I’ve been a consistent user of platform for a couple of years, and sometimes use it on my laptop, and suddenly this month my access has been blocked on my laptop with no clear resolution. I followed every step the system and support directed me to—multiple times—and ended up going in circles without any real help.

This has disrupted how I communicate and manage my information, forcing me to rely on other apps just to transfer basic data between my computer and phone. That’s not acceptable for a service I’ve trusted and used for so long.

If this issue isn’t resolved quickly, I will be moving away from this platform entirely. I’m also seriously considering encouraging my friends, family, and network to do the same. Users should not have to fight against the very tools they depend on.

Whatever systems, bots, or restrictions are causing this interference—especially on desktop—need to be fixed immediately. If not, you risk losing a large number of loyal users who are simply tired of being blocked out of their own accounts.

Please resolve this promptly.

If i coud rate it -100000000 I would. Literally 0 support when account gets hacked. Instead of being able to terminate a session of hackers immediately I get locked out after 30 seconds of being logged in, which does not give me ANY ability to stay on the account for 24 hours to become a trusted device with abilty to delete scammers. How the hell does telegram not terminate session of a scamming bot automatically when it spams everyone in contacts with messages, but terminates ME due to SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY who literally does not even click anything for those miserable 30 seconds. Also explain me how exactly does telegram not find an active session from a random country suspicious, while my session that was logged in with a phone number of specific country with my 2FA password and has IP address from matching country, gets terminated. Absolutely disgusting and useless service. Why even bother having it at all if it does nothing. EVER.

They STOLE both my accounts — criminals First account: hijacked. Reported it. They did NOTHING. Second account: locked — told I had to PAY to access it. When I checked? Completely BLANK. They stole my content and want money for nothing. Now I'm starting over — but not here. I'm exposing them everywhere I can. SCAM APP. They didn't just freeze my account - they BANNED my phone number entirely. No reason given. No appeal possible. This is how they treat everyone.

Mein Telegram-Account wurde gehackt und ich kann mich seit einigen Tagen nicht mehr einloggen. Von meinem Namen wurden diverse Links und Zahlungsaufforderungen an meine gesamte Kontaktliste verschickt. Meine Anfragen an „Telegram-Security“ sowohl über das Formular als auch per E-Mail wurden bislang nicht beantwortet. Ich kann daher aktuell nur von der Nutzung dieser App abraten.

scammed for 23euro. The payment went through, the money was debited from the card, Premium didn't appear, and there's virtually no support. Don't pay with a Telegram/Durov card—there's no way to resolve the issue, and the Apple Store is twice as expensive—but at least you can resolve the issue and manage your money.

I had to do this review as businesses such as this one should not exist. This is supposed to be a privacy oriented messaging platform. Account hacked. Cannot get back into account. Cannot reset the account, considering it is the only option. The reset loops. It sends an authentication code to my email, then asks me for my password, prompts me to reset the account, and then does not reset it going back into the same loop. After attempting to contact them through the web customer support form 3-4 times and sending an email directly to a customer support email I somehow found online, days later, I still have not received a response. All I need to make sure is that my information has been deleted and not in the hands of wrongdoers. Obviously never-ever telegram no more. Bye and peace out. I am sure you can do without me Telegram...

L'app è ben fatta, ma il problema è quando capita di aver bisogno dell'assistenza. Anche se rapida nel rispondere, non fornisce nessuna indicazione utile. Inoltre i modi lasciano molto a desiderare.

Ik ben via telegram terecht gekomen bij Ron Waldorp die belooft je een goed resultaat bij belegging dat leek ook zo te zijn en we maakten een deal dat het resultaat op mijn rekening zou komen. Maar toen het op uitbetalen aankwam kwam hij plotseling om de hoek met betalingen welke ik eerst moest doen voor ik het geld kon ontvangen. Terwijl afspraak was geen extra kosten. Dus ik verwacht dat ik hier met een oplichter te maken heb.

We use telegram for work, I would prefer not to but, it is the primary messaging app our non-profit .org uses. Have used it for YEARS with no problem.
A couple months ago I sent a work colleague who I had never messaged before a link to my google photos drive with pictures of an installation we were doing in the museum. My account was immediately blocked by the bot, no option for my colleague to verify the message was legit. There was an option to appeal the decision but within 5 mins they denied my appeal, didn't even bother looking at the information I provided in the appeal or they would have seen it was legit work communications, likely another AI bot. I have been requesting my account be reviewed every couple days with the account helper bot but it is an endless loop. I left it alone for a few days and now my account is completely gone, deleted, and my phone number is blocked.
I had to use my kids phone number to start a new account which I can still use on my phone with the banned phone number (that is STUPID). So their bans are pointless since the people who might exploit the system can just register to a google voice number and still use their original device. They need to come up with something better, it is ridiculous and only punishes users who get a false positive for spam. Shouldn't it at minimum require someone to report the message as spam first before just knee jerk reacting?
They owe me hours of my time trying to recover my account which has NO HUMAN OVERSIGHT and now all conversations containing important information over the last few years with colleagues are lost forever. F Telegram!

I got banned for literally using telegram, contacting potential customers without doing anything wrong. Great app lol.

Telegram is a joke. Random messages from from scammers. No response when writing them about a scammer account.

Absolute waste of time to try and use this completely useless app, I don’t understand how an app can exist yet it is impossible to use because it will never allow you to create a profile. Completely baffles me how anyone is even able to use this app and honestly anyone who says anything good about it is obviously not a real customer.

If i could give less stars i would. So unsafe especially for younger ones who aren't streetwise. My son is only 15 managed to create an account and was instantly spammed and tried to have money extorted from him luckily he told me instead of the kids you hear committing suicide

It takes a long time to download large files.

Bin eigentlich schon einige Zeit dabei umd war zufrieden. Aber langsam bekommen die Höhenflüge.
Beim Neuinstallieren der App (direkt von TG geholt) soll ich erst mal für einen Euro nen Premium für ne Woche kaufen, weil die SMS so teuer sind. Es geht sonst einfach nicht weiter.
Merken die es noch?
Ich nenne sowas Erpressung!
