Booked our Stag group for an Edinburgh trip.
- Had to repeatedly be told to correct accommodation and still got it wrong!
- Gave us an incorrect checkout time at the accommodation meaning we got rushed out by cleaners.
- "Whisky tasting experience" was at a generic bar and led by the bar owner who just read tasting notes from a MasterOfMalt printout.
- Steak dinner turned out to be at The Slug and Lettuce, for a Stag group need I say more?
- Clay pigeon shooting activity was good but no transport organised for an activity majorly out of town!

We do note that it was not yourself who made the booking with us, but rather the group leader. At the time of booking, the group leader would have received full details of the package, including venue names, activity descriptions, distances, and inclusions. As part of our process, all customers are asked to read, check, and confirm the details in the Booking Confirmation before proceeding. For this reason, we are surprised by some of the comments in your review, though we are genuinely sorry to read them.
Regarding the clay pigeon shooting, we do appreciate that the distance from our Edinburgh location can feel far. Due to the nature of this activity, such venues are not located in the city centre. Our terms state that some activities may be up to one hour’s drive from the booked location, and this information is provided at the time of booking. While we currently cannot arrange transport for all activities, we are working towards partnering with trusted suppliers to offer this in the future.
We have reviewed your comment on the checkout time. Our records show 11:00, but the voucher we issued did state the correct time of 10:00. We thank you for pointing this out and have now updated our records to ensure accuracy going forward.

One to avoid.
The difference in service from before payment to after payment was stark. As soon as the payment had been secured it felt like it had been job done for the company. They advertise a set of activities which include 'XXL Beer Pong' and state 'bring your own drinks'. After paying you are instructed strictly no alcohol, may be subjected to alcohol tests and that at no point did they say it would include alcohol. The bubble football experience was good but just go direct to the provider rather than use these expensive and fairly ineffective middle men. Would not recommend or use again.

Rip off for what you get tbh.
24 of us booked a stag through this company. They are only good for collecting the cash and making sure all your mates pay for their accommodation. If like me, you know how difficult it is to get everyone to cough up, so there's that. Apart from that, we pretty much heard nothing from them. The person doing the pub crawl didn't turn up until late, we were meant to get free entry to a club and 2 free drinks each. So 48 pints, didn't see one of them, just some cheap schnapps. To be honest, we had a great time and couldn't be arsed with the tour. It was too late and we were well on our way by then. We were all put in a hostel, it was decent to be fair but if we'd have booked the accommodation through a well known website that sounds like cooking dot com, then the room for 4 of us, for 3 nights, worked out at £385 and these charged us around £750. There were 24 of us, we got some free schnapps, great, so they made a killing for just collecting the payments and booking some rooms. I'm only leaving this review as it is a bit of pee take really, they will probably cite not being able to book so many rooms etc, or being able to get into any bars as a big group, we didn't really see any of that, just as we didn't see anyone from this company. We had a cracking time and used these moreso to make sure everyone just paid their own money. So if you want save some money, as in take the stag to a house of ill repute with the savings. I recommend that, not these. Enjoy!!!

We totally get how tricky it can be to round up payments from a big group, and we’re pleased we could at least make that part of the process a bit easier for you.
We’re really sorry to hear that the rest of your experience didn’t live up to expectations. It’s disappointing to know the pub crawl started late and that the drinks package wasn’t as advertised. That’s not the standard we aim for, and we’ll be looking into what went wrong here. We always want to make sure our groups get the full experience they’ve booked, and we appreciate you flagging this.
Regarding the accommodation, we know it can sometimes seem more expensive than booking directly, but we do our best to secure group-friendly options and manage all the logistics (which can get tricky with large parties!). That said, we take your comments on board and will review our pricing and communication to see where we can improve.

Sean was an excellent liaison! He made sure everything ran smoothly for us. Booking was easy and super accessible for all members of my party. Everything we had planned went as expected which is all you can ask for with such a large group. Highly recommend!

I’ve been lucky enough to have to organise a couple of Stag Dos now and both times I’ve used Sean at The Stag Company. Nothing has ever been a problem, even when I forgot to book transfers and asked for them 2 days before setting off to Prague! The communication is good and whole process is a doddle. Don’t waste your time or money
When you spend time and money for a great stag and they don’t show up it ruins the day. Booked an activity, no one showed up. I’d avoid this company at all costs.

Easy booking process
We had the pleasure of having Alex as our event planner 🙂 the booking process was great very easy to choose your activities and pay them off over a few months. Everything went great and was planned perfectly 😌 Some messages took longer for a response then others but I'm sure they have many bookings.

Customer service at its finest! With the help of Jamie and Beth, we organised a great stag weekend in Barcelona. Having never been on a stag do, let alone organise one, the team were great with guiding us through the process and advising on best activities. All activities booked were well worth the money and of a very high standard. The team were always prompt in their communication and very accommodating. Would recommend them to all!

Our event planner Sean helped make the booking process easy and suggested the perfect events for us. The location of our hotel was ideal for the station and city centre. The website is very easy to navigate with regard to payment details and key dates. I would recommend The Stag Company if you want the strain taken out of booking a Stag

Fantastic.
We had an amazing time on our stag do, and a huge part of that was thanks to how well everything was organised. Jamie was brilliant from start to finish—professional, friendly, and always on hand to make sure things ran smoothly. Stag Do in Riga – 3 Days of Absolute Perfection
Just got back from a 3-day stag do in Riga and honestly, it couldn’t have gone better. Everything was planned to perfection from unforgettable airport transfer and a hotel right in the heart of the action, to an epic mix of activities and unforgettable nights out.
Riga absolutely delivered – great value, buzzing nightlife, and zero stress thanks to flawless planning. If you’re thinking about it, just do it. Best weekend ever.
