When we got the car back it was great. The only annoyance was the time it took to get the car back. Apparently the issue was that they were waiting for a part.

Fantastic customer service. Really easy to book in repair which is exactly what you need in the circumstances. Spot on, can’t fault. The only reason I’ve not given you a full 5 stars is I asked for my number plate not to be replaced and it was.

The whole experience was pain free and to my surprise my Van was ready 10 days early so over the moon with service..

The bodywork was fine and the car was cleaned before returning it to me, but the lack of organisational skill and professionalism in getting my car picked up and a courtesy car delivered was dreadful. I arranged a date for this three weeks in advance, but on the day they just didn't turn up. I waited in for 3 hours before ringing them to be told that they wouldn't be coming. They did the same to me the next day, and on the third day I explained that I would be leaving for work at 1pm. At 1230 I had to ring them (again), and the car was 20 miles away. The courtesy car turned up at 1258, and the driver needed signatures and photos. This was extremely badly organised from start to finish and I will be complaining to my insurance company for selecting this business.

Great customer service, my car was repaired quickly and I was very pleased with the result.

A fantastic team, who always kept me in the loop. Then they delivered my car which hasn't looked as good since it was new. Thank you!

This is from me as a Customer fully expecting a replacement car if things go bad.
Things went bad. We were told that someone would come and look at the car but actually no one did. They took the damage from notes that I had put on their software and photos that I had uploaded. This could be a case of the people we rent the car being different from the people fixing the car.
2 months later we actually got a replacement car? That's a long time to be without a car! We think that they believed the car was drive'able but some kind of plate underneath the car was dropping down and as time went on it dropped lower and lower! Driving that around is just asking for problems and would probably make the issue worse.
Anyway, the web application you log into to see the latest details, order a replacement, etc etc looks really good and could be useful but I don't think the dates that I put down for them to take the car or provide a replacement car was ever met.

What I did work out is that whenever they phoned us up with an update we would also get an email to check the website for the latest updates...which never existed but we had to log on anyway just in case. We appreciated the phone calls though.

By the way the replacement car which we've probably had for two weeks only out of the three months of this car issue was okay, but how you opened the boot I have no idea! We couldn't work out how to turn off the child lock on the back right passenger door either... It was also a petrol car ...I kind of was expecting the replacement car to be a like for like. They took away an electric car and replaced it with a petrol. I mean, there is nothing saying that it would be a like for like but I kind of expected it. The fact that we only had it for a couple of weeks in the three months of no electric car is the worst thing.

The two stars are really for them always being polite, they dropped off the car and picked it up at our locations, and they do try to keep you updated, although calling them back can be a nightmare. However, my expectations are definitely short ...but it might not even be their fault...

The work was done to a high quality and in a timely manner

If I could put 0 or a minus value I would! ARH Emsworth are diabolical. Caused so much stress, lied about timings, incompetent at dealing with a brand new car. My car went to them beginning of Dec 2025 and I get it back tomo (end of July 2026)......8mths after the accident - mental! The first repair (if that's what it can be called) took 4-5mths. The first courtesy car they gave me took 7 days to get after the accident and I only got it because I went to get it, because they were short staffed. That car then broke down coming off the motorway with my three young children, in minus degree weather, so they were freezing on the side of the road.

When I received the car back they had stuck bits back on, reused scuffed bits, left it in their warehouse where they weld, so was covered in rust specs, etc. I took it straight to MG, who had no obligation to help but they took over and made sure it got sorted to the correct standard. MG went above and beyond - think they may have a customer for life. The experience with ARH courtesy of FMG / Tesco has been so awful and has led to me being very ill after 8mths of pushing. Avoid, avoid, avoid!! Just so you know regardless of who your insurer uses as their main repairer, under the consumer rights 2015 you can ask to have your car taken to a garage of your choosing. Wish I'd pushed harder, now knowing this.

Staff very helpful and friendly and quick service. My car was taken in for repair as it was damaged by another vehicle when brought back to me one of back lights was broken which I noticed and I wasn’t told this had happened whilst in their workshop or apologised to !!! I noticed a slight dent on side of car which I pointed out when brought back to me which was going to be looked at and when the car was dropped off to me today it wasn’t visable in pictures they took when they first took my car and the guy who brought it back to me told me this and basically said the manager said it wasn’t their problem!!! By the way the so called manager has never had any communication with me let alone to sort things out with me or apologise for damage done whilst car was in their care .

Smooth process from start to finish, informative communication from company as to progress of repair.

Repair not completed at first attempt. Poor paint touch up on second attempt. No communication to update on repair timeline. I would not use them again.

I was kept up to date throughout the whole process. My car was delivered back to me looking brand new can't thank everyone enough for all there hard work throughout a stressful worrying time thank you x
