For years, we have a history of excellence providing moving services in New York and the Tri State area. TDY Moving & Storage is proud to inform everyone that we offer a vast variety of services. When we started, our service was on a very small scale. Within time, we gained the trust of our clients, allowing us to further our moving expertise. No matter what type of moving service you require, we can do it for you. We provide local and long distance service for both commercial and residential clients. There are all types of services our clients can require. If it is of importance to you, we can do just about anything. Many of our residential and even commercial clients seek storage place while moving. We can ensure the goods to be secured in a clean place for as much time as your relocation will need. We have a large storage place to fulfill any type of request. We also offer different packing services for residential and commercial moves. An exclusive service that not many moving companies provide is our shipping service. We provide shipping service from one state to another. Not everything can be moved by our road service, so shipping service comes in handy in such situations. We have an up to date shipping base and a warm friendly team to assist our clients at all hours of the day.

TDY Moving was easily accessible during…

TDY Moving was easily accessible during entire moving process via email or phone. They did a great job moving our belongings within a very short notice. I contacted them and asked for a price. Their manager thoroughly explained how the moving would go and gave me the estimate based on the information I gave. It was very reasonable. The movers were on time and got to work quickly. The movers were great at the packing service- all the boxes were marked and easily found upon arrival. Everything arrived in the same condition as it left. I had a really stress-free move with these guys.

YDY stinks

Initially I thought they were great when they picked up my stuff in Brooklyn but when it arrived 2 weeks later in Arlington VA I was devestated. 3 bookcases, 2 lamps, turntable, numerous picture frames, bed frame incompletely put together and 1 box containing my camera and a World Trade Sculpture missing.When I called they couldn’t have cared less!

Fantastic job by a great crew-Lewis, Thomas and Jamal.

Staff (Lewis, Thomas and Jamal) very professional and pleasant. Easy to work with and did a great job of packing up our furniture. We loved how everything was wrapped and sealed since the furniture was going into storage. Once they reached our storage destination they did a great job of unloading and putting everything where we asked them to.

Reliable and Honest

My second time using TDY requested same foreman from first move. Everything went smooth again and with speed. Would recommend them honest and honor prices quoted and will adjust if job finishes earlier than quoted.

Best mover you can get for the price

They came to my apartment at exact scheduled time. There was a minor communication misunderstanding about the quote prior the move, but it was not significant and got resolved right away. Total time for the move took extra one hour than the quote due to some unexpected highway traffic and I had to pay extra amount. But I got refund for that since it was not my fault which I highly appreciated. They also helped me packing/unpacking and made the move very easy. They are very professional and definitely recommend their service.

There is no better mover

I have moved back and forth around the country for the last 20 yrs with mixed success and mixed anxiety. A new bar was set with TDY and John and his team. I will never use any another moving company again. They were jovial and upbeat, helpful with suggestions and able to work so fast, carefully and with their customer. They were 48% cheaper than the next quote to boot.
