Amazing experience. We visited with friends and all of us were delighted with the experience. Staff were top notch professionals and facilities were impeccable.

Everything was top notch. Beautiful scenery. Delicious cuisine. Comfortable bed. Clean and spacious room. A great escape from everyday life. I highly recommend.

Absolutely perfect! So spacious and everything you could want beautifully presented. The view from every window was magnificent. The staff at Terrace Downs are so welcoming and helpful. Would return in a heart beat.

We had a lovely time. Staff were really friendly and helpful, the villa was lovely, massages great, dinner at Hunters catered for our dietary requirements and was delicious. The snow storm made for a winter wonderland and the views from our villa were spectacular! Thanks for the great memories :)

Great place, service levels are room were good

We had a lovely stay, the staff were friendly, helpful and attentive.

We chose Terrace Downs to be close to the Mt Hutt ski field. It's a beautiful spot! We really enjoyed the lovely accommodation and it had everything we needed (right down to the hot water bottles!). We ate twice in the restaurant and the meals were delicious and the service very friendly and accommodating. I would definitely recommend Terrace Downs to anyone planning to stay (or visit for the golf and other activities on offer).

From the time of booking the weekend online, we experienced excellent service from all the staff who were polite and very helpful,which all helped to create a wonderfull experience which also included a wonderfull spa experience from 2 highly professional and experienced masseurs, we can't wait to do it all again.

This is a great spot for awhole range of reasons. Villa accommodation is high end and the views are to die for.
There are a range of outdoor activities to choose from - we opted for the archery with Neil who was superb. Good location for skiing too. The restaurant was good value and good food and the wait staff were delightful. We wil be back.

Stayed x2 nights in luxury. Had amazing spa treatment. Would highly recommend the archery and clay bird shooting - Neil was a fantastic teacher. All staff were courteous and obliging. A truly magical break away

Consistent service and products across the resort. Fabulous

Accommodation was not up to scratch for "resort" status, it felt very overpriced for what we received. The front door wouldn't open completely because it was catching on the tile floor of the kitchen, the Californian king bed we were so looking forward to had terrible roll together and should probably be replaced, the heat pump was incredibly loud which meant we had to turn it off over night so we could sleep. The door onto the balcony had a dodgy locking mechanism and when we came back from dinner late that evening it was wide open....! The duvet inner was only covered by a flat sheet that was rolled over at the head end to cover it the top piece just enough. No duvet cover, no protector, nothing...that's not satisfactory at all.

Meals - Dinner, while the flavours were delicious, there was simply not enough of it, I've never paid for a meal where I still felt hungry afterwards especially not one that is four courses and has a significant price tag! Disappointed. Breakfast was just as disappointing, we paid for this when we booked our accommodation. At $25.00 a head it's overpriced and not what you would expect from a resort. The cafe breakfast menu had more appealing options and for a cheaper price as well.

The mini olympics was great fun - highly recommend to others!

We took the mountain bikes out for a ride only to discover there was no where to really ride them. Put in a couple of short tracks so the space can be enjoyed more.

All in all we won't be back. We've heard from others who've stayed a few years previous that were surprised by what we had to say so sounds like standards have slipped! Need to sort that out.

Fantastic views as we had a lovely clear day and night, Accommodation was nice huge rooms unfortunately just a few small picks. batteries were flat in tv remote and heat pump remote lucky heat pump was on or we would of been Freezing for a place like Terrace Downs would of thought these things would be checked, the staff are fantastic. Food was a big let down plate were cold. my soup was just warm, main plate was cold and food not far behind. didn't make a fuss at the time as we were with a group and was someone's birthday . we weren't the only ones to mention this the next day. Also we had a carrot cake in the café witch was very very dry and unpleasant. being a Chef myself I was looking forward to the food as I had herd it was good. We wouldn't go back unless there was something on again. not for the Food anyway .

Accommodation could do with an upgrade.

It is a beautiful resort and we really enjoyed our stay. It was a shame we didn't know you had to prebook activities such as the archery but we really enjoyed our short stay.

Rooms seemed dated and well-used. Felt like it was over priced. Being charged 1.5% surcharge for using a credit card is a thing of the 80's or a business that isn't making a profit, desperate times. When do they start charging for wages for how long you sit in the restaurant.

We recently stayed at the resort for 5 nights, and we love and always try to choose superior accommodation. It is such a beautiful property, maintained immaculately, and lovely staff. Only 1 restaurant for dinner and they couldn't deliver room service to our room due to staff numbers, however we worked around it and collected it ourselves. Highly recommended from us.

Loved the location, close to lots of activities. Brilliant views.
Accommodation was splendid. Staff were polite and welcoming.
Just little things that prevented a 5/5 rating - our villa lost power in the middle of the night, but we managed to reset the circuit breaker ourselves.
We ate at the Hunters restaurant. For the price we paid, we were disappointed by the portion sizes and desserts. Really, a bit more veggies and the dessert was average, though presented well.

Would we go back, yes. Would we reccomend Hunters, probably not for the price paid. We'd definitely stay there again and cook ourselves in a villa.

Terrace downs is a stunning location!! We had a blast clay shooting, walking and enjoying delicious food. The accommodation is lovely, warm with beautiful mountain views. Terrace downs has everything you could possibly need for a relaxing weekend away!
