Younes was a real pleasure to deal with! He was fast to respond, very friendly and really cared about me getting the right carpet for my needs. Shipping was seamless and fast. Not to mention, the carpet itself is beautiful!

For starters Younes is a very likeable person who takes a great deal of pride in his business and the quality of his work. We had 4 Persian carpets that all needed cleaning and we sought his advice on restorative measures regarding fringes and edging. He offered wholly reasonable quotations explaining exactly what he would do. The end result in all cases was excellent. They look beautifully clean and the fringes secured and tidied in expert fashion. The carpets already have 70+ years on the clock and they still look as good as when we got them 40 years ago. It was a pleasure dealing with Younes and I would fully recommend his craftmanship to others.

In addition to our rug purchase that I mentioned in our previous review, Younes has also carried out a very professional restoration on 2 old rugs. They were in such poor condition that we had given up using them but following his work they are looking beautiful and back in use.

The shop has a great selection and Younes is very knowledgeable and approachable. We purchased 5 rugs from the shop and are very happy with them all. Good prices and superb quality. Plenty of free parking just outside the shop. John & Barbara

I took two rugs to TOC for cleaning. One was always going to be a straightforward job. The other, bought 20 years ago, had a number of red wine stains on it, and had subsequently lived in my garage for the past 15 years. More in hope than expectation, I handed over the rug. A minimum of 70% improvement was suggested by Younes. The carpet returned in pristine condition. I was amazed. Younes appears to have an extensive knowledge of oriental rugs. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him or TOC. Many thanks.

I have just had a 30 year old Turkish rug cleaned and repaired. The colours have come up bright and fresh again, and the numerous small holes caused by sparks from our fire have been repaired almost invisibly, with the various colours matched exactly. The edges, which were fraying a bit, were also repaired at no extra charge, which I wasn't expecting. Thank you. I can enjoy my much-loved rug again.
