Absolutely amazing mediation. Lauren has gone above and beyond. I have been kept informed every step of the way.

I recently used the AA Mediation service to help manage my case to return a used vehicle back to a dealer that had a serious mechanical fault. It was my daughter's first car as a learner driver and she had spent all her savings on it, so when the engine failed after only a few months it was devastating.
Without the persistence and professionalism of the AA Mediation service I don’t think we would have got to a positive conclusion and got my daughters money back. Throughout the process I dealt with Lauren Mack from the AA Mediation team who was extremely efficient and professional in dealing with the case. Her regular updates, clear communication and tenacious efforts to help get to a positive conclusion were second to none. Lauren is a credit to the AA Mediation team, so again a massive thank you!

I am very grateful for the assistance and professionalism of Grace from your mediation team. I was in dispute with a car dealer regarding the full refund of a vehicle with multiple faults that they were repeatedly unable to resolve. Through her endeavours, Grace was able to educate the dealer regarding their obligation under the Consumer Rights Act and their commitment to the AA Dealer promise. She helped turn a negative experience with the Dealer into a positive endorsement of the influence of the AA.

You advertise cars in stock to get people to sign up, when in fact they are not in stock, then you lie about when they are to receive the car by giving them a date. Couple of days later you get told there not in stock.but don't worry it may be along in 2 months time.

I used Lauren to mediate with a dealer who refused to refund me for a car. Autotrader and trading standards could not help. Lauren managed to get the dealer to do the the refund within 2 weeks. Fantastic service coming from the mediation team. I cannot commend them enough. Well done for the excellent service.

We signed up to AA Cars in December but hadn’t really made use of many of the products. Abigail contacted me this week and explained all the tools we needed help with, including some we didn’t even know about. She was extremely helpful and made everything easy to understand. Highly recommended.

The AA continues to advertise and associate with a car dealer I personally had a very serious and negative experience with. Despite raising concerns and providing details about the issues I encountered, the dealer remains advertised and promoted.

In my case, the vehicle I purchased was later found through independent diagnostics and inspection to have multiple serious faults and undisclosed issues. I raised these concerns previously yet no visible action appears to have been taken.

Consumers reasonably trust the AA name and assume that businesses advertised or promoted by them have been subject to meaningful checks or standards. Based on my experience that confidence is misplaced.

I have previously raised concerns and posted about this matter and I have not forgotten it. The lack of response or accountability raises serious questions about how the AA protects consumers versus how it protects its commercial relationships.

I would urge anyone relying on AA cars advertising or recommendations to carry out their own independent checks and not assume that association with the AA guarantees transparency or consumer protection.

Lisa from the leasing department has very poor customer service as wanted to lease a car however very unhelpful with delivery dates and getting paperwork correctly issued.

Lauren was so attentive from the first phone call, she made a call to the trader and we came to an agreement (we had been weeks trying to get a straight answer from trader) so we are very grateful that our dispute was cleared up just before Christmas! 10/10 for Lauren as she saved the day for us !!

My interaction and communication with specifically Connor was nothing short of fantastic. Extremely personable and explained everything well.

We have used AA to lease a car for a couple of years. It did not turn up on the agreed date and no contact. Two weeks later having to chase every day. Still no car with various excuses. We have not been offered a substitute while the problem gets sorted and no date when the car will finally be delivered. So far paying insurance for a car we have not got. For a large corporation this is absolutely disgusting service. I would not recommend them

I was having difficulties getting a used car dealer ship to take my car back after an initial repair. Long story but they point blank refused to help.

The car was an AA approved vehicle so I contacted the AA mitigation team to see if they could help. I was contacted by a lady called Verity Lowe and she was fantastic. She got the full history from me then contacted the garage, their initial response was no different, however, she kept me informed as she went back and forth and eventually agreed with them to take the vehicle back. She was absolutely fantastic and so was the result. Thank Verity for you diligence on my behalf.

I recently received support from The AA regarding an ongoing refund dispute with a car garage, and I want to highlight the exceptional help I received from Hayley Mills.

Hayley took the time to fully understand the situation, reviewed the evidence, and followed up with the garage directly. Her involvement made a clear difference — payments that had been delayed for months finally started moving once she intervened, and she kept me informed throughout the process.

Her professionalism, patience, and genuine willingness to help turned a very stressful situation into something manageable. I am truly grateful for her assistance.

Sophie at AA mediation service was excellent. We were owed a deposit for a vehicle we didn’t end up buying. She called and took the time to listen to my issue, and managed to achieve a very satisfying result with return of my deposit. It’s definitely worth asking for help from the AA and wouldn’t hesitate to ask for assistance in the future.

Purchased a car from an independent dealership, only to discover later that there were mechanical issues that went against their ad claims. Tried to resolve it myself but was abused by the dealership. Contacted the AA and had Grace look after the situation. Through all of the delays and setbacks (intentional by the dealership no doubt), Grace was persistent and fought hard to make sure I got the fixes required. After ~3 months we finally got the fixes done. Very thankful to Grace and the AA for the effort she put in.
