I don't trust this website
I don't trust this website, I tried to make a payment for a perfume and it kept asking me to make a payment after I had already done so and when I tried to cancel it, it said order went through and then tried to make me pay again!

We’re sorry this caused concern, but we can reassure you that The Outlet Shop is a legitimate business and certainly not a scam. We’ve served over 46,000 customers without a single case of a customer being charged twice for the same order.
If a card payment fails or doesn’t complete properly, the checkout will return you to the payment screen and ask you to try again. In some cases, particularly where there has been an internet timeout or the payment process has been interrupted, your bank may temporarily show a pending authorisation or pre-authorisation even though the payment itself has not successfully completed.
This is a standard part of card payment processing and is not a second charge. Any unsuccessful authorisation is normally released automatically by the bank.
We completely understand how seeing a pending payment and then being asked to pay again could be confusing, but there was no attempt to charge you twice and nothing misleading or fraudulent taking place.
If you ever have any concerns during checkout, our customer service team is always happy to check the order and payment status before you try again.
I bought my Braun home blood pressure…
I bought my Braun home blood pressure device under the impression that it was a new and unused item. When it arrived the packaging seals were broken and it had clearly been removed from its packaging. It had also been previously used and still contained the blood pressure readings of another user which is a breach of the Data Protection Act 2018. I had to mention this three times to their customer service department who fobbed me off each time. They finally refunded my purchase. A poor show!

We are genuinely disappointed to read this because parts of the review simply aren’t accurate.
The monitor was never advertised as brand new. It was clearly listed as “Like New”, meaning it had been opened or previously used, and our condition grading is clearly explained on our website before purchase.
We are an outlet retailer and sell a mixture of new, open-box, damaged-box and graded items. That is exactly why many of our products are offered at significant discounts compared with buying brand new from a traditional retailer. In this case, the item was around 50% cheaper than the usual new retail price, reflecting the condition it was sold in.
We absolutely agree that the previous readings should have been deleted before the device left us. That shouldn’t have happened, and we’ll be feeding this back directly to our warehouse team so it can be addressed.
However, the suggestion that you ordered a new product and were then sent a used one simply isn’t correct. You ordered a Like New item and received a Like New item.
I also don’t think it’s fair to say our customer service team “fobbed you off" the condition of the item was explained, and a full refund was issued.
We also did not require you to return the product. You received a full refund and were able to keep the item.
We’re always happy to hold our hands up when something has gone wrong, and the stored readings were a mistake that will be addressed. However, we also think it’s important to correct the record where a review gives a different impression of what was actually ordered and how the issue was handled.

Thank you so much for your fantastic 5-star review!
We’re really pleased to hear you found a great saving and that your order arrived the very next day in perfect condition. It’s especially great to hear that you were happy with the packaging and overall experience, particularly as this was your first order with us.
We do send shipping confirmation emails, so it’s possible yours may have ended up in your spam or junk folder. That said, we’ll certainly look into this on our side to make sure everything is working as it should.
Thank you again for choosing us, and we hope to see you again soon!

We’re really sorry your order arrived later than expected, especially after you’d paid extra for Special Delivery.
We did dispatch the order the same day, but because the parcel was oversized we had to send it with Parcelforce on their next-day service instead.
Unfortunately, Parcelforce then took two days to deliver it, which was really disappointing and outside of our control once the parcel had left us.
We completely understand as you paid extra expecting a faster delivery.
We’ve already refunded the additional shipping charge in full.
We’re sorry this happened and that the courier delay let the experience down.

Almost 50% unusable product.…
I ordered 2 boxes of Nicolette icy white gum, the description said the boxes were damaged but the product itself had been quality checked. One box was about 90% okay, but the other was was 75% damaged. The foil seals were torn and rendered the gum unusable. By the time postage was taken into account I'd have been better off paying full price on Amazon.

We’re very sorry to hear about your experience. This is certainly not the level of service we aim to provide, and we apologise that one of the boxes arrived in a condition that made the product unusable.
Although our items may have damaged packaging, the products themselves should still be checked before being sold, so we’d like to look into what happened here.
Have you already sent us a message regarding this? If so, could you please provide your order number so I can locate your order and investigate this for you?
We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and hope we can resolve this for you.

We’re very sorry to hear that your moisturiser arrived in this condition. This is certainly not the standard we expect for our products.
Could you please let us know if you’ve contacted us privately regarding this issue and, if so, whether it has now been resolved? We’d also appreciate it if you could provide your order number so we can look into what happened and assist you further.

Excellent delivery of a very good item
I received my order in a very timely manner. Although the largest item was clearly described as having potential issues, also recognised in the reasonable price charged, on arrival I found the item to be in perfect condition for my needs.

Not very happy with service so far not responding to emails efficiently and still waiting for a response.
Quality on packaging was not very good as box looked like it had a fight with a bull and the wheelchair had vital missing parts.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. We are very sorry to hear about your experience.
Unfortunately, your wheelchair arrived with a missing part, which is clearly not acceptable, and we sincerely apologise for the inconvenience this caused. We understand how frustrating this must have been.
Although there was a slight delay in our response as your email was received outside of our normal business hours, we were actively trying to source a replacement part that could be delivered as quickly as possible. Unfortunately, we were unable to find one within a reasonable timeframe.
To resolve the matter as quickly as possible, we processed a full refund for your order, and told you there is no need to return the wheelchair. We hope this will allow you to source the replacement part locally if you wish.
We appreciate your feedback, as it helps us improve both our products and our service. Again, we sincerely apologise that your experience did not reflect the high standard of service we aim to provide.
