Paid $1.00 for a personality test and they secretly signed me up for a $40 monthly subscription. I didn’t even make an account and had no way to cancel or login. SCAM.

Hello, and thank you for letting us know. We’re so sorry for the worry and confusion this caused. A short trial membership can continue into a recurring plan unless it’s cancelled before the trial ends, and we’d never want that to catch you off guard.
You don’t need an account or a login to cancel: just enter the email you used at checkout at thepersonality.com/cancel-sub and you’ll be sent a verification link. Hello, thank you for your feedback. We’re glad you found the experience quick and easy. Take care.
For $2, it was worth it. But not by a mile.
I was surprised, but not too surprised that these test results I had to pay for. But, it was a cheap $2 for the 11 pages of insights and solutions. One star gone because I had to pay, which I should have been warned about. The second star gone because a friend gave me a link to this test under the video that this test can determine how autistic I am. I saw no percentage, like the video gave, about how autistic I am. It gives individual percentages of the autistic traits, but not one for overall. At least I already knew I was autistic before this test.

Hello, and thank you for such a thoughtful review. We’re glad you found the report’s insights worth it, and we’re sorry the payment came as a surprise.
Our report looks at individual traits, and it isn’t a clinical diagnosis, so it’s meant as a starting point for personal reflection. We really appreciate you sharing your experience. Take care.

The cost was $1.95 to take an assessment test and I wanted to know if I had ADHD—always working on multiple projects. When I received the assessment, it was more in general terms - which is actually a good thing because who wants to read in complicated clinical language? I’m a Clinical Counselor and it can be hard to understand, I get it. However, the depth of description of explanations I was looking for was not here. I guess I’m used to reading the actual diagnostic manual of mental disorders lol, and can stick to the description there of ADHD where I didn’t meet criteria. For a general idea in basic terms, this sight works for a brief understanding.
Thank you to the team who kindly replied to me and explained how to cancel my monthly subscription.

Hello, and thank you for your honest feedback. We’re sorry the assessment felt more general than you were hoping for. Your account shows your plan’s renewal details, and a trial membership continues into a recurring plan unless it’s cancelled before the trial ends.
If you’d rather not continue, you can cancel anytime at thepersonality.com/cancel-sub, and cancelling before the renewal date stops the next charge. If you have any questions about your account, our Contact Us page (thepersonality.com/contact-us) is here to help. Take care.
