Had my CV done by the Cv guru. Response was really quick and communication was great. CV was done really quickly as well. Would definitely recommend anyone to use them!

£350 Executive CV service.... No! just don't pay for this service! Having communicated via email after a poor service elsewhere, the process started and within days went wrong. After raising concerns about a very poor CV, another writer enlisted and again, the quality, the substance and the detail, was not worth paying for. Coloured headers, repetitive statements, poorly displayed. After complaining again, it was clear CV Guru were unable to offer a professional service and after much of my time being wasted and refusal to resolve my concerns, they refunded only half my money. So its cost me money, time and i wont get it back.

Its also clear they have the ability to remove reviews!!

NO MATTER ..What their cleverly worded responses is to this review, do not believe them and use another company. They are not capable of executive level CV's. Sorry but very true!!!

There was a lot of back and forth with all the document versions. He listened and understood, amending each draft as we progressed to the final version.

I waited to leave this review as wanted to see if my CV gets positive feedback. It has been 3 weeks since I have been applying with the CV Guru version. I have yet to hear any positive feedback and that is just me being honest. They cannot give job guarantee understandably! Now its down to my luck!

Otherwise the process was good. He was patient throughout all my change requests. There is room for improvement in terms of industry specific experience.
As in, they should have more people who can give role specific advice on what would be better on the CV, that is the entire point of getting it done professionally. Regardless I would recommend it, if you are making your CV for the first time. Mine was recent career change with 3 years experience in the new role, so it was a little complicated.

My LinkedIn profile has been improved a lot from before.
