Booked four days in advance and then canceled two days before by TripGuru, allegedly because of the weather, although the weather is perfect on Ko Samui and how can you refer to the weather two days before, something is wrong.

I really had an enjoyable, educational and culturally rich trip today. The guide was awesome and gave us an informative account of various temples. This gave a better understanding of history of Bali.

Thailand 12 hour tour . Paid for Driver and extra "English Speaking " "GUIDE" . Guide could not understand ENGLISH LANGUAGE! We barley understood 25% of whatever came out of the "guide's mouth." Constant asking "guide" to repeat himself during the first hour we simply gave up. Absoluty worthless "guide" Had no knowlege about area we toured!!. The info he mentioned in route was "temple on Mountain" as we passed by. GUIDE was snoring in front seat of car on return! . Simply frustrating and worthless. Contacted "TRIPGURU" online the day before to confirm reservation They were RUDE in conversation.

Avoid this company! Ripoff. poor poor poor experience

The tour was supposed to last 11.5 hours but it only lasted 8.5 hours so we lost 3 hours which is a third of the tour ! The guide rushed us at every stop, we barely had time for walking around at our pace, a toilet stop or souvenir shopping which I had to beg for. The guide kept asking us to leave only a 5 star review, sending us the link via WhatsApp. The day before he texted me at 11 pm which is not professionnal at all. Of course they denied my refund request and blocked me so I couldn't leave a review on Viator.

Tour Bangkok Pattaya , Feb 2024 war OK, darum wiederholt mit weiteren Personen am 18.1.2025 über getyourguide GYGMX5A67FFN, haben dabei einen sehr schlechten Guide erwischt, schlechtestes Englisch, 50 min Verzögerung schon bei der Abfahrt, auch wegen miserabler Kommunikation, Später weitere Probleme damit. Haben für Speedboot bar bei ihm voll bezahlt, Rückfahrt war wetterbedingt nur mit billigerer Fähre möglich, den Differenzbetrag hat sich der Guide eingesteckt, am Ende des Tages hat er dann extra noch auf Trinkgeld bestanden, und mit 10% Discount bei 5 Sterne-Bewertung gelockt ..., Bitte Tripguru and Getyourguide verifiziert eure Guides, so geht's nicht.

The Khao Yai National Park Tour was great, the guide Angie was very well informed and extremely friendly. I would definitely recommend!

We book a day trip with this company and we set our hotel as pick up point that was only possible to set as the hotel was within the allowed area. After that we received 2 emails and chat messages confirming the pick up and saying for us to wait inside the hotel for the guide.
On the day of the trip, no one came. short after the pick up defined hour, we received a call from the guide asking where we were. It turned out that they were expecting us to be at a meeting point far from were we were , at a specific boat pier, however we were at the pick up point defined and confirmed by them in the reservation. Even so, after they mistake, we told him that we could pick a boat to get to them , however they said that everyone was already there and that they couldn’t wait. They even called the office on their side and after stated that we should call the office by ourselves to solve this as they couldn’t pick us here after all neither wait for us to go there.

After requesting a refund they said we couldn’t be refund because we put an incorrect pick up place - this is a lie! We sent google maps printscreens to them and all the evidences of their mistake. They kept lying in the email sent saying that the guide was on our location and bla bla bla. We had the hotel staff with us and they can confirm all these lies as well. The even put the hotel staff talking with the guide in Thai to try to be more clear.

Their behaviour and client support is not acceptable. Worst company I ever booked with. Never again

We book a trip. They accepted the pickup location, and in the day of the trip they were not there to pick us up. After, we told them we could go to a new pickup location and they told us that they would not wait for us. They also didn’t refund. Scam artists.

DO NOT BOOK THIS TRIP!!

Booked this trip with pickup at the hotel at 7.50. Arrived here 7.40 in the reception waiting for the driver. At 8.30 they called me saying that the driver was on his way.
No Update or driver.
At 9.30 i get in touch with the trip operator. They tell me that the driver was there and unable to find me. He has not been here. I am staying in MW Krabi hotel - the exact location as I informed the tour operator. I went out on my own trip at 10.00 and now the tour operator is asking for photos with time stamps from when I ARRIVED (?!) to the reception?

This has really been a frustrating experience for me. Getting up early to make this trip, not eating breakfast because I was supposed to getting picked up early. No actual update or estimation of time from the operator. Only update was at the end that the driver was unable to find me. Why didn’t the driver call me when he was here? Seems suspicious and like the operator is making up stories.

I would love to say thanks to the company first, and a super thanks to our guide mr. Thananat Inburi that is made our journey to Doi inthanon national park very interesting, but the best thing is where my mind get fascinated for The old village of coffe and tea producer.
I really enjoy their home made coffee and tea.

I recently went on the Doi Inthanon tour with our fantastic guide, Banana, and it was an unforgettable experience! I have joined a couple of tours in Bangkok and Chiang Mai with TripGuru and the services are excellent. The tour guides are great story teller and I learnt quite a lot about their personal life and their local culture.

I first noticed them on Getyourguide and they have thousands of good reviews but in the end I booked directly at their website as I found a coupon code. The booking process is smooth and the pick up is on time.

The train market is definitely the highlight for me and the tour guide helped taking a video of me when the train is coming.

Overall, I have very good experience with them and would recommend their services to others. It’s also good value for money as a solo traveller

Fraudulent company…

Tripguru is the worse your company…

I booked a tour in Bali… and specifically sent an email to confirm that I will be returned to my hotel by 6 pm… because I had prebooked a 6:30 pm airport transfer… and Bali traffic is no joke and you must leave on time…

Tripguru responded that I would be back on time by 6 pm…

So I go on the tour and confirm with the driver… and the driver says that I will get back at 8:30 pm and miss my flight…

It was a group tour and so I even tried to stay on the tour but every person had to agree to do the Ubud rice fields last and go far east first… I was even willing to pay for my own taxi from Ubud back to Denpasar AT MY OWN EXPENSE…

Unfortunately, one of the passengers was adamant that she wanted to do the Ubud rice fields first… and so I had to leave the tour before it started…

And here is the Fraud and Scam part… the company refused to issue a refund even when I have written proof that they responded saying I would be back by 6 pm in time to catch my flight…

I booked through GetYourGuide and they refunded their 30% cut… but TripGuru is a fraudulent company and still has not refunded the money…

I could do a bank chargeback with all the written evidence that I have on this… but that would also harm GetYourGuide who gave me a refund on their part…

So I am instead just warning everyone not to work with TripGuru…

The problem is that TripGuru I found out is based in the Philippines and not Bali… so their customer service doesn’t even know anything about Bali…

I recently booked the "Krabi: White Temple, Emerald Pool & Hot Springs Tour" with GetYourGuide, and my experience was marred by significant issues related to communication, unexpected itinerary changes, and a concerning lack of accountability.

The day before the trip, the activity provider changed the itinerary without providing adequate notice. Instead of visiting the Tiger Cave, we were taken to a random temple. What's most frustrating is that none of us were consulted about this change or given an opportunity to express our preferences for an alternative. 6 out of 8 participants, including myself, complained, and when we requested at least transportation to the Tiger Cave, we were left stranded on the main road, forced to arrange our own taxi rides to the cave and back to our hotels—services that were initially included in the price.

Adding to the frustration, the communication from both the activity provider and GetYourGuide was severely lacking. Despite the incident that prompted the change happening two months prior, the notification was sent just 48 hours before the trip. As a traveler on holiday, I can't be expected to check emails daily, and it's disappointing that neither the activity provider nor GetYourGuide made any effort to contact me through alternative means, such as a phone call or text message.

What's particularly concerning is that, despite booking my trip through GetYourGuide, I never received any notification about the change through the app or via email. It's as if they intentionally neglected to ensure we were aware of the alterations to prevent cancellations.

Moreover, GetYourGuide and the activity provider altered the schedule and reduced it by 3 hours (!!!) with no alterations in the price. This drastic change in the tour duration was not only inconvenient but also misrepresented the value we paid for.

Despite these challenges, when I requested a partial refund for the additional costs incurred to arrange transportation back to my hotel, GetYourGuide refused. This refusal, despite acknowledging the inconvenience caused and the fact that we paid for services not rendered, reflects a concerning lack of accountability and customer care.

This lack of communication, accountability, and consideration for customers is unacceptable. The impact of these changes on our travel plans was significant, and the indifference displayed by both the supplier and the activity provider is disheartening. I hope that this review serves as a cautionary note for future travelers considering GetYourGuide for their experiences. Communication is key, and in this case, it was sorely lacking.

We booked a trip in Bali with a guide. The guide did not showed up. We were left alone for the whole trip. Completely disappointed.
