciated if someone could get in touch to offer a solution — such as a replacement or a refund.

Bought some red miso from the Wasabi company and it's superb. Pricey compared to the brands usually available in the UK but well worth it as it's unquestionably superior. Properly packaged and sent out quickly. My Eastern cooking has moved up a notch 😊

Easy to order, good packaging.
I was happy to give a uk company a try for a niche product, however, the wasabi powder j bought was very underwhelming. First use i thought i had done something wrong as j could barely feel any flavour. Second time i left it for longer as per instructions, but still i struggled finding flavour and taste, which is obviously not a normal occurrence with a food such as wasabi, which normally kicks you as soon as you take the first bite. I ordered a wasabi paste from amazon with thousands of good reviews and loved it. I am just back from japan and i must say that one was on par with the best wasabi eaten there. So all in all, the wasabi company fails to deliver the main point that their name suggests, ie a wasabi that can meet any minimal expectations.
i have not tried their fresh wasabi and to be honest i will not bother.

Simply can't rave enough about our recent first purchase from this marvellous supplier!!
We eat lots of sushi but only now could it be considered authentic thanks to The Wasabi Company!!
We will now finally be using freshly grated rhizomes for as many things as possible and we even got the honeyberry plants we wanted from them at the same time!! All products are of extremely high quality with the most amazing all round service, you honestly can't go wrong and we'll definitely be buying from them in the future!!!

Love this company, they sell great good quality products and is a favorite website for gifts and treats for myself. There's always a great range and I really like the fresh food options. I recieved some very healthy wasabi plants on my last purchase and the recipitant was delighted with them.

Poor customer service. I sent them an inquiry 2 years ago and they never bothered to reply. Their partner in the EU, supposedly, is severely lacking in options, and most of their products that I was interested in (plants, wasabi, Japanese fruit trees), are always showing out of stock. A disappointment all around.

I would love to have written a glowing review about the product as I have been looking to source wasabi for a very long time. Unfortunately, I cannot do so. The delivery/packaging/price was very good considering it’s so difficult to get *REAL* wasabi in the UK.

I took all 3 roots to my sushi chef and did a taste test with him. The underwhelming taste and texture were almost immediately realised. We still used them in each Nigiri and Uramaki but I don’t think I will be ordering the same root again. I will try the Japanese version if I do choose to purchase again.

I have given a 5* review as I do not like to damage company reputation as Trustpilot ratings can do. I have given 5*’s as all the positive aspects were delivered and MAYBE I just got a bad batch of the Wasabi.

Received my order very speedily and the items I received I am happy with however, one of the items was missing. I did email the company to explain but since have not received a response or the missing item.

I fully recommend the Wasabi Company for its superior choice of products and excellent service. I suggest you all try the wasabi mustard - but be prepared for the full wasabi hit! Amazing! Fresh flavours that inspire numerous culinary delights. I will certainly be regularly stocking up on all the staples; soy sauce, mustard, Japanese spices, yuzu and the rest! Thank you!

Fantastic company with incredible products. Highly recommended. Bought several unique presents for friends and family and they've gone down a storm with everyone asking where to get them!

We've been using the Wasabi company for several years now after seeing them appear on Countryfile. We first started out with the wasabi mustard, which we use with so many things when cooking (roast beef, roast pork, cauliflower cheese to name a few), and the lovely wasabi mayonnaise which goes extremely well with smoke salmon. More recently we've bought the smoked soy sauce which is another fantastic product and the Yuzucello is one of our favourite tipples in the house. Nothing but fantastic customer service and speedy delivery - highly recommend this wonderful company.

Very disappointed customer service. I ordered on 11Dec for someone’s bday present. Asked to deliver on 19th but was not sure if they can send on particular date so I wrote “if you cannot deliver on 19th, pls send on 18th.” I have to say I am not a native speaker. But I meant that the item should arrive on 19th. Because no one ask shops to send on particular date and arrive any day. It doesn’t make sense. So obviously I meant to arrive the item on 19th. However, they misunderstood and posted the item on 19th with 2nd class. Of course, it didn’t arrive on 19th. I emailed them and found out that the item was not posted soon after I ordered. I told them to ask me if they were not sure about my intention or English. They didn’t try to communicate with a customer at all and took words mistakingly. They said sorry and will refund. But they only made full refund when I emailed them second time. I was waiting enough. Then I noticed when they mentioned they would refund, they didn’t make process. They said the person in charge was on annual holiday but it seems like they have forgotten to make a process. To make matters worse, the recipient got the item today(9th Jan) finally and had to pay extra postage to royal mail!!!! Unbelievable. They didn’t even put right postage to send the item with2nd class. Not acceptable such a bad customer service. I felt so sorry for my sister in law. Getting a late birthday gift and had to pay extra postage. Hope they would give back her money immediately whatever she paid. I thought their products are not too bad but nowhere near great customer service compare to Japanese authentic company. So I am very disappointed. I will leave zero star if I could.

Brilliant company selling unique and exciting products. I had some trouble with the DHL delivery (missed delivery slots and damaged package), and Sofia at The Wasabi Company was incredibly patient and diligent in rectifying the situation. Very grateful and will definitely be shopping there again!

I recently bought Okinawa black sugar from The Wasabi Company.

Well packed, quickly delivered, and exactly as described. As someone with a series of vendettas against various shockingly awful companies it gives me great pleasure to praise this one.

Bought plants back in April and they are doing really well

The products are of such good quality, you can tell the difference, great flavours, and the miso is so delicious I could eat it straight out of the tub. Delivered very promptly, I have been ordering for a while now, all first class.
