Very peculiar customer service experience with this company (courtesy Beth), sufficiently unprofessional and helpful to put me off. Having seen some of these reviews, I’m now glad. I would not recommend if you are looking for a helpful planner to reassure you and provide you with a good understanding of what is being proposed!

Thank you for sharing your feedback about your experience with our Events & Partnerships Team. We are extremely surprised and disappointed to read your comments and can only apologise that you were left feeling like this.
Having looked through the correspondence with Beth, I can see that you requested PDF copies of the quotes, unfortunately this is not something we have in place, so Beth was unable to provide this. As Beth explained, all the information regarding the accommodation and activities could be found in the online Quote Hub, where full details regarding each element are available in advance of any booking. Beth did also offer to call you to talk through the proposed itinerary as she felt that this would have been beneficial for you considering your requests.
We pride ourselves on our excellent customer service and the thousands of 5* reviews we have received over the years, nevertheless, we are sorry that this was not your experience on this occasion.
In closing, we appreciate your feedback and hopefully we can consider an option in the future to assist with sharing the information in a different format to the rest of the group.

There is far better stag companies to go look elsewhere if i were you!
Every activity had something go wrong. Sold us a boat trip, turned out to be Daves little sailing boat, way too small, boardering on dangerous, strippers left the stag bleeding then the company just said 'nothing we can do'. Aftercare is shockingly bad so you best hope it all goes to plan!

Hassle free Stag planning
Organised my brother's stag in Newcastle through these guys and could not have one fault. Great range of activities. We went with karting which was a big hit with all the lads. Hotel was perfectly located, walking distance to all the best pubs / clubs. Easy and straightforward payment plan too. I dealt with Sean mostly who was always prompt in responding to any queries I had.

The limo was booked for a specific time and unfortunately due to the significant delay of your flight, the provider had already committed to another group for the revised time slot and was unable to accommodate your group. We understand that this situation may have been frustrating for you.
In order to provide an alternative solution, our Ground Agents arranged mini bus transfers for your group instead. While we understand that this may not have been the exact experience you were expecting, we tried our best to ensure a smooth transition for your group.
Our providers are paid in advance and as the flight delay was not communicated until late in the day, they were unable to re-sell the slot to another group. By offering a refund the provider would be taking a loss by no fault of their own.
As mentioned, in the full response to your Group Leader, we would be happy to provide a proof of payment letter, should the group wish to claim on their travel insurance due to the flight delay.
We genuinely value your feedback and we hope that notwithstanding the above, your group enjoyed their time in Prague.

Terrible experience beginning to end
Terrible experience beginning to end. The only thing The Stag Company were on it with, was collecting money. They upsold £1000 worth of limo transfer without communicating that money would be lost should the flight be delayed. Their rep who was supposed to stay with the stag crew disappeared almost immediately. The response from the 'Aftercare Team' ... we understand you're disappointed

Stag in Bristol
Stag coming from Ireland. Made contact with the company as I was unsure of numbers. Paid a deposit while the numbers were paid. Was given loads of notice of payment deadlines. Any questions we answered quickly and when we landed everything was set up with accommodation. Made life alot handier.

Simple and easy
Beth was amazing at organising 15 of us to go to Prague, the dates changed as well as numbers and activities but it was never an issue for Beth, she was more than happy to help an even had a joke about it all. The whole trip was amazing and our tour guide was great. Paintballing was amazing, steak dinner was unreal and pub crawl was hilarious.
Overall its a simple process, great value and couldn't recommend enough.

Late add on
I was a late add on to my friends stag do. Sean was there to help me get added on straight away. He was very responsive and attentive. He helped with getting me on as quickly and efficiently as possible with keeping the cost at more than reasonable rate. Thank you Sean

Efficient and Accommodating
Using the Stag Company was fantastic for someone as disorganised as myself. Our group in particular were completely useless at planning, so lots of changes were made throughout which was not the easiest thing to fix on the website, however our stag planner Beth Gale was fantastic with all of our regular changes made.
It was really helpful that you can choose by activity or Location, and once you've started you can then build the package easily.
Overall, really happy with everything - Stag went as messy as you'd expect! Thank you Beth & TheStagCompany!

Cancelled the event and wouldn't refund us
Cancelled the event due to COVID and then refused to refund the group. I'm still owed £240. Some of the group managed to do a chargeback via credit card companies but many couldn't. I would risk giving them any money. AVOID!!!

I am sorry to hear of your continued frustration with the company. I can only assume that this is a result of the booking you were part of in 2020, not from May 2022 as stated at the end of your review post.
It is important to clarify that the events were not cancelled by us due to COVID, but rather your Group Leader decided to cancel the booking in advance as the group were unsure about completing their payments. In such cases, as per industry standard during the pandemic, our policy stated that the option to rebook at a later date was available. Unfortunately, this option was never taken up.
As a company, we strive to accommodate our customers to the best of our ability. However, we also have to adhere to our policies and procedures in order to maintain consistency and efficiency throughout the booking process.
In closing, I am sorry that you are dissatisfied with the outcome of the cancellation. Nevertheless, we did clearly outline the cancellation policy prior to any decision made by your Group Leader.

Better Alternatives Out There
We had a disappointing experience with The Stag Company overall.
On an user interface level - I find it very tedious to have to log into the 'PartyHub' section of their website every time you receive a message from the team. I appreciate the concept of keeping communications in one space, but the extra steps just to read a short message proved to be more of an annoyance than anything else. At bare minimum this could have been rectified by simply including the contents of the message in the email notification for that new message.
Additionally many of their emails didn't land in my inbox. Looking back now, I think communication from the company could have been more streamlined and there probably wasn't a need for 24 different email chains from them. I was also surprised at the limited hours during which their phone lines are staffed.
Regarding activities, we booked two with the Stag Company in Tenerife - go karting and a private guided bar crawl which was changed to nightclub entry shortly before we went away due to external factors beyond their control.
For the go karting, the final itinerary explains that you need only be picked up by that excursions' bus service and will go straight into the activity, however upon arrival we were required to show a booking confirmation which the Stag Company had not provided me. It was only after multiple phone calls with the Stag Company's emergency ground agent and a 40 minute delay that we were able to finally take part in the go karting. It seems rather short-sighted to have a 'documents' section on the PartyHub but not supply activity booking confirmations should they be needed. I messaged the Stag Company on their PartyHub to notify them of this incident but as of me writing this review, they are still yet to acknowledge my messages.
We had a similar experience with the nightclub entry. Where the final itinerary states you need only give your name to gain entry - when we did this, the nightclub staff had no idea who we were and it was only after the manager appeared that make the most of the activity. Again, I feel a booking confirmation could have helped streamline this process.
Ultimately while our experience with the Stag Company certainly wasn't a dealbreaker, there was a lot of minor inconveniences which all added up. When you have the responsibility of organising the stag do and managing all the money, you want your party to feel as though their money has been well spent and at times it didn't feel as though that were the case. I think there's better alternatives out there.

Thank you for your feedback on our service and online platforms - we really do value this from our customers to help us improve.
Unfortunately some of our notification emails can go into spam, you are however, able to change this, opting to receive communication from ourselves.
As an online business, much of our communication is via the Party Hub. We do understand however that our customers may still wish to discuss bookings over the phone, so we do offer this option too and our phone lines are open for a substantial amount of time during the week.
In terms of the booking confirmation, we supply all itinerary information provided by the ground agent. The majority of activities are booked under the group leader's name, as was the case with the activities booked for you. We can only apologise if the transfer was expecting other documentation from you.
We are sorry to hear that your experience with us was not a positive one. We do hope that the above has helped to shed some further light on the frustrations.

The whole process was straightforward
