Overpriced for what it is.
It was quite unrealistic and felt like a GCSE drama / biology lesson but everything seemed very rushed. The presenter and all the staff were lovely, but the presenter spoke too fast - clearly trying to get through everything as quick as possible (which made it hard to follow at times). I don’t know what I was expecting but I thought I would take away more from the experience than I did so I was a bit disappointed.
It may be beneficial for a young teenage student who’s interested in that kind of career path but otherwise I found it was a lot more boring than I thought it would be.
There were hot and cold drinks, crisps, chocolate etc for sale (at an inflated price) as well as their (very expensive) merchandise. All I had was coffee so can’t really comment on the quality of anything else but it was a very bog standard coffee at triple what I would’ve expected to pay for it.
Overall, it’s a great concept but in my opinion they make it sound way more exciting than it is.

Being an ex military medical assistant I found the whole setup very professional and extremely informative, I have felt with birth through to death but never had much understanding of how the persons life story was told at the end. The delivery and presentation was amazing

Very interesting. The experience is interactive, with dissections throughout that you can get involved in. The speaker is very informative, speaks clearly and loudly, and has a jokey manner. As non medical attendees, it’s a lot of information to digest but we can follow the general gist.
Very helpful assistants as well.
Seating arrangement could possibly be improved - there are screens that show the main dissection via video, however since there is no elevation in the seats then it’s hard to see both the screens and the live dissection. The speaker is aware of this though and tries to explain for those that can’t see as clearly.
Would definitely recommend - especially if you’re on the front row on a side away from the camera
During the breaks you can get up and look at the main dissection so you can look at anything you missed. You can also order extra specimens and programs etc for more info

This is an amazing experience that everyone should attend. The knowledge this guy has is phenomenal and he imparts it with such ease.

Myself and 2 work colleagues attended the event thinking we would be seeing a live post mortem and instead saw a rubber mannequin with pig’s organs thrown in. The presenter/actor appeared knowledgeable however had clearly memorised a script and within 20 mins I became bored. The 5 star reviews are because they encouraged everyone to write a review whilst there to have a chance of winning some merchandise. The whole experience was very underwhelming and confusing as so fast paced didn’t have a clue what was going on at times. I’m sure I could have gone to my local butcher and got some organs to dissect for a fraction of the ticket price. Rigging for the set also obscured our view of the large screens. Parking charge was extreme considering it was a college car park which would have been free to park in without this ‘event’, also poor directions given to the venue and no clear address. Apart from having a laugh at the fact we thought we were going to see a live post mortem when in fact we actually paid to see pig’s organs being taken out of a rubber mannequin, it was a complete waste of time and money.

I didn't realise this event would be using pig organs for disection, I thought it would be prosthetics. I'm utterly appalled and disgusted. Couldnt get a refund on my tickets so tried selling them via their Facebook page but the admins took my posts down. What a pathetic system that you're just stuck with your tickets if you cant/don't want to go. Can't get a refund but banned from reselling. I hate what this company stands for. Money grabbing cowboys!!

Attended this event on 20/04/24, was disappointed with many aspects of this event, such as:

No clear instructions on how to get into the car park, piece of a4 flapping in the wind attached to the opposite entry gate….on getting to the correct entrance nobody there to let you in….once I found the entry buzzer, I got in and the queue of cars behind me followed.
Nobody checked my ticket so I could of walked in off the street
I paid for a dissection kit but there was not enough to go around, I ended up sharing my with another lady who had paid for a kit.
Again nobody checked who had paid and who had not! So it was a free for all.
Informative, good seat in the second row.
Programme way over priced at £12.
Retail counter at times unmanned, so I could of helped myself.
I did display my prepaid parking ticket however there was nobody there to enforce this.
Show was informative, at times too technical, at the beginning we were told there would be time for a Q and A it did not happen.

Misleading and certainly not worth the money. There’s no cadaver it’s just a plastic life size doll, which was disappointing. I over heard a lot of people who also was disappointed it wasn’t real. The organs are from a pig. A group of people left at the first interval probably related to the experience I also experienced.

We paid £40 extra for a tray of organs to our selfs. Could have went to the butchers and asked for the organs for a fraction of the price.

The host was entertaining, however he spoke too fast which meant I couldn’t hear clearly everything he was saying. He didn’t open the floor to questions and I expect it’s because of the above.

I do feel sad to leave a bad review, however it really is over priced and misleading.

Seating isn’t tiered so unless you’re front row you won’t be able to see much. The screens around the hall are far away so unless you have great eyesight you won’t be able to see. The screens are only visible looking one direction too.

At the start (during the show) it really feels like they trick you into buying a programme (although I’m sure they’ll say that isn’t the case). They say how good it is and how interactive it is but don’t say or mention that it costs anything. They then ask you to raise your hand if you want one (all this whilst the show is on) and someone will come round. They then shove a card machine in your face and it’s so awkward as the show is on and people are listening to the speaker they know people will end up buying it instead of querying the cost. The programme is a waste of money - DO NOT BUY!!!! It should be free on arrival, not £12. It’s also such a huge distraction for a good 10-15 mins having people going round with card machines.

The tables for dissection were cramped and there was no guidance once you got to the table - just a free for all. We paid £40 extra to get our own specimen and so did another pair on our table which meant the third pair on our table got the specimen to themselves for free which I find a little unfair. The tables should also be assigned with a number. Having to get up and hope to find a space to stand wasn’t good.

The person hosting the show was good but spoke really quickly. I feel like there wasn’t enough focus on the crime case and it didn’t feel like a live post mortem. It is more like a lecture on pathology.

I found it weird that all of the body parts were in boxes too instead of in her body. The only ones in her body were intestines and they were in her chest.

Overall a bit of a disappointment

Great show but was let down badly by poor uncomfortable seating, poor quality blunt scissors, and extremely expensive program.

Truly fascinating experience. Incredibly knowledgeable and engaging host taking us through the post-mortem process - we have learned so much in such a short space of time. Great opportunities to dissect a specimen throughout the experience. Would highly recommend. Only negative is that the venue is freezing and the programmes were overpriced for what they are! Despite that I would still recommend to anyone interested in this topic!

Such an educational and well presented event. The staff were really friendly and the host was very knowledgeable and approachable. The specimens provided for us to dissect were great quality and gave us the opportunity to do and see organ structures first hand and would highly recommend this expedition to other healthcare professionals.
