Om Themuzzlemovement
Skrevet af virksomheden
Our unique dog muzzles were designed to help break the stigma around muzzled dogs while providing safe, comfortable, and ethical muzzle solutions for dogs. At The Muzzle Movement, we believe dog muzzles should support both safety and welfare without fear or shame.
We are The Muzzle Movement, and we’re not just here to sell dog muzzles. Our mission is to change how the world sees muzzled dogs and their guardians. Through education, advocacy, and innovative design, we work to improve public understanding of muzzle training, responsible dog ownership, and humane dog management tools.
Using our platform, we support and empower a growing community of dog guardians, trainers, and muzzle advocates who are helping create a safer and more understanding world for dogs who need muzzles. We believe every dog deserves compassion, proper equipment, and informed support.
Our goal is simple: one day, muzzled dogs and their guardians will be celebrated, and using a dog muzzle will be recognised as a responsible, proactive, and caring choice.
To help make that future possible, we knew muzzles themselves had to change. Traditional dog muzzles often look intimidating and don’t always meet the needs of modern dogs. That’s why we designed comfortable, breathable basket muzzles for dogs that allow for panting, drinking, enrichment, and safe training.
Because the truth is, muzzles aren’t scary. The dogs who wear them aren’t scary either. They’re loved dogs with responsible guardians who are making thoughtful choices for safety, training, and welfare.
That’s why we’re proud to offer innovative dog muzzles and exclusive deals to help more guardians access the tools they need while continuing our mission to normalise muzzles and support muzzled dogs everywhere.

Perfect muzzle
After ordering so many muzzles we found one that was perfect. The muzzle charms are lovely too. It actually makes him look even more cute rather than looking like Hannibal lector

Love!!
The costumer service is great! Muzzle is also awesome! Delivered much quicker than they say. Only complaint is when you put my dogs measurements into the website it states no muzzle will fit her. Costumer service also said the same thing. However, the muzzle fits her perfect!

Hi Jaimie,
Its so great to hear that you were able to find a muzzle that fits your dog :)
Great design & access to training tutorials
It was easy to take the measures and do the training thanks to the available video tutorials. My dog never once refused wearing the muzzle so far and his training was smooth and successful. The muzzle is a great fit and is relatively lightweight. We love it's design and my dogs perso al.favorite is the whole in the front, allowing him easy access to his well deserved treats.

Hi Jason,
Thanks for the lovely review! We're so glad to hear the muzzle has improved your pups quality of life, it means a lot to us!
Issues with added components
The muzzle is great quality and my dog highly prefers it to all other muzzles weve tried. I have two issues:
1. The muzzle can flip up like a visor because nothing is securing it at the bottom. The extra strap that I bought to secure to his collar doesn't fit is wide collar and doesn't have any way to adjust the size.
2. I reached out with questions regarding the chin strap add on component (size, attachment points, ability to work with a thick collar, and possibility of returning the current strap and exchanging it for the chin strap) and never heard back.

Hi Ben,
We're sorry to hear you've had issues with your order. It sounds like there could be a sizing issue so I would suggest sending photos of your dog in their muzzle to support@themuzzlemovement.com for our team to take a look and make any sizing suggestions.
I can see we received a ticket from you on 1st July and replied the same day but it may have gone to your junk folder.
We do have a large version of the chin loop and muzzle stop which fits around wider collars :) This can be found on the "Accessories" section of the webpage.

Great product and After Sales
Great product, my first attempt I made a mistake in the measurements! So my poor dog was extremely uncomfortable for the first time I tried putting it on. I then was a bit nervous about sending bac and getting a return.....perish the thought all was extremly simple and speedy! The new muzzle was sent, the tea responded very quickly to my emails! Bravo - and now the new muzzle was shipped very quickly and dog and owner are super pleased!

We absolutely love the muzzle we ordered for our American Pit Bull, Echo. The online resources for measuring the proper fit for her muzzle were very helpful. I was honestly surprised how quickly we received our order considering we are in the US. Once we received it, we were impressed with the quality, the fit was perfect and the color looks so pretty on her.
Echo now wears her muzzle almost daily, due to reactivity. She has been able to drink water, accept treats while training, play with toys and sleep comfortably. I am so thankful I found your organization and was able to order her a safe and comfortable muzzle that she can wear daily and still get to enjoy her life and be a well loved part of the family.

Hi Jennifer, our muzzles are intentionally much larger than the traditional pet store muzzles and this is due to our muzzles being large enough for dogs to fully pant and drink with their muzzle on.
If it is looking exceptionally large and bulky this could be due to a sizing error.
Our team would be happy to assist with any sizing queries, you can contact them on support@themuzzlemovement.com
Our returns portal is usually very straight forward to use and provides you with return carrier options or the option to find your own return carrier. If you're having any issues with this we'd be happy to assist!

Hi Tracy,
We're sorry to hear that your dog has developed sores on his cheeks. This can happen if the muzzle is too small, as it shouldn't press or dig into the cheeks.
It is like wearing shoes that are too small – they can cause rubbing, and the same can occur with a muzzle. If you'd like any assistance with choosing a different size or checking if the fit can be improved, our support team would be very happy to help!
You can reach them directly at support@themuzzlemovement.com.

Nice fitting muzzle
Nice fitting muzzle! I have two and this is the second I bought. Bought some accessories for an upgrade (padded nose strip, a scavenger guard, and one little accessory that says „I need space“.
I really like it. Fits good on my dog and he is not annoyed to wear it. He can eat, drink, and pant.

Perfect fit, robust design!
I had been struggling to find a muzzle with the correct measurements, long narrow snoot, correct length too wide, correct width too short. Muzzle from you is a perfect fit! Room to pant, sniff, drink, be a dog. Love the colour choices and the treat hole is going down a treat for positive training. A well made sturdy yet light weight muzzle that my lady happily wears. Measurements guide easy to understand. Muzzle well made and robust. Excellent value for money, not the cheapest but worth it.

Never received it
Never received it, asked if I could change the address. It ended up as missing mail and I’m waiting for the post office to hopefully find it. Otherwise that’s over $300 down the drain. Sucks to be me I guess.

Hi Cassandra,
We responded to your email on the 25th June confirming the parcel appeared to be out for delivery that day according to the tracking. We didn't hear back to this email so presumed delivery had gone ahead.
We are unable to change a shipping address once the item is dispatched but we did suggest reaching out to the carrier USPS to see if they could update the address for you their end.
We'd be happy to arrange a replacement shipment of the order or a refund of your items as they are currently on their way back to our workshop.
Please reach out to the support team for further assistance with this!
