I have tried 3 curries. Fiery goan, butter chicken and tikka massala. Love all of them. I let them wallow overnight and they become more spicy and fabulous. Butter & tikka seem quite mild but left overnite or frozen portions....nom nom. Would not hesitate to recommend to all curry lovers....saved a fortune on takeaways btw. Tilda basmati rice, good naan bread and a spice tailor.....under a tenner

Tried this brand as it was reduced in Waitrose. Could not believe the quality of this product, my kitchen had the authentic aroma of a restaurant; the taste was amazing, far removed from the standard jars! I have made really good BIR curries before with my own base gravy etc and this is the very first time a kit has come anywhere near to the genuine product. I added chic peas, potatoes to mine to pack it out top with fresh coriander. Try the Rogan Josh and you'll never buy another brand again!!

I just tried the "fiery Goan curry", and I have to say it was very poor.
The taste was almost identical to a "Homepride" curry sauce I bought many years ago.
My advice? Keep your money and put it towards a proper takeaway.

Very good kits. Can see some complaints here about some other products of theirs but the kits I've tried so far which are quite a few were imported and the real deal. Like going to a good curry house but much cheaper. Relatively expensive vs the pataks and sharwoods etc but much better, not gloopy.

Have used these a couple of times and always enjoyed. Would have given 4 stars before. Purchased the keralan coconut curry. The salt levels were unreal and really ruined the experience. We didn't use any extra salt. I wonder if it was just a batch issue. Batch no. 3335 T

Without doubt the best biryani we've ever cooked at home. Now we ALWAYS get the kit when we have roast lamb and use it the next day.

In fact its better than the Biriani from our local Indian takeaway. Very easy to cook and just spicy enough for our tastes.

Food is stored in too much plastic possibly for a long time. Cannot recycle. Pricey too unless on offer. Quite tasty but prefer jars adding my own spices in larger amounts.

"Classic lentil tarka daal". Well, I love tarka daal, usually make it myself but could not find any of the small red lentils that I normally use, and came across this kit, with great hopes. It was awful: big green lentils and a gloopy sauce. Not recommended.

I like to cook Indian foods by scracth - However I have bought and tried all these sauces except the Korma but bought 2 packs today as on special offer of £1.05p in Tesco Syston Leicestershire. I have cooked a lamb spicey goan and just cooking a rustic rogan josh 18/11/2023- The sauce packs are very tasty and so easy to make- and versatile to use etc- i intend to make a lamb spicey goan hot pot soon- why not!! First class product

Wow, the best shop brought curry by far, great fun to put together and the taste off the scale.

First time using this brand. Tried Kerala Coconut Curry. Couldn't fault it. All the branded Jars of curry sauce I've tried in the past just didn't cut it. Will definitely be trying others in this range.

I’ve have purchased and enjoyed your products for years.
Unfortunately, on Monday I opened a classic lentil daal (exp date 2024)and poured it into the pan.
The smell was horrendous, like a chemical smell, that we had to open the windows and it could be smelt all over the house.
You could clearly see the daal didn’t look right.
I poured the daal away and washed up the pan. I couldn’t get the smell of it.
I put it in the dishwasher with other items. We have put the dishwasher on 3 times and now all items and the dishwasher smell if this overpowering chemical smell. We cannot use any of this niw as we do not know what it is. This product is contaminated.
Our outside bins absolutely stink too.
I’ve left 4 emails explaining this to Spice Tailor and still no one has contacted me.
Absolutely disgusting customer service and care.

These are excellent, especially on a busy night in 10 to 15 mins i can have a great curry. Quicker than it takes for the take out to deliver and better quality than most take out. I love then been using them for years.

Tried a few, but the fiery Goan curry is amazing. I'll buy this over a takeaway or restaurant curry now. Can't fault it...

Originally discovered this company when they offered a free sample for Keralan Curry, which included a vegatarian recipe idea that was appealing. I have been extremely pleased with the free sample which arrived promptly and with the free reciepe cards they included with it to give both meat and veggie options ideas for using the sauce. I found the instructions easy to follow and as a real curry buff , really impressed with the depth of flavour and overall taste. As a shop bought curry these are well above most of its competitors. 2 other family members both applied for the free samples and both got them without any issues and both families loved the sauces. Thank you for giving away such lovely free samples and for anyone reading these reviews , this company is not a scam they offer a genuinely great product. I have since bought other sauces from their range and made various recipes from their card suggestions and most have them have been a huge success.

These products are excellent if you don’t have a cupboard full of individual spices. They are all fresh unlike the ones you might have that you’ve not used for a year and have lost their flavour.
