Carole looked after my elderly mother on a visit to my house - her first trip out of her care home since the start of lockdown. Without Carole it would not have been possible. Unfortunately we all, including my mother and Carole contracted Covid, which made the whole thing a bit tricky. Carole was absolutely outstanding - patient, uncomplaining, attentive, kind, immensely competent and totally on top of her brief. It could have been a bit of a disaster, but we had a good visit. Thank you Carole.

Very thoughtful kind carers who have been with my mother in law for three years now. They provide home cooked food very day, with plenty of variety and patiently help her with feeding and personal care.
Care manager has always been available even at weekends and emergency cover always provided despite challenging conditions. When circumstances difficult, we have been.able to talk through options. Care plan detailed and accessible to me.

Excellent service from both a management (Elaine) and carer (Pedro) perspective. I felt reassured throughout the process and knowing that my father was in capable hands in my absence provided peace of mind. I would not hesitate to use The Good Care Group again.

I tried contacting them to set up emergency care but feel frustrated with the lack of response. I was told I would receive a call back but had nothing.

The Good Care Group have been providing care at home for my 97-year-old father for almost 3 weeks now. Prior to that, they were extremely supportive in helping us to get my father out of hospital, where he had been stuck for six and aa half weeks.

The carer that they supplied, Tamer, is very exceptional and I think that we have been very lucky to have him supplied to us. His care of my father is exemplary and he is extremely professional, knowledgeable, experienced and empathic. He very quickly fitted in and became a valuable part of our small family

In a nutshell, our plan as arranged by Elaine Thompson has been put in place and has gone brilliantly.

I am happy with the care provided by the care team and particularly, the relationship between the carers and my wife. Several times over the past three weeks, a number of people have commented on how good my wife is looking.

From my first phone call enquiring about live in care for my elderly relative, I have nothing but praise for the team at the Good Care Group. The carers have quickly established a relationship based on trust and often go the extra mile. At all times they behave professionally and it gives me real peace of mind to know that my relative’s needs are being met with genuine care and compassion. I particularly value the online daily notes as it lets me see at a glance how each day is going, with positives and issues being described honestly. Thank you.

GCG provide a live-in carer for my 90 year old father. We have been very happy with the carers provided and with the follow up contact with managers.

In challenging circumstanced our carers and care manager from TGCG are taking very good care of Dad.

My elderly relative returned home after a fall with live-in care provided by The Good Care Group. We considered several potential providers including some that were considerably less expensive, but concluded 'you get what you pay for'. The Carers have been fantastic with excellent support from the Care Managers and Fast Responder team. Highly recommended.

From my initial approach to The Good Care Group in London to enquire about respite care for my Mum, to seeing her live-in carer away last week, I have full praise for The Good Care Group. The administration was excellent, and everything happened when it was scheduled to do so, and was clearly explained and laid out. The carer match was excellent, and an immediate rapport was established with my Mum, and care was provided with compassion and attention to detail. Having cared for my Mum for the last 18 months, I was certainly in need of a break, and I quickly relaxed during the respite period knowing my Mum was in safe caring hands. I now feel confident to book further episodes of respite care, and will certainly use The Good Care Group, and hope to have the same carer back. Thank you to all those with whom I had contact or involvement-all great!

All In all we have had a good experience with The Good Care Group. The system we have is alternating between 2 carers: 6 weeks for one, then 2 weeks for the other. This has worked well, because tho we would like to keep our main carer permanently, (because she is so lovely) we do understand that she needs a rest! We didn't like the idea of a stream of different carers coming, which is a system some agencies use. We have a point of contact if there are any problems, but that has only happened once in 4 years, and was dealt with immediately, so I am confident that The Good Care Group will always be on hand to help.
Getting a carer in for the first time is daunting and very worrying but I am very glad that we did as it has made a huge difference to our lives.

The Good Care Group has now been responsible for the care of my mother for almost two years. She has always been a very independent person and, despite her needs, was very hesitant about having a live-in carer at the start. However, the company was absolutely great in figuring out how to address her concerns, taking time to home in on the most suitable approaches and personalities of carer for her. There is real warmth, trust and respect between her carers and her, and they are clearly very well trained and focussed on managing her various conditions as well as her overall wellbeing, sense of independence and personal space. I live overseas so I especially value the company's excellent approach to communication and, where required, consultation with me on my mother's care. Despite her deteriorating physical and mental condition, the sensitive, caring expertise of the Good Care Company allows my mother to enjoy day to day life with dignity.

We are so grateful we have discovered The GCG. The service they provide enables us to go on holiday and leave my dad with competent and trustworthy carers. The service they provide is excellent, the carers get excellent support from the management team and they do what they say will do. My Dad has Alzheimer's and I can trust that all the carers have appropriate training and understanding to enable them to care for him. He recently had to be admitted for a short stay in hospital whilst we were away and I felt completely confident that the carer could deal with everything and remained at our house until he was discharged so we didn't have to interrupt our holiday, Can't recommend them highly enough.
