We can't wait to get back into The Grape Variety to enjoy a great bottle of vino and their wonderful cheeseboards. Thomas, Matt and the team are so friendly and knowledgeable. We are always made to feel really welcome.

Charming Wine bar, excellently run with friendly and knowledgeable staff. Great fun and very interactive with customers. Highly recommend!

Great wine subscription, personalised service, quick delivery

A local gem. Perfect as a bottle shop for both wine and beers, and when we are allowed it’s a great spot to visit for a night out too.

We have been to the grape variety for drinks, for dinner, to purchase items from the shop and used the delivery service. TGV is a wonderful place, the staff are great and extremely knowledgeable. They have a fantastic selection of wines, craft beer and gin and the grazing boards are amazing.

Me and my partner love coming to the Grape Variety when we want to treat ourselves to a nice bottle and a cheeky glass of wine while we're browsing (would be rude not to!) The staff are all very friendly and knowledgeable, definitely recommend.

I used The Grape Variety to send wine as Christmas Gifts to my team. The wine was excellent value for money, well packed and arrived on time. They recommended a British Sparkling wine that everyone enjoyed including a French colleague.

The Grape Variety provide an excellent array of wines and also have the knowledge and advice on which wine to purchase for yourself/gifts/parties. I particularly enjoy eating in their cosy candlelit shop enjoying their platters accompanied with my favourite wines. It’s a perfect night out. The staff are always welcoming & friendly making the experience most enjoyable. Thank you GV 🍷🧀

This is an amazing place to get away when toured a break.

I've visited the Grape Variety a number of times for pizza night, for just drinks and to buy wine. I've always found the staff exceptionally helpful, knowledgeable and friendly.

The selection of drinks available is great. They have a good number of chilled whites which is super for picking up a bottle on the way home.

We have used the Grape Variety as a wine bar, shop and for deliveries since the day it opened. The wine and food are excellent, as is the service. I thoroughly recommend the wine tasting evenings too - can’t wait to get back!

Really friendly and informative service, great recommendations. I have a 12 bottle subscription and their monthly selections are always good.

Loved it relaxed but attentive service. Interesting food and wine... that’s what makes it different from everyday supermarket. Should consider regular offers eg free takeaway box when buying or eating in. Gives a chance to try products before buying.
Offer pleasant, exterior seating too. Live fresco music. Would be nice for regulars to be made to feel special they are more supportive during down times.
Offer wine and cheese tasting.

The Grape Variety is a total local gem. The staff and atmosphere make the whole experience fantastic whether you are popping in for a bottle of wine for dinner or staying for a fun evening with drinks and food boards. They have a great selection of different and interesting wines and are thoroughly knowledgeable about them all.
