Having had a bad experience with another company that was slightly cheaper I decided to go with the AA. I’m so glad I did as the transaction was smooth and also I was able to speak to a person on the phone to check a detail.

As already an established client with the AA for my car insurance I thought it may be a good idea to try them with my house insurance. I find it difficult insuring my house because it is a farmhouse with many outbuildings and garages. I experienced the same problems with the AA so just ended up insuring the farmhouse and not really knowing if any of my garages are also included. I rang the AA and spoke to a male who spoke perfect English. He found my policy promptly and answered all of my questions confirmed my policy covered everything I required to be covered. Very helpful. Very happy with everything.

Efficient service,hassle free

Going smoothly until I bought a new car. They said they cannot change my insurance from my original car to my new one. After a couple of days and multiple phone calls with about 5-10 different agents they said it’s a technical error the underwriter cannot fix. so I had to cancel the policy. Within that time I’ve had to buy temp cover which was over £100 for the week. I’ve have also had to pay for a months insurance for a car I’ve sold already aswell.. Each time the call ends you have to go through the whole long cycle of answering questions to an AI bot that takes over 10 minutes to get through. Then when you finally get answered your put with a different agent who doesn’t have a clue what they’ve just walked into so you have to give all your details again. I also have lost half a years no claims because of this. I was 6 months into the policy. I have only got 2 years no claims and it’s very valuable to keep your no claims bonus going as a new driver. Thanks a lot AA 👎
