Hello there. My name is Anne Wilson Blacklock, welcome to my website and welcome to my space. The Sanctuary is a safe, luxurious and relaxing environment in Cumbria where philosophy, psychology and holistic therapies come together, giving you the space to grow and connect with yourself. From NLP/CBT/EMDR, life coaching, Reiki. Reflexology, journeying/meditations, yoga and many facets of energy therapies, all designed and intended to help harmonise the flow of energy through the mind and body, in turn restoring balance on all levels. Every session is different and bespoke to YOU! Think of The Sanctuary as modern day counselling with ancient wisdom and, of course, common sense. If you are ready for change and healing The Sanctuary is the place for you.

I recently took part in a yoga session with the amazing Anne! I came away amazed at how knowledgeable and comforting she is. Her professionalism was outstanding however I felt like I had known her for years at the same time! If you get the chance to visit the sanctuary, you have to take it! Thanks again Anne!😁

An amazing place! As soon as you enter the Sanctuary it is a haven of peace and tranquility. Anne is professional,caring and very empathetic. She has a very wide experience of holistic care.
It is more than 5 stars !there is nowhere like this unique place of love and trust .

Anne is highly professional and exceptional at what she does, the level of service Is unmatched in this area, The Sanctuary is both beautiful and calming, if you go with the mindset for change then that's exactly what you will receive, you'll also come away with the tools to face any future challenges that life has a habit of sending your way.
It would be an insult to give anything less than 5 stars as that's the service you receive every time you walk through the door. Without fail.

Life Changing Place
The Sanctuary is pure bliss. Not only because it’s run by the most professional, endearing, and ridiculously hardworking woman I know (my wife) —but because every visit feels like a treat for the soul. She’s built this place from scratch with grit, grace, and a whole lot of love. Her attention to detail and the way she cares for each client is second to none. I mean, I might be a little biased... but as her best (and most loyal!) client, I can confirm: she’s absolutely amazing at what she does!...😁🥰❤️xxx

Taking that step to reach out and ask for help
I'm now well into my journey of recovery and moving forward with my life and understanding where I've gone wrong.
Its like stepping into another world when you enter The sanctuary, it is a wonderful, calm and safe space and Anne puts you at ease at soon as you arrive.
I feel like I have known Anne for years, easy to talk to and approachable.
It has taken me a long time to reach out and seek help.
So glad I finally done it. 🥰

Can’t imagine going anywhere else for…
Can’t imagine going anywhere else for my energy to be realigned, for yoga, for peace. Anne’s sanctuary is the ideal space for a reset. Anne is warm, welcoming, knowledgeable and professional all in just the right amounts. Highly recommend
