Didn't Disclose Remains & Damage from Cannabis Grow
The Property Perspective broke the property misrepresentation act by not disclosing the remains and damage from a cannabis grow in the loft, including cannabis plants, soil and mould-contaminated roof felt and wooden batons, which has affected my asthma.
I’ve been quoted £5,300 for the repairs but The Property Perspective have refused to take any responsibility or assist with the costs.
I would strongly recommend avoiding purchasing through this estate agent as they don’t care about putting people in unsafe living conditions.

Overall positive experience
Overall, I had a very positive experience. I especially appreciated the quick responses to both emails and phone calls, which made the whole process smooth and stress-free. Lauren was always polite and professional, which made communication easy and pleasant.
I was also very satisfied with the clear and effective communication between the owner and us, particularly regarding the purchase of the existing furniture and the key handover. Everything was handled efficiently and transparently.

Outstanding Support From Start to Finish
We recently completed our move with Property Perspective, and they were fantastic throughout the entire process. One of the biggest reliefs was how proactively they chased all parties involved in the sale. It took a huge amount of pressure off us as both sellers and buyers, and made the whole experience far less stressful.

I’m genuinely unsure how this company has so many glowing reviews, as my experience has been extremely disappointing.
We submitted an offer on Monday 5th January and received no communication at all. I had to repeatedly chase for basic information, only to be met with silence. As cash buyers, it’s unreasonable to have to pursue a seller for essential details about the property.
The Property Perspective expected us to proceed without answers to fundamental questions about the electrics, boiler, and structural aspects—information they openly admitted they could not provide. Despite this, they went on to sell the property without responding to us or acknowledging our emails. We were more than willing to move forward, even to increase our offer, but only with the necessary information.
Throughout the process, we were given conflicting and misleading statements about other offers. First there were none, then there were, then suddenly there weren’t again. It felt like pressure tactics rather than transparent communication. Any sensible buyer would want clarity before committing to a major purchase and arranging a survey.
We were promised a builder’s meeting on 07/01/26 and told we would receive an update the same day, then by close of play on 08/01/26. Neither happened. Instead, communication stopped entirely. We later discovered online that the property had been marked as sold STC.
Despite the complete lack of communication, they later contacted us asking if we would be interested should the new buyers pull out.
Edit – 12/01/2026:
Following a Trustpilot response, I still cannot agree that this company operates professionally. I have removed personal comments, but the facts remain as I appreciate this was a little unfair. While I understand that offers can be accepted at any time, transparency and courtesy are basic expectations. I was asked to increase my offer, but without the information I had requested, doing so would have been irresponsible. I would have happily increased the offer had the details been provided.
To date, I have still received no direct response from the company. I work with the public daily and have no difficulty ensuring people receive the information they need. The lack of communication here is simply unacceptable.
The property appears to be available again today. I emailed while at work—still no reply. It seems the only time this company engages is when a negative review is posted. I am still looking, despite the disappointment and hopefully able to find my new home.

Your offer was received and presented to the vendor, and you quite understandably raised a number of questions relating to the property. As explained at the time, some of this information was not immediately available to us and we were in the process of seeking clarification from the vendor where possible. At no point were you pressured to proceed without further checks or a survey.
While these enquiries were ongoing, another offer was received and accepted by the vendor. Once that decision was made, the property was marked Sold Subject to Contract. The vendor is entitled to accept an offer at any stage, and we are required to act in accordance with their instructions.
We would like to reassure you that information regarding interest in the property was provided in good faith based on the position at the time, and at no point was there any intention to mislead. Regarding communication, we acknowledge that the situation moved quickly and appreciate that this was frustrating for you.
Following the sale being agreed, we contacted you purely as a courtesy to inform you and ask whether you would wish to be considered should the agreed sale not proceed. This is standard practice and was intended as a courtesy.
We also wish to address the personal comments made about a member of our team. All communication was handled professionally and in line with our responsibilities as estate agents. While we regret that this transaction did not proceed for you, we are confident that the process was conducted fairly.

Rude and unprofessional
Unfortunately, I do not have a good word to say about this company, or how they treated me as a buyer for one of their properties. I thought Estate Agents were supposed to be impartial to both the buyer and seller, but this was far from the case with us. The Account Manager we were assigned to was nothing short of rude and unprofessional from start to finish, telling us that our Solicitors were not ones who she would recommend and we should go with one of her recommendations, which they obviously get commission for, to giving us unrealistic completion dates, and then not allowing us to go and see the property again until contracts had been exchanged. I could go on, but to top it all off, at the end of the whole process, my Solicitor told me that in all his years of dealing with Estate Agents, she was the rudest he had ever come across, which I think says it all.

Very good service
Thorough and detailed evaluation of the property and excellent marketing. Proper screening of the prospective buyers. Excellent communication. However, after the memorandum of sale was completed the updates on the progress of the sale on the seller's portal were poor.

Great experience
Great estate agents with a competent and friendly team. Some minor issues with communication and efficiency but better than most estate agents I've dealt with - this team also took my need to move into the property and time constraints seriously when I raised it with them which I appreciated as many can 'fob' you off.
