What an amazing experience, went in feeling a bit confused as I didn’t know what I want but the staff were extremely helpful and helped me to find the perfect perfume for me, also made me aware of the rewards cards, I’ll definitely be coming back soon.

Store staff were pleasant, approachable and very helpful navigating a clueless guy in gift shopping. Particularly, Ella saved me when I was clearly out of my depth. Excellent service

i visited Unit 11D, Newport Retail park, NP19 4QQ NEWPORT, GB to collect Zadig & Voltaire This is Him Burning Love and was given a cheap paper envelope not even a jiffy bag just thin paper, perfume shop need to review how items should be shipped in line with royal mail guidance safe and secure with edges covered not basic paper packaging. spending money to then be handed a paper envelope that breaks royal mail packaging policy is unacceptable.

i asked staff if i could have a bag and was told they are 20p, all i had in my wallet was £20 notes so this felt unreasonable, after being given inadequate packaging that breaches royal mail standards, being asked for 20p for a bag is an utter joke. staff should use some discretion and brains in situations like this, instead the jobsworth pointed to a sign to belittle me, staff complain they should be treated well yet treat paying customers as dirt.

i will never ever shop here again and the reply to my last review is a joke, you don't reply to emails full stop, dont say you do as i have an email chain and 4 feedback emails in reply to my emails. delete all my information inline with the ICO under article 17 ukgdpr due to repeated failures in handling my queries properly.

jasmyn your last reply saying "busy periods blah blah blah" is nonsense, i emailed over 1 month and had no replies at all, just 4 feedback emails asking how good the repies were when there were no replies. that is the reality, i can and will post the full email chain on X and use GROK to amplify.

1 Comply with royal mail shipping and packaging The perfume or aftershave must be within its original retail packaging and then placed in strong outer packaging, The inner packagings must be packed, secured or cushioned to prevent breakage or leakage of their contents into the outer packaging. YOURS in paper thin envelope i have kept ITS NOT a cushioned envelope this clearly breaches posting policy and will be reported.

2 Advise staff not to be jobsworths over 20p and expect customers to use a £20 note, discretion and brains is important.

3 You have my order number so you can identify me, inline with article 17 ukgdpr right to erasure delete all my information and not limited to unless you can state a legal basis, don't refer me to email because the perfume shop never reply.

4 jasmyn do not reply again with generic or inaccurate statements to try and make the perfume shop look good, it does not reflect the actual service received.

Under section 49 of the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the service was not provided with reasonable care and skill, including the failure to deal properly with my complaint and or email replies

Just delete all my data in full not part and please do not reply. The request . Under ICO the ukgdpr request is valid via email, verbally written or even social media. So you can identify me via the order number.

Fast delivery. Great selection of Perfum choices online and in store. Well recommend.

Everyone at the perfume shop is incredibly helpful and friendly. The store manager Michelle is always willing to help give the best customer service, if that’s with a perfume you like or a perfume you want but are not sure about and if you’d like help with online orders.
The store manager is always on hand to help and always keeps the store looking very professional. I have no need to comment on the store improving however I do believe Newport store would benefit from a fresher look as other stores have been updated to look more appealing to customers. The Newport team as a whole are a fantastic team, I would highly recommend visiting the Newport store for the best experience of customer service and variety of products as well as very good prices.

The staff in Newport were brilliant from start to finish, they helped with different perfumes and when I ordered it came very quickly, a definite 5* rating

This evening Friday 16th January 2026 I visited The Perfume Shop in Newport Spytty Retail Park. I was served by a lady called Lisa who in my opinion is a great asset to company.

She was extremely helpful. She actually cared for what I was looking for and in my opinion was honest in all of her opinions. She dealt with me in a professional manner despite the shop being busy.

I ended up leaving with a new bottle of aftershave for myself and I felt comfortable dealing with her.

Top marks ‘Perfume Shop’. Give Lisa a pat on the back from me.

My time in the perfume was more than pleasant. The lady I delt with was a fantastic help and I could not have survived the experience with out her. Since this experience with Michelle and the help she supplies I have been back twice more and have spent over £600 , thank you again Michelle spending time to listen and help at your busy time. The aftershave I wanted was not stocked in store, but it was ordered and ready for collection (although I could have had it delivered to my house) within 3 days. Lovely customer service too.
