Ordered a book from thedomchek. Their info states, "We don't sell ebook". After asking about changing the mailing address... I received a reply to download my ebook. $14.00 down the drain.
This site just needs to be shut down.
You will not receive anything if you order from this site.
Found only two complaints on the BBB,.. but 23 here!?! You all need to post to the BBB.

I wish I had googled this site before purchasing. 100% a scam. Clearly says on website "we do not sell ebooks" and yet, that is what they send you a link to. BS.

My experience seems to be same as everyone else's. I ordered a book, waited for 10 days and never received the book or a shipping notice. When I emailed them, they told me I had to download an ebook, which I didn't want and they won't do returns! I'm sure their website said nothing about this being an ebook. I would much prefer an actual book so I will probably end up ordering another copy from another vendor! Not happy!

Scam site? Ordered, never received anything. Paypal should dump them.

SCAM SCAM SCAM. I Purchased a book from thedomchek. No communication. Book, which only later found out was digital although no indication when purchasing, was never delivered in any form. Tried to contact the domchek multiple times. No response by phone or email.

Scam. When contacted they say they only sell digital books. But there is no indication of the his when you buy. No refunds.
Report their misconduct.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS WEBSITE. It is an absolute scam, and I am so sorry to all of the customers who have fallen for it. It is 100% fraudulent. I place an order 10 days ago but never received any shipping confirmations or any replies after contacting them 3 x's. I've reported them to the FBI - hopefully the site gets taken down!

Like the others I was scammed and thought uI was ordering a physical book. Luckily I paid with PayPal, so the dispute and refund process will be easy, just time consuming (2ish weeks wait). The phone number listed on the PayPal transaction is as follows:

I think this is a scam. No where does it state you are not getting a real book. I messed up and ordered twice. I asked for a refund or credit. Their response was there are no refunds on ebooks. That is when I realized I paid twice for nothing!!

Do not order from them! It’s no double a scam. I ordered a book from them, didn’t receive any confirmation email or follow-up tracking info. After 2 weeks of silence, I reached out with no response. Fortunately, my credit card was able to refund the payment. But that’s not excuse for their unethical operation. Also, Google really shouldn’t receive money from scammers to showcase illegal advertisements.

I experienced the same as everyone else - a few weeks after ordering, I was wondering where my book was. I did some digging around and found that it is indeed a PDF download of a likely pirated book. Nowhere on the site did it mention that I was not buying a hardcopy. The name of the company on my credit card statement was also a woman's name which is odd. I have emailed thedomchek for a refund and also submitted it to the FTC and Better Business Bureau. I hope the site gets taken down.

Bought and paid for a book, believing it was a physical book. Nowhere did it indicate that they were selling a digital copy and not an actual book. It took a month to get a response from them.

Same experience as others. TheDomchek advertised a book as a hardcopy. Nothing was mentioned about an ebook. In their FAQ's they specifically stated they "Do not sell ebooks". After 10 days and not receiving my book I searched my spam mail and located an email with a link for a download of an ebook. I did NOT order an e-book and have attempted to contact them on several occasions, both by phone which goes to voicemail and email with no response.

Wish I had checked with Trust Pilot first. My experience was the same as the others. They advertised a book as a hardcopy. Nothing said about a digital download, until I requested shipping info over a week after paying online. They sent an email telling me there was a link in the confirmation email from which I could "download" the book. Huh? I did NOT order an e-book. Nothing said about that in the original order.

There is no link in my original email which yields a downloadable book. They also have different spellings of their business name on their website. Thedomchek vs Thedomcheck.

I thought it was a used hardcopy. Nothing was said about an e-book. Anyway, there IS NO e-book.

Just skip over them.

Never got my book and never once did they respond to my emails or phone calls. I finally disputed the transaction on my credit card.

SCAM. do not buy. These are pirated e-books, or no books at all.

I Ordered a book weeks ago, they took the money and never sent me my book. I called them they did not call back I emailed them they will not respond! Horrible experience and they are crooks!!!!!

It is illegal to sell downloads of copyrighted books. This is what ThedomCheck is doing and they are committing fraud. If they have tried to scam you do the following:
1. Start a dispute with your credit card or bank
2. File an online complaint with the Federal Trade Commission.
3. Contact the Attorney General in California
4. File a complaint with the Better Business Bureau in San Diego, CA

What this company is doing is illegal!!
