Needed my CV heavily improving...
Needed my CV heavily improving so applied on a CV site, to which Adam from CV Specialists was the quickest to get back to me.
From there, he went through everything he felt i could improve on my CV and how i can make myself stand out more as a person and the way my CV could show that.
The overall experience has been quick and easy. He's guided me through each phase step by step and i purchased a great deal package with them also.

The only company to contact me and helped me through every stage of the process,which for me was a big help. I asked for a couple of changes which were rectified straight away.For anyone struggling with writing a CV I would recommend Adam and his team.

There were dates that were incorrect and lots of spelling mistakes...
I was initially happy with the service but when I read the CV I realised they had just transferred a lot of the job descriptions I'd fudged myself on to the new cv. I was expecting it re-writing. There were dates that were incorrect and lots of spelling mistakes. When I asked them to review it and mentioned the spelling mistakes I presumed the second time it came back they would have been removed but they weren't. I also requested for mini descriptions of all my jobs for Linked In profile as they had only done the last few job roles and I was told the job is now complete so I've had to write these up myself. My overall feelings were that the company are pretty average but you get what you pay for and they are at the cheaper end of the market I guess. If you want something that stands out, go elsewhere.

We were really disappointed to read your review and the 3 stars you have given, especially as we believe we have gone above and beyond to accommodate your requests.
After a long consultation with your CV writer, you expressed that your CV and cover letter be tailored towards a particular type of role, within a specific industry. You were quite clear on the type and level of role you were hoping to apply for and requested your documents were specifically aligned to it. Your initial CV was delivered back to you on the 23rd of March within our 5 working day timeframe.
You then reached out to us over 3 weeks later requesting revisions to your documents. Although this fell outside of the allocated revision time, (as stated on our terms and conditions on our website), we were happy to work with you to accommodate the changes you asked for. At the revision stage you requested your CV and cover letter now be altered towards a different industry and role from which you had previously specified. Your writer made you aware of your original brief. The revisions involved a significant rewrite; however, we were happy to make the alterations for you at no extra charge. The revised documents were sent back to you, at which point you requested some further revisions. Again, your CV writer worked with you to really try to understand what you were asking for and delivered the revised documents back to you. You replied back by email to say they were ‘great’ and how pleased you were with them.
You then reached out some two weeks later for help with your LinkedIn profile, specifically on how to navigate around the LinkedIn platform. Your CV writer kindly emailed you with some helpful instructions on how to use the LinkedIn platform. Again, this is not something we would normally do but were happy to help.
Some two months after your initial CV had been delivered, you then got back in touch asking for further revisions to your LinkedIn profile. The LinkedIn profile written by your CV writer included summaries for roles dating back over the last 18 years. You requested for summaries to be written for roles spanning back over a 30 year period. It was explained to you that the details you were requesting were not required in your LinkedIn profile and would add no value.
We really have tried everything possible to satisfy your requests, even when they fell outside of our terms and conditions. We have tried our very best, as we always do, to work with you all the way through the process, answering your many requests. Some two months after your delivery date, having not heard back from you, your order was marked as complete as no further revisions were requested.
We pride ourselves on offering an affordable high quality professional writing service at competitive rates, our results speak for themselves, as is evidenced by our overwhelming 5 star customer reviews on this site. In this case we just do not know what we could possibly have done differently to satisfy your requests. The documents that were delivered to you were of high quality, written from scratch and were free from spelling mistakes and errors.

Thanks for updating my CV it's excellent to say the very least.
They state it can take around 5 days to complete mine was done in less time.
I honestly thought my old CV was ok, it looked fine , I couldn't have been more wrong ,having it done professionally is worth every penny. It looks amazing and when I need it updating I shall use them again.
