Terrible experience. No more than 3 minutes of treatment on each visit. So far I have paid over$300 because of their subscription. It is very difficult to cancel their subscription. I will need t... Se mere

Aggressive treatment, didn't change my situation, they don't give you a copy of your cancelation form than they continue charging for months. Not recommended at all

The locations in Troy, Dearborn Heights, and Allen Park have always been good to me. With Troy going the extra mile from Jeff, Janel, Jade, and of course Dr. Ali they held open a special I was slow to respond to financially to hold the window open. From what I’ve experienced they compete with or rival independently owned chiropractic offices. Very reasonable and highly recommended. E.
Subscription Gimmick, Not Real Chiropractic
The only positive thing I can say about this subscription-based chiropractor is the price. On paper, it looks great: cheaper than my $30 co-pay, even though my insurance covers unlimited visits. For people with higher co-pays or no insurance at all, I can see the appeal. Unfortunately, the service feels just as cheap as the price.
Each visit is maybe a minute or two total. There’s a quick bit of chit-chat — which feels more like they’re reading notes than actually remembering who you are — and then about 15 seconds of “adjustment.” In two months of going, I never felt any improvement. I never got a proper adjustment pop, and honestly, what they did felt rough and careless, something my girlfriend could have done at home.
One visit really scared me. I went in already hurting, and the chiropractor decided to adjust my neck. It was painful, and I worried they might actually make things worse. Unlike normal chiropractors, they never took x-rays or showed any real concern about my ongoing issues.
The business side isn’t much better. The cheap first visit is just a sales pitch for the subscription. After that, they push $20 “extra adjustments” through constant texts and emails. Canceling is also made intentionally difficult — you can’t do it online or in the app, only in person at the exact location where you signed up.
Overall, this was a poor experience. Unless you have absolutely no other option, I wouldn’t recommend it. Even without insurance, plenty of chiropractors offer reasonable rates and actually take the time to evaluate and treat you properly.
Truly disappointed and beware.
Truly disappointed and beware.
I wasn't told of the cancellation policy when I signed up. After one month, I cannot cancel; it must be 2 months, so I must pay one more month, per the policy. Nor was I told that they have an app to view locations and doctors. Not once during the 10 visits did the chiropractors wash their hands or use hand sanitizer after the prior patient; they only changed the tissue paper that was over the face/head area.
My visits were at Winter Haven, FL, and Lakeland, FL.
I love the joint chiropractic in…
I love the joint chiropractic in cleveland and on Gunbarrel. Dr. Donnelly on Gunbarrel is amazing. He takes his time and customized each visit to what tye patient needs. He's one of 3 chiropractors that gets right between my shoulder blades and adjusts my neck perfect every time. I've been to dozens of chiropractors and am very pleased with this place and the price is so low that it's cheaper than using my insurance. I strongly suggest giving then a try if you haven't. Shelley :)
Matt is great
Matt is great! The price is great! You can just walk in. Opened till 7 pm. I just wish that had partitions for privacy for clients and the doctor. Everyone sitting in the chairs are watching you? Not too nice! Also I hope at some point that they get red light therapy! The doctor is only allowed take 10 or 15 min on each person. Every person needs more or less time depending on their issues! Hope things change because Matt is the best chiropractor I have ever had !
This place is a big rip off
This place is a big rip off. I kept trying to cancel my sons membership. They said I could not because I was not authorized (it was on my credit card). They finally told me how to cancel so I went in with my son to cancel. We did the electronic paperwork in the office. 3 months later I noticed they are still charging me $79 a month. He has not been there to use the service. they will not refund the $237 I paid and he only went once the month before so the last visit basically cost $316!!! Terrible customer service!
I have been to this place a few times
I have been to this place a few times. For the staff, they rotated every other time I was there. There was one person who was good, Jim. The rest were useless. He got moved after one or two visits. Stopped going there and went to a location in Dallas, which was better.
Well, when I want to cancel the subscription, the Dallas location told me that I can call my local one and they should be able to cancel it for me. I called them, and they told me I have to come in for a consultation. I told them that I am not interested and the Dallas location told me that I should be able to cancel over the phone, and they kept telling me that I have to come in.
Obviously, some scamming is involved in this business. Funny, they sent me the agreement form over email, but the cancellation I have to go there in person.
I had to go to urgent care as they…
I had to go to urgent care as they there was a contusion on my ribs on my left side. They basically said I sign a waiver that they are not responsible even for fractures. There is more but I just want to point out they basically said so sad but too bad.
you suckered me in for recurring…
you suckered me in for recurring automatic payments.
the first visit was good, the next 3 were nothing.!
a little thumping tool on the back is worthless.
this place is a nightmare
this place is a nightmare. I have never wrote a bad review but this time I have to.
I walked in for one adjustment, they trick me into a membership. After a bs adjustments from different "chiropractors" my very simple condition worsen and I decided to pay good money for my usual one.
they refused to take my termination notice, that I have to come back EXACTLY THREE DAYS AROUND THE TIME I originally signed up!
I rather never went back to get adjusted.
On THE day of the renewal I came to discontinue and they told me that they have to charge another month.
The receptionist was less than sympathetic.
They keep charging after finishing treatment
The doctors are fine and do a good job. That’s the reason for one star. But be careful with what you sign up for. Management only cares about taking your money. I thought I signed up for one month but was charged for an additional two months despite not using any services. I called to cancel but they would not let me cancel by phone, so I had to drive to the office to sign some stupid form. Ridiculous! Then I was contacted by email a day later and cancelled my contract but REFUSED to refund my two payments! What kind of business steals money from a senior citizen??? Buyer beware! I complained and am awaiting a response. I will update my review if they do the right thing.
I will not be going back
I will not be going back. I get no relief. They do not adjust my back at all. I think the girl spent a total of two minutes maybe and I even told her I had you before and you didn’t do the job and I got you again and you distill did not adjust my back so I will not be going back the one in Cleveland I give one star I just think it’s too quick of a process they don’t really work with you. They try to get you out as fast as possible and $55 for two minutes. It’s just too much I don’t like the process.
1/5 Stars -- Predatory Business…
1/5 Stars -- Predatory Business Practice that Stole $424 from me. DO NOT go here! Absolutely would not recommend this business.
I visited The Joint Chiropractic Marietta (1453 Terrell Mill Road SE, Marietta, GA 30067) on 02/11/25 with severe lower back pain and wanted just a single adjustment. The front desk agent told me that they do not do single adjustments, however what they could do for me is get me a single adjustment today, and then I would need to come back for four additional adjustments. However the additional adjustments would never expire and I could visit whenever. So, I agreed. It was initially $108 Dollars and I was required to sign 10 different documents (which should have been a red flag).
Unfortunately, the adjustment only made my back worse and I wound up actually herniating an additional disc. I had to go to the Wellstar Kennestone Emergency Room later that night where I was admitted because my back was so inflamed that I physically could no longer stand up. I was assigned an Orthopedic Surgeon who told me not to go back to Chiropractic Care and instead prescribed me Physical Therapy rehabilitation for a month afterword. When I was released from the hospital, I had called The Joint Chiropractic Marietta to tell them that my Orthopedic Surgeon declined for me to get chiropractic care and that I would not be returning and to cancel any plans or memberships.
Four months later, I found out that The Joint Chiropractic has continually been charging me $79 a month for their Wellness plan that I HAVE NOT been using. When I called The Joint Chiropractic Marietta on 06/27/25 to ask why I had been continually charged when I had called and told the receptionist that I wanted to cancel back in February, I thought that was it and it was done. Apparently, they didn't write it down or have it on record. I was called by one of the Managers, Sabrina, on 07/28/25, who said that all they could do for me was to wave the last $79 payment for June and that they would cancel my membership going forward. Even though I only visited once back in February, they feel charging me $424 is just and fair.
Absolute SCAM. If you want a membership-style Chiropractor, 100% Chiropractic is infinitely better. At least they can do a single emergency adjustment if needed.
I went to the office in Visalia and if…
I went to the office in Visalia and if there as a rating below #1- I would have used it. I was in horrible pain in my upper back close to the shoulder. One shoulder is higher than the other. I woke up two weeks ago with it huring and thought I must have slept wrong but the pain has grown and will not stop at all. I can't sleep unless I lay on my back in one position and if I move at all during the night I wake up with horrible pain. I called to see if I could get in for hopefully some relief. the doctor I saw was a woman and I didn't get her name but she was condesending and treated my like I was a child. I am 80 years old and I told her I'm not a cry baby but my pain is almost unbearable. She talked down to me most of the time and just kept telling me to breath deep and I told her it was really hard because of the severe pain I was suffering at the time. She told me I was going against science if I didn't believe breathing deep would take care of the pain. I told her it was constant and when I take tylenol or iboprophen it helps slightly but never goes away. I have a large knot right in the middle of where it hurts and some smaller ones up my neck. This woman stated it was just a muscle spasm and I asked how long would it be before the pain could subside some. He exact words were "well how long do you want it to take, its up to you" I asked what did she mean because I wanted relief now. she just smiled. She wanted me to lay face down on the bench like bed and told me to put my right knee on first and then lower myself. I tried but I have had a complete knee replacement in that knee and told her I couldn't but would have to use my left knee. She then asked "do you want to be here?" What kind of question is that. When I did get all the way down she started saying "good job Kathy" over and over,. I feel she was condsending and patronizing and treating me very rudely. I won't ever go back there and will never recommend them in fact tell people not to go there. Horrible treatment!
If you're considering using the joint…
If you're considering using the joint chiropractic clinic, Do your homework. In my past experience D.C have always started with x-rays. I suppose this is where i should've started pumping the brakes. I have recently moved to Tyler, Tx. So i set appointment with TJC and was treated by one of the Dr's. they were very friendly. No complaints in this area. Through the years i've used chiropractors many times in my lifetime. The chiropractic treatments last from time you walk in the door till you exit average about 5 minutes. They offer the fastest treatment procedure i've ever experienced. So, my complaint with this business consist of predatory business practices. Initially i bought the wellness pkg. (4) visits for around
$50.00.... I used those visits in under 2 weeks, then was asked if i was interested in purchasing another 4 visits for $79.00 I said ok. Here's where things went SOUTH between TJC & myself. I work between the hours of 2:00pm-2:00 am 6-7 days a week. At the end of this month i notice another UN-AUTHORIZED charge to my bank account. So I called the Tyler,TX. location and explained how upset i was about $79.00 being withdrawn. I had a lengthy conversation with office lady at Tyler,Tx location with no solution. She guaranteed me it would not happen again. So then i mentioned to her that since $79.00 purchases 4 visits that would allow me my 8 paid for visits. She said NO!!! I said i paid for them. She said if you don't use them in 30 days you lose them. I said i lose a service that i spent $79.00 for? At this point i said i want nothing to do with TJC and NO MORE eft's from my bank account. So, on friday may 9-2025 i look at my on-line bank account and there's another $79.00 Long story short, she said i had to come by office and sign a cancellation form. Guess what? furiously, i drove there and signed a form that was never explained to me prior to today... So, i'm out $158.00 and 8 chiropractor visits and praying these predators don't ding my bank account again... Take away from this experience, who knows? I cant go through life wondering when i'm going to be taken advantage of by a business in the community i live. hopefully this helps someone out there to remember to use your office visits and sign a cancellation form. Oh and now I remember the ruze they used for me to sign their sneaky contract was it was not a “contract” it was only an authorization for the chiropractor to administer treatment… be careful… I remember asking, this will not be used to withdraw money from my bank. They said, no they just needed banking information so they would have it for future visits… shame on me for being soo gullible
I love the Loveland joint
I love the Loveland joint! I would have continued to go there but I signed up with the Longmont joint. And only went there once for the sign up cuz I had a new boyfriend. Trying to get him in better shape. But no, I ended up being charged by Longmont not allowed to switch over to Loveland even though I'd been there for over a year and that's where I lived at the time. Plus I started out here as a traveling nurse. If I'm traveling I don't want to stay at the exact same place! They do not have a corporate number where you can give this complaint to either! Very upset with this issue. It seems like a lot of billing problems happen at the joint. From what I'm hearing from the internet. You get a great joint. You haven't made! You have to wait 6 months before you can sign up with another joint if you are not satisfied. They need a corporate number to complain to so that you're not seeing these reviews this way. So they can deal with it and understand what your situation is.
I went to the Aurora joint in Colorado and never had a problem! Some chiropractics are always better than others for your needs. So you pick your favorites and you go on the days they're there.
The Joint is a Joke
I had a one-month membership at The Joint in Springdale and initially, I was impressed. The first two visits were great — I saw the same doctor who listened, took his time, and I felt real improvement. However, the care quickly declined. Over the course of seven visits, I saw three different chiropractors. My last visit was with a man who did not listen to me at all. He adjusted my back in an extremely aggressive manner, despite me expressing my concerns and pain levels, and it resulted in much worse pain than I had to begin with.
I ended up seeking care elsewhere and had to spend over $400 at Millennium Chiropractic in Fayetteville just to get proper diagnostics, x-rays, and care to correct what was worsened by The Joint.
To make matters worse, canceling the membership has been a complete nightmare. I was charged again after my initial month and had to call multiple times to get help canceling. The only cancellation form they sent me forced me to choose the reason “I’m well now and no longer need care” — which is not true. I’m canceling because I was injured under their care. When I refused to sign something that felt dishonest, they finally told me I could come in and just write down my own reason on a piece of paper.
This has been a completely negative experience from start to finish — from the care I received to the way they handle cancellations. I would never recommend this location to anyone.
If you’re considering going
If you’re considering going to the joint chiropractic, read the contract watch your start and end date. If you think you have visits left for your last month there they didn’t honor two that I had left and they wanted to charge me $55. Otherwise the experience was OK
Rude and Dishonest
This review is for the Cataldo Square location. Following is a synopsis of an email sent to their general Admin:
I had a bad experience with your front desk admin, Hannah. I overheard that the office would be closed on Saturdays until further notice. I was not otherwise informed about the office closure situation, and there were no signs posted. I asked about the possibility of carrying over one appointment to the following month to account for the closure, since I live 30 miles south-west of town (Cataldo is the closest location). Without hearing my full request, Hannah interrupted by telling me that it was not an option. I asked to speak to an office manager who might have the ability to override, she denied me access to anyone, until finally belligerently telling me that a remote manager would get with me within seven days, yet I tried to point out to her that I only had four days to use one more appointment, yet they were closed two of those days and I was out of town the other two.
Hannah apparently called a “team lead” and flat out lied three times as I stood right in front of her, aghast at her blatant lies– for all in the office to hear. She told the “team lead” that I said "I have a life" and "unwilling to drive to another location" and said that I “threatened to post on every social media site”. None of those were true. Although I did say that if I had to fill out their in-house complaint form then wait seven days for a response, then I might as well exert the same effort to simply post a Google review – not EVERY social media site... On the other two items, I stated no such thing. Hannah flat out lied. And she dared to tell me she was using a “figure of speech” when I confronted her.
Needless to say, I cancelled upon the first opportunity to do so.
