As per a few other review - very poor communication. They sell the tea as if it is in stock.
They charged my credit card as if they were processing the order.
BUT THEY DID NOT EVEN HAVE THE TEA IN STOCK!

I eventually get an email saying I could check delivery status but only if I download Shop.com (who would then have permission to access all sorts of my personal information)

I emailed customer service saying I did not want to use Shop.com and did get a quick reply. Neither tea I ordered was in stock. One was expected "soon" and they would notify me whenever the other one was available.
The price is good, but I wanted the tea now, not some future unknown date.
I will not purchase from them again.

Tastes Like Tea is a wonderful company! They sell a variety of unique teas and many other products. My order was complete and fulfilled within a few weeks. The package arrived in great condition and the team at Tastes Like Tea communicated with me about shipping updates. I believe the shipping and arrival time takes a while because of their location in California. This company can be trusted. Give them a chance and place your order with advance notice.

I wanted to write a review as I was a little skeptical as to the legitimacy of this website and thought I would write this to help others. I placed an order as it is the by far the cheapest place to get my Smith Tea. I did receive my tea after 3 -4 weeks, however it did take a long time and they shipped separately.

If you want tea at the reasonable price that they offer, expect it to take some time but it should eventually arrive packaged well. My feedback would be that this site should better communicate that there is quite a delay in shipping after ordering to manage customer expectations. If you want tea in a hurry, then this is not the site to buy from, if you want bulk tea for cheap, then this is the place.

I ordered 2 of the canisters The Tahitian Rooibos tea, Totaling 36.90 on November 29th. After waiting for a week and a half and hearing nothing from them about the order, I emailed them and explained it was a Christmas gift for someone, and I would need it no later than Dec. 12th. They emailed back and gave the excuse that they had just gotten a shipment in and would be mailing it out to me on Dec. 9th and upgrading the shipping so that it would arrive on time before my deadline. That never happened. Then I got a notice that they sent this out by USPS and I wouldn't be getting it until DEC 19th! Which is way past what I needed it by! And this is the best part... they are going to refund me the cost of shipping, a whopping $4.90! Seriously? They never informed me that they tea was out of stock until after I asked why I had not received it. Had they notified me right away I could have shopped elsewhere for it. So now I have no gift to give my person AND no place to purchase it from and receive it by the 13th PLUS I now have to pay to ship it to the person I bought it for! Having said all of this I suggested that they might overnight another one to me so that have it by December 12th. If for no other reason than just good business to keep a customer happy because you know this is completely your fault. They never responded to that e-mail. I paid them in good faith to deliver this item and they woefully neglected to hold up their end of the deal. Don't purchase from this company. Theres a good chance you won't receive your merchandise in the time frame needed.

I was a little hesitant to purchase from them without any reviews. And, without much information regarding who was behind the store on their website, like a strong “About Us”.

But I took a chance and am really glad I did.

The purchase was easy and seamless, shipping was very quick (next day) and my products came soon thereafter, professionally packed up.

It was a great purchase experience and I would definitely purchase from them again.
