The food is very good but the service was underwhelming and slow.The staff seem to spend a great deal of time in the bar area dealing with Take Away's and drinks forgetting that service is equally if not more important in the actual restaurant. This definitely needs addressing.
Let me start by saying that the food is excellent. However, trying to get it delivered is another story. I ordered online an hour before the restaurant opened as a pre-order for delivery at 5.45pm. After waiting for 40 minutes (6.25pm), I called them to find out when I could expect my delivery. I was abruptly told that they would send my order out when their driver returned before hanging up on me. Just plain rude.
DO NOT USE!! We emailed this restaurant & called them directly to allow them the opportunity to respond & rectify, so there would be no would be no need to leave a bad review, unfortunately not even the decency of a reply! Terrible customer service!!
We ordered (£40) food for delivery at 6.30pm for an 8pm delivery.. 1.5hrs notice and we paid £5.50 delivery charge!
The food did not arrive at 8pm, we called, was advised would be 20mins, 30mins later, we called again, apparently the driver left 5mins ago! We received our luke warm food just under 1hr late, ordered food at 6.30pm recieved near to 9pm! 2.5hrs later!
Once recieved, we were missing the onion salad which was paid for, the food was extremely oily/greasy, the chicken totally inedible, the masala sauce was disgusting, not like any masala sauce I have seen or tasted before, tasted sour/off!
We would like a refund please !
Last night 🌃 had the most delicious chicken jalfrezi and mushroom pilau rice.
It was tantalising from the very first mouthful and just beautifully hot but not overly so, my 8 year old was helping herself to my plate and wholeheartedly agreed it was just so moreish.

I have used the Mogul for years but never again.
Having eaten in the restaurant several times over the past few years we’ve never had a problem with quality of food and service, second to none.
Recently ordered a takeaway for delivery which included a Chicken Parthia. Delivery time was adhered to and the quality of food was at best average but the chicken dish was virtually inedible in that the meat was tough and unchewable.
It would appear that the problem lies with the takeaway service. I would suggest the chicken mentioned had either been horrendously overcooked or been preprepared quite some time before and spoiled. Not happy
DISAPPOINTING
This was the second time we have ordered a takeaway for delivery. The first time was about 4 weeks ago. When the food arrived we realised one of dishes was completely wrong, not what we had ordered! We phoned up and complained
and was asked if we could come and pick it up. We couldn’t as we had been drinking. The man said he would refund it, but never did!
Afterwards we thought we would give them another try as mistakes happen but after tonight’s dinner we wish we hadn’t!
The order arrived about 25 minutes late, it was barely warm. We opened the trays of vegetable curry (ordered Biryani’s) they were only half full and the dishes tasted bland, no taste. Actually not spicy at all which is really weird for Indian food!
Will not be ordering from here again.
Dishes were well-cooked and presentation was lovely. Reasonable prices too. Though the service can be a bit slow at times, the staff accommodated us pretty well.
Shame really, the food is lovely but tonight when ordering the staff were disgustingly rude. I was moaned at for having my order delivered and for paying by card to start with, they then called back 45 minutes later telling me my card was declined and that I had to pay with cash (this was a clear lie as I then ordered from a different takeaway paying by card) I told them that I couldn’t pay with cash so the order would have to be cancelled, the bloke then started screaming and swearing down the phone at me and told me they will never serve me again. It’s their loss though because I absolutely love a curry and consume them regularly!
