Amazing food, great staff and just a lovely experience for a birthday treat.

Possibly the worst thing I’ve been too! The film was the only good thing about this experience! Not explained properly! Paid money for premium seats and they are all the same unless you thing front seats of 4 rows only is justified! Food tiny and cold and I mean served cold including chicken wings and bread and butter pudding! Can honestly say one of the single wastes of money spent and it was for a birthday and wedding anniversary so I was completely embarrassed and not stopped apologising! You’d expect in the Big city of London surrounded my amazing foods and entertainment it would hold its own but please don’t bother! Gutted! Travelled 54 miles night in a hotel the weekend has cost over £500 and should have staid at home with our favourite takeaway and a bottle of wine! Food was no better than cold school dinner and children’s portion! Weatherspoons do it better if only the played films!

My sixth visit to a Taste Film and the 3rd at this venue. As always wonderful event, awesome team in the kitchen, serving and presenting.
Food cleverly matches the movie in all the best ways. This was Friends so 5 episodes and worked best.

The Slogger was great and the hot chocolate was delicious.Al At the end you do feel a bit sore in the stomach but it's worth it😃👍

Really disappointing experience. Simpsons movie in Manchester…after waiting outside the locked venue until the “start time” it was slow to get everyone seated as the full venue then had to form a queue and get seated, took around 30 minutes, after that came a section that wasn’t advertised of a host shouting down a microphone “are you ready for a great night…THATS NOT LOUD ENOUGH LETS TRY AGAIN” and going through a group quiz together for 25 minutes. It felt very forced and awkward.

When the film began my ear drums nearly burst, not being a professional cinema setup the only option is to blast the film at insane volumes to reach everyone in the room, we were set very close to a speaker with no option to move.

The burger and fries were fine, Burger King standard, the hot chocolate was not exactly exciting, the whipped cream marshmallow and wafer conjures up an image which was far away from what was presented. A thin layer of melted squirty cream, one marshmallow and a pink wafer biscuit directly in the cup wasn’t quite the “sexy hot chocolate” of my dreams.

Next came the hotdog, the end of my bun was so stale it was like a rock, I wondered at first if it was toasted, but no, 2 inches of completely stale rock hard bread, had to leave the whole thing and ask the waiter to inform the kitchen staff. They did apologise and offer a new one (after everyone had finished that course) but it should never have been served.

The lime beer was delicious

The doughnut sundae was the most disappointing of all, one supermarket standard ring doughnut with a scoop of chocolate ice cream ontop of it and a small amount of squirty cream on that.

£91 a ticket for this, we left after the food which was finished halfway through the film.

I didn’t expect anything amazing but this all felt done on the cheap and I wouldn’t recommend or go again.

Attending the Taste Film screening was an experience that truly surprised me with how it elevates movie-watching into something special. I recently saw The Simpsons Movie, and the culinary journey that accompanied it was nothing short of delightful and fun! Fantastic unique experience. We watched Jaws at shown Parlour in London. The food/drink pairing was cleverly thought out and right on theme with the specific part of the movie. Event was perfectly organised. The venue was excellent as were the staff.

A great experience! Really enjoyed the nostalgia of trying foods you always wanted to from the film and it did taste good. Seemed well organised, we had a good view of the screen and sound was good. Only thing that let it down a little bit id say was the dessert

I would say this is a great experience and definitely something you should do. The food was great quality and there was a lot of it. I watched the Simpsons movie and the food definitely matched with the film. I think it was more on the expensive side and I’d do it more if it was cheaper but at £90 a ticket it’s definitely something you can’t do all the time. The venue was well set out and very comfortable.

This is a fantastic experience! My boyfriend and I went to watch The Simpsons Movie and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The food was excellent and looked just like it did in the movie, the servers were brilliant and the themed drinks were delicious!

Amazing menu and quality, and good value for money

My brother/matey purchased this for my birthday. We saw the Simpsons movie and it was great fun. The hosts were a laugh, and the menu was very fitting for the movie. Think we will be checking more out soon!

Went to the Simpsons movie tastefilm in Manchester. Thoroughly enjoyed it. The themed quiz at the start was an enjoyable start to the night, the themed drinks were delicious, the vegan food was really good too, good full portion sizes. The screen was small as on a projector and in a bar not a cinema, and the seats arent tiered as it is not a film venue so if you are on the shorter side probably best to get there early and get a front seat as might struggle to see otherwise. We sat at the back and it was quite loud as we sat near a speaker so if you are sensitive to noise some earplugs would be good to take as you dont know where youre gonna sit. All staff members really friendly, swift service throughout the film, yes it is on the pricey side but it made a really enjoyable date night with quality food and drink, we definitely got more than enough for the length of the film. Will book again, hopefully for a closer city to us!
