We got a whole new heating system put in. All the workers were amazing, very professional, clean, considerate people who were in the house. They did not stop working from the moment they arrived until they were finished. One work person stayed late to make sure we had heating, another came back to check something that he was not sure of. Would highly recommend these workers to anyone who is thinking about changing their heating system

The team did a stellar job
The team did a stellar job replacing all the radiators in my house and installing a new combi boiler to replace the ancient back boiler. All the team were polite and very efficient and took the time to explain the new installation when done and communication in advance was also good. They were also patient with my over excited dog! If you’re thinking of having a new or…
If you’re thinking of having a new or replacement boiler installed I can highly recommend EBC. I was going to give you the full story of my experience but thought bullet points would be easier.
* Martin (obviously a very experienced engineer) arrived as arranged.
* Completed installation, but no hot water, Martin suspected a faulty diverter valve in the new unit and organised Worcester/Bosch engineer callout.
* Next day Worcester/Bosch engineer tested everything and said there was nothing wrong with the boiler, there must be something wrong elsewhere.
* Called EBC, Martin came back the same day and rechecked everything and still maintained it was that valve to blame.
* I then phoned Worcester/Bosch direct and while I was listening to them telling me an engineer would call round in 3 days time, EBC phoned me.
* Gracie (Office manager) told me to tell Worcester/Bosch to forget it as between Gracie and Martin they have managed to obtain the necessary valve.
* Martin called round later the same day, fitted a new harvested valve and everything started working perfectly as it should.
So in summary I just wanted to say a big thank you to all at EBC. Gracie, who either has magical powers, a big stick or perhaps both for doing things behind the scenes to get results, and to Martin who went to extraordinary lengths making sure my wife and I were without hot water for as short a time as possible.
It’s reassuring to know there are still some companies are willing to go the extra mile to sort problems out for their customers, even when it wasn’t their fault.
One word of warning If Martin is doing a job for you, stock up with plenty coffee, he does like a cup or 2 or 3. Perhaps that’s how he can manage to keep working from morning to night.

While this installation certainly threw up an unexpected challenge, we’re incredibly proud of the way Martin and Gracie worked together to get it resolved and minimise the time you and your wife were left without hot water.
Martin deserves huge credit for trusting his experience, returning the same day, continuing to investigate and ultimately being proven right about the faulty diverter valve. Equally, it sounds like Gracie’s combination of “magical powers and a big stick” worked perfectly behind the scenes to source the part and get Martin back to you without having to wait another three days!
Problems can occasionally happen, even with brand-new equipment. For us, what matters is how we respond when they do. Your comment about EBC being willing to go the extra mile, particularly when the original issue wasn’t of our making, means a great deal to us. That level of aftercare and ownership is exactly what we want our customers to experience.

Edi Boiler Company, highly recommend for renewable home systems
Edi Boiler Company have just installed solar panels and batteries, and a heat pump for us. From the initial survey and quote, through support with the heat pump funding application, the team were highly professional and knowledgeable. They tailored the design to our needs and house, and were always on hand to answer questions by phone or email.
The installation of both systems was smooth and quick, with a special mention for Scott, Lewis and Dan, the heat pump team, who went the extra mile on the heat pump placement and very neat finishes with the pipe work inside and out.
The solar team were also highly efficient and left a well-finished installation.
The aftercare has been great, from both the office and technical teams. The technical leads, Scott (heat pump) and Duncan (solar), took the time to explain the functioning of the new systems and apps, with lots of useful advice.

Heat pump install
Everyone was super friendly and knowledgeable, from first sales visits, quotes, heating calculations and office support. Installing heat pump and replacing all pipework and radiators was a mamoth job but the installers were very efficient. I thought it would be much more disruptive than it was. Hopefully nice and cosy now for winter and no more heating oil!

Called in an engineer to look at a programming problem
Called in an engineer to look at a programming problem , the appointment was confirmed for the next day , and the engineer ( Paul ) duly arrived along with trainee . The problem was discussed in depth and resetting the programmer was carefully explained to myself and my wife . The preferred temperature and time settings were confirmed and set up . Paul spent time with us explaining the correct procedures for programming our EPH CP4 controller how. Greatly appreciated and a very good service from the Edinburgh Boiler Company .

Brilliant service from start to finish
Brilliant service from start to finish, A full survey was carried out at the initial visit with various options discussed about the placement of the panels ( 28 in total), along with the Sigenergy inverter and batteries. The scaffolding was arranged the day prior to the instal, the installation took 2 days as planned, looks brilliant, really happy with the look and performance of the system. The engineers carrying out the work were very professional, polite and efficient. Would definitely recommend..

Warranty repair sorted without fuss
Had a warranty repair done on my heating system (a pressure valve was faulty), it wasn't urgent so it was a little while between raising the issue and getting it booked in to be fixed but on arrival, Scott the heating engineer sorted the issue promptly.
