I wanted to produce a family memoir and was recommended to The Book Typesetters by a writer friend. Thanks to Nat and Rachael, the process was simple, enjoyable, transparent, speedy and reasonably priced. I am thrilled with the final product

I am very impressed by the quality and the professional expertise. Communication was clear, and (most important) responses were timely. Highly recommended!

The Book Typesetters have designed two books of mine for Shoestring Press, and when I wanted to publish one myself I didn't shop around. I went straight to Nat and Rachael and they saw me through the more demanding new experience of self-publishing, promptly answering all my questions. I'm very happy with the book.

Efficient and supportive in all departments , not lease in design. I was delighted by the imaginative cover for my new collection of poems and tte attention given to proofing

Such a fantastic experience - professional and friendly with fantastic communication. Can't recommend highly enough.

Nat and Rachael are amazing. I wanted to publish my own book and I met them through the Newark Book Fair where they were running a seminar on how to get published. Using the Affinity software they recommend I took my book from handwritten texts and illustrations to a "real book". I was 8 when I started working with them and I have published my book just six months later. They were with me every step of the way whenever I needed help, e.g. choosing publishing routes, using the software and setting up my book for printing. Their customer service was incredible and they are so nice and friendly to work with. I HIGHLY recommend them.

Nat and Rachael are excellent typesetters. So professional. They are calm, patient and lovely to work with. They are prompt and efficient. They understood exactly what I needed and helped me create a lovely children’s picture book.

This is the third time I've worked with The Book Typesetters and, as usual, their work was exemplary. The eBook was completed earlier than scheduled and of very high quality in time for publication today. I didn't need to ask Nat to design a cover this time, but when he did for a previous print book of short stories, his work was imaginative and entirely as requested. I can't recommend them highly enough.

If I could give ten stars to the Book Typesetters, I would. They created a cover for me that literally blew me away. I usually do my own covers, but not any more: it's Nat and Rachael at Typesetters in future.

My experience with The Book Typesetters has been excellent. They are prompt, efficient and very good at their job. They also sustain a very supportive relationship with their clients and always go that extra mile. Highly recommended.

I have been involved in creating a graphic novel from a story created in collaboration with a group with learning difficulties. The Book Typesetters have been a pleasure to work with, first with advice on how to accomplish such a genre and then with the actual creation of the novel based on the three hundred or so images we had to work with. There has been an good level of clear and useful communication throughout with Nat and Rachael sending me their excellent visual interpretations of the novel, waiting on my responses, occasionally changing things around when necessary and then pushing forward getting the whole book finished in just over a month. I would highly recommend them!

The Book Typesetters did an expert job on my Shoestring Press poetry collection, 'Journey into Space.' With its wrap-around ERIC RAVILIOUS image of Cuckmere Haven, they created a book cover that is beautiful and inviting. I hope that the poems do justice to their production. I'm extremely grateful for their care and seemingly infinite patience, particularly regarding the layout of the book's content. Thank you Nat and Rachael.

What a great team to work with. I’d highly recommend them. A joy from start to finish.

I am so very pleased with my Dog Days and so pleased, so grateful for your part in this - your skill, your kindness, your professional approach. You get it just right. When it all started, John Lucas told me how wonderful you are, and of course he was absolutely right.

A big thank you to The Book Typesetters. I’d hoped to self publish a children’s story book, had my text and illustrations but no idea what to do next. The Book Typesetters were recommended to me and from the very first email, Rachael and Nat were so helpful and friendly. They completely understand I was on a tight budget and offered me a package I could afford to pull my book together and create my cover. Rachael was so lovely to talk to about the design ideas I had and helped to make them a reality. I can’t believe my book is now on Amazon and that’s all that’s to Rachael and Nat. I’d very much recommend them and would love to work with them again in the future if I ever self publish again.

This company is professional, friendly, helpful, efficient and absolutely brilliant at their work. They led me through the complexities of producing a wonderful hardback book and their work was outstanding.
I would highly recommend them.
Many thanks

I have had minimal input into the production of my previous books. Offhand, I can only remember insisting that my Oxford Playhouse history had to have a dark blue cover NOT the proposed light blue one!
So it was a joy to discover and work with the husband and wife team who run The Book Typesetters on my latest.
Nat Ravenlock devised the perfect typescript to give cohesion to the wacky series of articles and images that make up my tongue-in-cheek memoirs, A Tenpenny Dip in Paradise and other flights of fancy.
Rachael Ravenlock translated the mundane raw material I gave her into an absolutely stunning, eye-catching cover.
I look forward hopefully to calling on their services again.

Although I have recently given a 5star review I felt I had to, perhaps unconventionally, give a review based on the comments that have been made to me about the quality of the book cover which is proudly hung on my wall. When comments are made by others not involved in the production really highlights the quality of the work.
