ATTENTION Frais de douane en + / Très bon Service Client
Le site et les produits sont très bien. En revanche, ce qui n’était pas clair pour moi au moment de la commande, c’est que des frais d’importation très élevés peuvent être réclamés après l’expédition, puisque les produits viennent du Royaume-Uni.
Pour une commande de 80 €, FedEx m’a ainsi demandé 35 € supplémentaires, en plus des frais de port déjà payés. Une mauvaise surprise qui nous rappelle malheureusement certains avantages que nous avions au sein de l’Union européenne avant le Brexit… Cela ne donne vraiment plus envie de commander des produits britanniques, ce que je déplore autant pour eux que pour nous.
La livraison par FedEx a également été très compliquée. En revanche, le service client de Temptation Gifts, notamment Rebecca et Roby, a été d’une grande aide et d’une vraie gentillesse. Je remonte donc bien volontiers ma note grâce à leur accompagnement. Merci à eux !

hello, thank you for your review.As in our email correspondence, since Brexit, all orders being shipped to EU countries are now subject to customs tax and charges, the exact amount is determined by customs and excise in the country of destination, and unfortunately these are beyond our control. We are unable to arrange a system of delivery to the EU than means that the customer does not have to pay vat/local sales tax and or duty on the goods, if your delivery is being made by FedEx, our chosen international courier, FedEx will usually notify you of any fee to pay either on the morning of delivery, or at the point of delivery. However, as in our international delivery information, in our experience, the implementation of additional fees and charges on international deliveries is somewhat haphazard and varies from country to country, so we are unable to estimate what, if any, fees may be charged to you. We therefore recommend visiting your government’s customs and import website for further information if you are concerned.
You would have been made aware of this once in the checkout of our webstore and again on your order confirmation, we advise that any customs or tax charges are the responsibility of the customer and as per our terms and conditions, I’m sorry, but I’m afraid that we cannot be held responsible for any charges levied by customs and excise, or FedEx, please refer to the link below:

Sara Miller & bottle
I ordered two Sara Miller tins, two metal Sara Miller Easter eggs and a water bottle. The Sara Miller items were beautiful as always and arrived as photographed and in perfect condition. (It would have been even better if I could have selected which tin designs to buy but it did say you were unable to choose). I love the water bottle - I have lots of metal ones and over time the bottom gets dented and they fall over so end up being thrown away. This one is very pretty and has a rubber bottom that makes it more stable, unable to be dented and is embossed with a pretty design. Delighted with it all.

Thank you for your review. We are sorry but unfortunately, we cannot be held responsible for any incomplete or incorrect address information on the order details. We ship the orders in good faith as we believe that the information provided has been verified and is correct. When placing the order, our website prompts customers to check the address whilst entering it at the checkout and again just prior to entering your card details and paying and then again when we email you the confirmation of your order. We do not change or amend addresses, unless requested to do so by our customer.
Due to the volume of parcels sent out every day, we are unable to individually check each address that comes through. Our automated dispatch system does make some standard checks to verify that it’s a UK address with a valid post code, but it cannot check that names and numbers are entered correctly, therefore because the postcode was included, the Royal Mail postage label system did not flag up any issues on this occasion.
When placing the order, our website prompts customers to check the address whilst entering it at the checkout, and again just prior to entering your card details and paying, and again when we email you the confirmation of your order. Excellent customer service and great prices and items
Really impressed with temptation gifts customer service. There was a small flaw on one product I received within a larger order (not a fault of temptation gifts but a small printing flaw from Hornsea). Replacement being sent with priority mail without any fuss at all.
Items were also the best prices I’d seen anywhere. Will definitely be looking for items here first when I’m looking for a gift! (The Wrendale fox is amazing!!)

Lovely items at good prices and quickly delivered, have used several times now and superb items for gifts or myself.

How retail should be done!
I order from this company a lot when wanting last minute gifts and they are always first class. They are the best example of how online retail should be.
Also just read on their website about Jelly cat no longer sell from them. I think that's a big mistake and Jelly Cat maybe need to remember which shops have helped make them who they are.

I can’t fault this company. I ordered 3 China mugs. All were as described and high quality. They were dispatched quickly and arrived in a strong box with plenty of padding.

the expensive tax
I was happy to find this product, as it was unavailable elsewhere. The price was high but still reasonable. However, there was no mention anywhere that I would be charged a tax upon delivery. A €14 tax on a £20 purchase makes it excessively expensive in the end.
