Excellent, efficient and helpful staff. Courteous but never pushy.

I have been a regular customer at this perfume shop for quite some time and have spent a considerable amount of money here over multiple visits. In the past, I have always enjoyed shopping here, and customers who made qualifying purchases would often receive complimentary gifts as a gesture of appreciation.

Unfortunately, my most recent visit has completely changed my opinion of this store.

I was initially assisted by Claudia (if I remember her name correctly), who helped me choose and purchase my perfumes. She was polite, and I understand that, as a sales assistant, there is only so much she can do regarding store policies.

After completing my purchase, I noticed another gift bag on display and simply asked, **"What do I need to buy to qualify for that gift?"** I was **not** asking for the gift to be given to me for free. I was only asking what purchase was required to be eligible for it.

Claudia went to ask the store manager, an older lady, and returned saying they could not give me any more gifts. I explained that this wasn't what I had asked. I politely repeated that I only wanted to know what I needed to purchase in order to qualify for that gift. The manager then responded, **"I am telling you."** I replied, **"What is there to tell when that isn't what I asked?"** Instead of answering my question, she immediately said, **"Don't use that tone against me."**

My voice is naturally loud, but I was never rude, aggressive or sarcastic. I was simply asking a straightforward question that had still not been answered.

What happened next completely shocked me. The store manager actually told me that I **did not deserve the gifts** that had already been given to me and even threatened to take them back. I have never experienced a store manager speaking to a loyal customer in such a degrading and humiliating manner. Those gifts had already been given to me by the store, yet she chose to use them as a way to belittle and intimidate me.

This is not the first unpleasant experience I have had with this particular manager. On previous occasions, I chose to ignore her attitude because I did not want to make an issue out of it. However, after this encounter, I can no longer stay silent. Based on my repeated experiences, I have been left with the strong impression that customers from ethnic minority backgrounds are not treated with the same level of respect as others. That is how her behaviour has consistently come across to me, and it made me feel judged, unwelcome and looked down upon despite being a loyal, paying customer who has spent a significant amount of money in this store.

It is deeply disappointing that someone in a management position would behave in such an unprofessional manner. A store manager should know how to treat customers with dignity and respect, not speak to them in a condescending tone, tell them they do not deserve gifts, or threaten to take back gifts that the store had already given them.

I have always believed that good customer service is about making customers feel valued, regardless of who they are or where they come from. Sadly, that was not my experience here.

This visit has completely changed my opinion of the store, and it will be my last. While Claudia did what she could within her role, the behaviour of the store manager overshadowed the entire experience.

To anyone considering shopping here, I would encourage you to pay close attention to how you are treated. Expensive products mean very little when customers are made to feel belittled, disrespected and unwelcome.

I sincerely hope the company investigates this incident and provides additional training to its management team. No customer deserves to be spoken to or treated in the way that I was.

The ladies that served us were chatty and happy, great customer service, they didn't have what we ordered in stock so made arrangements to deliver. Was a delightful shopping experience.

Lewis in Cabot Circus has been nothing short of amazing with good customer service and knowldge in perfumes. Helped me pick nice perfumes for my wife.

I had a really good experience at this shop with my purchase, kacey helped me a lot.

I’m sad to say that I’ve still not received my perfume order due to my address being inputted incorrectly at the store when I ordered. Before the second attempt I emailed with my full address and it was still not delivered, and is now with Royal Mail somewhere. I’ve been told when the warehouse has it I’ll get a replacement or refund, but it’s been nearly two weeks since I ordered and there’s been no progress. A shame as I’ve ordered before and had no issues.

I have had very great customer service by kacey, Jess, salma and Lewis they were very good and offered me lots of new great fragrances to smell. I would really recommend that you come here to the perfume shop in Bristol Cabot circus.

I don't normally feel compelled to write reviews, but yesterday I had such a great customer service experience that I felt like it deserved to be noted.

My experience with Casey (or Kasey, I didn't get the spelling unfortunately) yesterday evening in Cabot Circus, Bristol was outstanding. I don't know if I've ever had an interaction with a salesperson who knew so much about all their products, and in so much detail!

Not only was she really nice/friendly but she went the extra mile with helping me, which ultimately really helped me make a decision and buy something, I was just so impressed with how she really knew her stuff - and for me going in with a million questions and no knowledge about what I wanted at all, she was honestly a godsend! I felt so fortunate to be in her very capable hands. Girl 100% deserves a raise!!

jess was so lovely! she had impeccable customer service skills! and I was shocked to hear she’s only been working in the shop for a few weeks!! she was a absolute credit to the store and super knowledgeable and next time I need fragrance I will be coming and asking for Jess!

Back into my favourite perfume shop as I needed a fresher fragrance ready for spring and summer.
Not really sure what I was looking for, but thanks to the fantastic help of Jess, I was able to purchase a true winner that I am extremely happy with.

Orion you are a star : I went into shop today and left having sampled a selection of some of the finest perfumes . He tailored his service to my unique taste and encouraged me to be adventurous through trying perfumes that aren’t my normal go-to . He ensured that I left knowing exactly what my next purchase will be : Today I left with a travalo but on my next visit I will be taking home a 100 ml bottle to add to my collection ! The service we got from Ria and Orion was fantastic, really helping us narrow down the cologne we were looking for and getting it sent to our house when it wasn’t in stock.
