Wimbledon Solid Natural Oak Storage Bed
Five moves later and this bed is still perfect! I’ve taken it down and put it back together 6 times since 2018, and it’s still just as rock-solid as the first time. Definitely worth the investment.
Im looking to buy more oak furniture which is what reminded me of this company after so long .

After much searching finally found a…
After much searching finally found a three-drawer oak bedside table through the Oak Bed Store. I was able to order a wood sample to compare with other furniture I had. The bedside table is great - fully assembled and solid. Although the drawers are a little shallower than I hoped they are really beautifully made. A bargain price for something that will last a long time.

Beautiful bed - and side opening single ottoman which was just what I was looking for and they are hard to find. It is a shame that they don’t offer an assembly service otherwise it would have been 5 stars.

You’re absolutely right, 3ft side-opening wooden ottoman beds can be quite hard to find, so it’s wonderful to know it was exactly what you were looking for.
We completely understand your comment regarding assembly, we have explored offering an assembly service with a number of partners in the past, but unfortunately it hasn’t worked as well as we’d hoped. Ottoman beds are more complex and time-consuming to assemble, and most delivery partners are reluctant to take this on due to the longer assembly time involved.

Nice single bed
Nice single bed. More assembly required than I anticipated. Arrived with a set of bolts missing which was frustrating. At £300 for the bed frame it wasn't cheap. I wouldn't buy again.

We can see you’ve been a valued customer since 2021 and have previously ordered several standard bed frames and a bedside table from us, so we really appreciate your continued support over the years.
We completely understand your comments regarding assembly. Ottoman beds are more complex than the standard bed frames you've purchased previously, due to the lift mechanism and storage design, which does mean a more involved assembly process.
We’re also very sorry to hear about the missing bolts — that’s certainly not the experience we want for our customers. We haven’t been able to find any previous contact from you regarding this, but we’ll reach out to you directly to find out more information regarding this and put this right for you.

This is the secound Trafalgar oak bed we have bought (single and small double). Both beds are high quality products and well constructed. Packaging was very good. We would recommend purchasing these products. Delivery was extremely quick, and the delivery people were courteous, friendly and very helpful.

Absolutely wonderful
Absolutely wonderful after having an appalling experience with BedKingdom this was so refreshing. Beds were of good quality and easy to put up. I would recommend this company to anyone. There was a slight problem with a wooden slate but a replacement was with us the next day without any fuss or difficulty.

Excellent bed
Excellent bed! Good quality of materials used. Very sturdy and strong. Looks to be a very durable design, one that is sure to last many years. Spare pieces given for the construction, which was helpful.
I will mention however that whilst constructing the bed, the instructions advised the mattress frame to be attached to the hinged pistons whilst in the “lifted open” position. This is incredibly difficult to do despite having a multiple of people to help lift and hold the heavy frame in place. In practice it made more sense & was far easier to screw on the frame on to the hinges whilst they are in the closed position, i.e with the frame “flat closed.” As a result I have awarded 4 stars.

We also really appreciate your feedback regarding the assembly instructions for attaching the metal base to the gas pistons & hydraulic arms. It's helpful to hear how the process worked in practice, and your suggestion about attaching the frame while in the closed position is valuable
When we created the assembly instructions, we considered a number of different ways that the metal base could be attached to the hydraulic arms. Based on feedback from our manufacturers who have 20+ years of experience producing ottoman beds for customers around the world, the method outlined in the instructions was chosen as the safest and most practical approach for most customers.
Your suggestion of attaching the metal base while in the closed, flat position can certainly work. However, this would require lifting and holding the full metal base while attaching the hydraulic arms, which can be difficult and potentially unsafe during assembly.
We would also not recommend attaching the gas pistons first and then pushing the hydraulic arms down before fitting the metal base in the flat position, as movement during attaching the metal base fittings could cause the gas pistons to activate unexpectedly. For this reason, we recommend following the method outlined in the instructions.
That said, we completely understand that assembling an ottoman bed can sometimes feel a little fiddly, and we really appreciate you taking the time to share your experience.

Love my new bed!
Gorgeous looking bed, doesn't look cheap and is solid. Took 4hrs to make but was very simple and loved how all the parts where in connected packages, making it a pretty decent experience putting it together. Can mostly be made alone. So pleased with it and at a great price.
