TechGropse - Misrepresentations and No Deliverables
I hired TechGropse to develop a mobile app focused on tracking the health and safety of a third party. The project was specifically represented as being deliverable on iOS. After 16 months, no usable product was ever delivered. There was:
no functioning iOS application
no deployable backend
no production-ready build
no working product consistent with the agreed specifications
Throughout the project, I was repeatedly told that milestones had been completed and was asked to approve them. The PM was removed and replaced with another employee who did nothing, failing to update me on any progress whatsoever and non-responsive to email. In reality, the claimed functionality was incomplete or did not exist. Progress was consistently overstated, and core systems were never properly implemented.
Near the end of the engagement, I was told that the app could not function as intended on iOS due to platform limitations. This directly contradicts the original representations and the purpose of the agreement.
The project extended over a year with continuous delays and no meaningful deliverables, while payments were requested in line with the milestone schedule.
At this point, I have formally terminated the agreement and am pursuing recovery of approximately $13,000 paid for the project.
I would strongly recommend that anyone considering this company require verified, working deliverables at each stage before making payments.
