I had a mixed experience doing the AICore bootcamp with a place funded by the government. While it was great to get the free place, the deadlines imposed for the funded place were ridiculously tight, and I wasn’t properly informed what the deadlines were when I signed up. This meant I just had to cram complex info to pass the tests, which meant I didn’t really take in a lot in a meaningful way and forgot most of it afterwards.

I rate the first part of the course - python basics - as mostly excellent. The concepts were introduced bit by bit and explained well, and the practicals meant I got to practice and understand what I was learning. It was great to do the project and I got very helpful detailed feedback from the support team.

However I was mostly unimpressed by the data analyst pathway. Many of the concepts were not explained at a basic enough level initially and there were a lot fewer practicals. It felt like being given a textbook to read and teach myself, and mostly not a very well written textbook. As I had a free place I accepted it but I would be seriously annoyed if I’d paid over £7k.

Although it’s advertised as suitable for people with no experience a lot of the support team and the extra classes put on seem to assume a baseline understanding of core concepts in programming and data, so felt inaccessible. Some of the support team were great at explaining things simply but some couldn’t explain things in a way I understood and I ended up using chat GPT to get help, which was much more efficient.

I think there are certainly good things about the course, however a lot of the teaching of concepts could be improved a lot. I don’t think the quality of teaching is good enough to justify spending over £7k on it.

The support people are lovely, but a lot of them have just finished the course "Alumni Engineers" they're called. A 10 minute call ends up being 2 hours of back and fourth on the chat. There is a reason why teaching is a skill.

The questionnaire that they make you do to "decide" on what course they will put you on is not real, I was told I was put onto my course because Data Engineering was full.

The customer support person did not apologies and made me feel like they were doing me a favour which I didn't like.

The videos and course content is very basic and you spend most of your time elsewhere researching it.

The training that AICore provided was second to none. The immersive journey they took me on was both educational and eye opening. The training team are so helpful and there is no issue too small for them to give you 100% of there time. I am so glad to have experienced the time i had with the team.

It was a nice journey . A bit too demanding at times as I needed to finish within a certain timeline. However, I grasped a good background knowledge on how to be a starting data analyst.

Whenever I had a question the responses were quick which helped a lot, especially when doing the projects.

I had a very good learning experience at AiCore. The course helped me to land a dream job. I learnt many tools and technologies that I considered impossible to learn on my own. At AiCore every concept is broken into small parts and explained very well such that even a layman would understand it.

As a part of career support they helped me prepare my resume, LinkedIn and GitHub profile and helped me with mock interviews. The only part where I was disappointed was that in the beginning when I had enquired about the career support, they had mentioned that they will provide interview opportunities due to which I was ready to invest on career support but they did not provide any interview opportunities with any companies. I had to apply for jobs on my own.

Apart from this I did enjoy the course and every activity that was held at AiCore. Also people at AiCore are very friendly and very encouraging. They take feedback seriously and work on it to improve themselves. Overall it was a very good experience and I would surely recommend the course to others.

Before AiCore I had a solid foundation in Data Science, Python and SQL but I lacked experience/background in the field.

I decided to join the course in order to bridge the gap and ended up pursuing the Data Engineering specialism to broaden my understanding of the data stack. During this time I met a very friendly and knowledgeable team of engineers that supported me throughout my studies. Moreover, their head of careers was there throughout my job hunt checking in on me and providing support as and when I needed it.

Anyway, long story short, I got hired by an amazing company as a Data Engineer and I am very excited by what the future holds.

It's a very competitive market now and, regardless of your knowledge, getting an opportunity to prove yourself when you don't have the background is hard. Thankfully, AiCore provided the leg up I needed - I can't thank them enough.

N.B. My recommendation and experience is strictly limited to the Data Engineering specialism as I had no contact with the other courses offered. Also, please bear in mind, these courses aren't magic bullets, they're fantastic at providing the tools and support but, ultimately, you really do have to be committed and willing to put the work in.

I like the detail on the course, but necessarily not everything is perfect, but the speed and quality of the help when I have queried things has been really great.

I signed up for the AiCore as I was unsatisfied with my job and overall career prospects. I wanted to transition into the field of data and machine learning and AiCore seemed like it offered the perfect pathway to achieve that. The program is very well-structured and caters to all different levels. Not only is the team helpful with the course content, but they also provide valuable career advice and even help prepare you for interviews. With this help, I managed to land a job as a data scientist and I haven't even finished the final project yet!

I would definitely recommend the AiCore to anybody looking to make the move into the world of AI and Data.

Fantastic experience and landed a job!

Oustanding overall experience with getting up to speed and job ready - much better than self-learning as they give you a direction and industry relevant skills. The best thing about them is the almost instant response to any issues/ any explanations needed. When self learning I used to be stuck on a simple task for days, AICore would solve any issues and explain the process to me much much quicker. The teachers are great and very knowledgeable and was hired within a month of completing the course

Quick get a job

Great format for those that need structured educational content in all things related to python programming and more. I believe that is their biggest strength. They recently introduced the £1K promise for those that that don't get hired within the 6 months of graduating the course... which is quite a nice insurance! I recommend to apply earlier on in your career-switch and make sure to complete the projects (to GitHub portfolio ready status). Recommend the monthly payments.

For someone switching from a background in finance to tech, I don’t think there’s other program out there that’ll beat Aicore for a long time, the engineers are amazing, they simplify big tech jargons and render proper explanation to your queries while making sure you are carried along with the hands on projects rendered during the program.

Great level of teaching without spoon feeding you the information. The projects are thorough and are update with what's happening in market. You get a great depth of learning in becoming a data engineer and the skills you develop strongly relate to the current market.

AiCore has been an excellent experience for me so far. Over the past 3 months, I have learned many of the core skills vital to a career in tech and I continue to gain tech-based knowledge every day. The teaching is hands-on and there is daily support from the staff. I had issues with getting help in the data course I previously joined, I moved to AiCore. So if you are trying to find your way into the tech/data industry, look no further than AiCore.

My experience at AICore was incredibly informative and imparted skills you aren't likely to pick up doing similar courses.

Rather than spoon-feed you content the team encourages you to "get your hands dirty" and enhance your problem solving skills. However, it balances a pragmatic approach with a comprehensive array of educational material and a support staff readily responding to any queries one might have.

Regular delivery of industry specific commentary and lectures covering different facets of technology makes for a complete experience.

The team at AiCore delivers quite a comprehensive course in Machine Learning helping people of all skill levels develop the most up to date competencies to meet the demands of today's tech industry. They have a dedicated team of teachers who provide timely assistance to any student when requires. I would recommend AiCore to anyone who wants to break into the tech industry.

There are a number of guided projects, the students participate on the course. To me personally, this is the best way to learn when we want to apply the learnings onto a job immediately.

There is always someone to support me with the issues I have encountered and explain me the best practices - like we could learn in a co-working space.

I have not been able to attend the evening sessions due to my working hours, but the community is vibrant and there is a lot of opportunities to learn there.

I really enjoyed my time with AiCore! The instructors were very helpful and friendly, and I met some great people during the course.

I really appreciate that the course is constantly listening to feedback and evolving, making it feel like cutting-edge learning.

I now feel able to creatively solve a whole new domain of problems, which previously I barely knew anything about, it's a great feeling :).

While applying for jobs I heard from employers that the skills I had learned as a data engineer were very applicable and useful, which was very heartening!

It was a lot of hard work, but totally worth it, thank you for your encouragement and giving me the tools I needed to get a job!

It took me 6 months to work through the course content part-time, and then an additional 4 months of job searching and continued upskilling before being accepted for a new role.

Having heard of Data Science before I was interested in the area but was unsure of how to make a start. AiCore offers a structured, up-to-date course that prepares you for the data sector.

The content itself established a good foundation for coding in Python and provides a guideline for a portfolio of industry grade projects.

The amount of support in learning and building projects from the team is incredible, and there is a real sense of community as I went to the online meetups.

I would thoroughly recommend AiCore for anyone interested in starting a career around Data!
